À la sortie, vous vous retrouverez à 5 minutes de distance à pied (345 m) de Charles de Gaulle - Étoile et à 6 minutes des rues Pierre Charron et Balzac. Intercalée entre les stations de Charles de Gaulle–Étoile et Franklin D. Roosevelt, elle donne accès au 118 avenue des Champs-Elysées et au 101 de l’avenue George-V.

The Four Seasons Paris is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at! From the moment I arrived, the service was incredible. The staff is so friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The hotel itself is stunning--so luxurious and beautifully designed. Every detail is perfect! I felt like royalty the whole time. If you're looking for the nicest hotel in Paris, this is definitely the one to choose. It's #1 for a reason! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough out the level of excellence this hotel brings. From the moment you step into the lobby, to your departure; no detail is left behind. The flower displays alone are a must see; so delightful to the senses. Gorgeous rooms, perfect location, and outstanding service. A must stay when in Paris.

If I could give this place additional stars I would. We went to breakfast there this morning and had the best meal ever! The staff was incredible and the food selection was beyond anything you can imagine. Everyone welcomed us as if we were royalty and served us more food than we could possibly eat. The hot chocolate was like a melted Hershey bar and the omelet was enough for 4 people! The buffet had everything and I mean everything! Fresh fruits, smoked salmon, pastries galore, breads, cheeses etc. Little things made it so lovely... a small footstool for your handbags, etc. Hanging up your jackets ( at no additional charge!) Constantly checking to make sure everything was perfect. I look forward to coming back and dining here again. When in Paris make it a point to go even if you're not a guest of the hotel. Just arrive before 9 am and you are escorted to a beautifully decorated table. Bravo!!

One of the best bars I've ever been to. We went during fashion week and had no reservation, but the hostess said if we would be willing to be in and out in 1 hour we could have the table. Well worth it in every way. Such great old world ambiance, great service, and amazing drinks. The ice cube with the pineapple mold was an especially nice touch.

Hands down so far in my life. This is the best hotel I've ever been to. The service was incredible. The ambience was amazing the staff could not be nicer, and the concierge went more than above, and beyond to make sure all of my 10 days went perfectly. I did not have time to plan the trip in advance before coming to the hotel and while I was there, they were able to help me with so many last-minute reservations, and really made sure that we comfortable and taking care of. Not to mention, this hotel is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing fresh flower arrangements as well . Words can't describe how incredible this hotel is and it's going to be very hard to top the service. I can't wait to come back again.

Four Season hotels are not all equal. This one is superb. I love the ambiance from the minute you walk in. It just feels very romantic and grand. I suppose it is Paris, after all. The staff are very nice, polite, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend. The restaurants are all amazing, as well.

One of the best if not maybe the best hotel in Paris. Really amazing staff, always good to be here. Gym is impeccable, rooms super clean and bright, staff very attentive. Food is spectacular and bar service is quite on track. Cocktails are delicious.

Stopped in for drinks & food at the bar. Bar opens at 5pm now. Fabulous setting & ambiance. My wife ordered a special martini, which she loved, and I ordered Jack & 7. We were given menus and selected the Croque Monsieur for each of us. The food was incredible as, of course was the service & presentation. We felt truly valued as guests even though were were not staying at the hotel. It's a pricey splurge for us but one we try to do every year. We are never disappointed.

Best hotel I've stayed at HANDS DOWN! There so attentive. Any and everything you need they'll get you. Their really good with pre-arrival plans as well. They communicate with you via email constantly pre-arrival to make sure the room is to your liking. I had them decorate the room for Valentine's Day. It was beautiful! Four Seasons Hotel is hands down the best hotel I've stayed.

We just spent 5 days at the Plaza Athenee in a $5,000 a night room because their food was so bad and moved to the Four Seasons George V. Wow! This place is so much better in EVERY respect. The food is wonderful, the central rooms are more elegant, the $5,000 rooms are much bigger and nicer, it has two bathrooms, not one as at Plaza Athenee, it has a small kitchen [Athenee had none], it has more films on the TV, the TV menu is comprehensible to English speakers AND IT HAS A FABULOUS POOL, which Athenee lacks. Plaza Athenee will never see me again. Note, I am not being paid by Four Seasons for this review.

The hotel is beautiful with fresh flowers everywhere. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a nice lunch downstairs, there was a bit of a lag but I'm not sure it was because it just opened and there was a formal wedding reception being staged outside. Regardless they were apologetic and offered to pay for our drinks. The second time we came downstairs was late, service was much quicker as we enjoyed some tea. I was ecstatic to find out they had matcha and milk alternatives - almond and soy. He told its normally listed on the breakfast menu as to why I didn't see it in the regular one. So if you're a matcha drinker - just ask and you shall receive :) If you're not staying in the four seasons it's definitely worth stopping by for lunch and enjoying another one of Paris's beauties ;)

This place is everything! I came for dinner and for the afternoon piano player and singer (to R&B music). Yes, you heard right, R&B music!!! How can Europe serve better service and entertainment (with our own music) than the US?!? The piano/musical singer starts at 8pm and ends at 12am on the dot (Thursday-Saturday). It's worth every minute! Call ahead a day in advance for seating or else you'll have to sit far in another room at the bar and bar seating is VERY limited with only seven seats; of course first come first serve. Decorations are to die for and service when compared to the US is beyond exceptional!!!

Absolutely stunning- elegant and gorgeous foyer with a top notch bar. We didn't stay here for this trip but always make it a point to stop and have a drink. A no brainer.

I had such a wonderful time at the grand opening of the updated Four Season's Spa! Facial time!!!! What a wonderful esthetician I had. The polynesian moisture facial is what my skin needed lots of moisture. They took me in and made an appointment right away and treated me like royalty. Two drawbacks are: 1. that this location does not have a private seating area in the women nor men's locker area for relaxation. So, I had to use my laptop in the lobby area (while sitting in my robe). The pool area is the only area that has a relaxation area. 2. With a facial you are not allowed to use pool. With a massage you get full access. *typically with spa services you are allowed full use of the spa area. Teas and flavored waters were sat out while I was waiting. There are no snacks (apples, fruits, dried fruits, nuts, etc.) for guests while waiting or relaxing. Again, this was the first day of the opening of the spa...so they haven't gotten all the kinks out yet. The CUTE outfits they attendants wore are so cute and the retail area has some good treats to purchase for facials, massage, hair, etc. I'll be back! The facial was THE BEST I've ever had and my skin felt wonderful and my body truly relaxed. Thank you Four Seasons!!!

We stay at Four Seasons all over the world but have never been treated so rudely in any four seasons as we were by the gentlemen host at the bar of the George V. Absolutely un four seasons like. We were staying next door and walked over for a drink and we're basically thrown out as we were not guests. There were two seats at the bar which would have been fine. Also plenty of tables. Having just come from the Four Seasons Milan that hotel was a true four seasons property, not this pretentious joke. Nice to know we don't have to bother staying here in the future

I wish I could give 10 stars. The four seasons helped me plan my proposal on July 6th and it was amazing the attention to detail. The food was absolutely breath taking and the service was above and beyond. If you are looking for fine dining I would highly recommend. Also very close to the Eiffel Tower so after dinner it's nice to sit on the lawn and watch the tower light up. Also she said yes!

I don't know if it is possible to give less than 5 stars for this Parisian hotel. Incredible hotel architecture, quality service, delish restaurants and cocktails, incredibly comfortable beds, it was a home away from home. The room rates are pricey but it's well worth the money! There's a small lounge on the first floor that makes creative cocktails and offers upscale bar foods. It is recommended to request reservations for this lounge and surrounding restaurants. La Cinq is the restaurant (across from the lounge) crafting French, delicate dishes. The chef was gracious enough to step out towards closing time and speak with guests and take a picture with us. Front desk, housekeeping, and all other hotel staff were all courteous and friendly and assisted us with anything we needed. Cabs are called for you in the front, room service is 24/7, rooms are cleaned twice daily, and spa service is available on its own floor. There are luxury boutiques and breakfast buffets available all on the first floor, past the beautifully decorated lobby. The hotel is located near Champs de Elysee where you can eat and shop throughout the strip. The Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles are about 30 min away by taxi. The Eiffel Tower is about 5 min away by taxi. If you want to have a well relaxed stay, Four Seasons George is the renowned hotel to book!

Such a disappointment. Wish it was better as we're paying over $1K a night, but to be honest we would NEVER pay to stay here again. We have called a total or 5 (FIVE) times to get a very small ice bucket filled. Each time w're told 'right away' and each time nobody shows up. We left for a couple of hours and came back to no turn down service or new towels. Again we're paying over $1K a night for a room that is nowhere near a view of the Eiffel Tower. I couldn't sleep so slipped down to the bar and was told at 10:30 at night that they had to 'look for a reservation' for me? In the bar! We've stayed at The Bristol twice and for less money got much better service. We won't be staying at TFS Paris again. There are better luxury hotels in Paris with better service and are much less expensive. Hard pass.

We attempted twice to go to the bar here and were turned down for seating even when the bar was empty. The staff was extremely rude. I've stayed at Four Seasons all over the world and was shocked at the staff's rudeness. We were staying next door st the Prince de Gailles and swung in for a drink and an appetizer to check it out. When the bar is empty and staff tells you that you can't sit, it's an insult. I'm off the Four Seasons anywhere for good based upon these two bad interactions.

The hotel is living off of its legacy. We requested early check in and it was not available, okay fine but they let us sit around saying housekeeping was cleaning it for over two hours until the truth finally came out. Room service sent an actual cold carafe of coffee, not even lukewarm. There are doormen who stand outside but act as bouncers, not helpers. My daughter and I were returning on foot from the Eiffel Tower around midnight and I was blocked by the doorman who asked if I was "in residence," I said "yes," and he demanded to see my room key. Beyond rude. The hotel should treat their guests like they do their flowers, obsessively checking on them. The Ritz paris was a superior experience and even le meurice was better. Skip this tourist hotel, there's nothing spectacular about it except tge prices.

We always go to the George V bar for afternoon drinks and it's a great experience. Except the last 3 times which have been horrid. This last Sunday their €30 cocktail was served to me in a chipped and cracked glass. The chip was at the rim so I discovered it the hard way when I took a sip - no apology from the staff when I pointed it out. The staff have also suddenly started to allow people who are not hotel guests ONLY at the uncomfortable bar stools. All the other seating is apparently being saved for hotel guests (even if none of them come to the bar). As a result, the atmosphere is drab and dead... more a funeral home than a bar. What an utterly asinine "policy" to keep everything vacant rather than let outside guests who pay (as do hotel guests) use the sofas. We have moved our preferred venue to the Buddha Bar which, since 1996, has been consistently lively, elegant, and full of champagne served at the correct temperature. Whichever Saudi Arabian incompetent owner owns the George V hotel needs training in hospitality and how to hire proper staff.

Our stay was amazing!!! They really do go above and beyond. The service was simply impeccable. We traveled with our toddler and the hotel truly was very accommodating for children. They gifted our son a plush animal upon arrival and our room was stocked with all his needs (crib, baby soap, shampoo, diapers and even a rubber duck). The hotel is so beautiful and the rooms were so spacious! They had peonies everywhere and it was gorgeous!! The spa was also so wonderful! They had a good size pool and the facilities were very clean. It was a very relaxing environment.

The very first time I stayed at the George V, I remember snapping 100's of photos of the floral arrangements, in the lobby, the sitting rooms, on numerous tables...in our room. When I got home I got to work mimicking my own home arrangements so they were just as pretty. This gorgeous Paris hotel is centrally located and hands down has the absolute best service I've ever experienced. The decor is exquisite and tasteful - you can sit or stroll anywhere and enjoy some of the prettiest appointments around - polished, perfect and pristine. We enjoyed drinks at the bar too many times to count...the best part was listening to the bartender (or any staff member) share details of the hotels' history, it is rich. Can't say the George V is a bargain, you will pay a premium, but the service, the experience...the memories are worth the cost. If you aren't staying at the hotel, at least come in for tea, some delicious hot 'sipping' chocolate or a cocktail. A walk through the courtyard is quite lovely...as are meals there. Even those are memorable events! I always look forward to a stay here.

Four o' clock tea time is the best on earth!! Can't wait to go back!! I need some macallan amber with a splash of coke!

This place never disappoints! All views and rooms are spectacular. I think people should stay here at least once for a special occasion. The restaurant doesn't disappoint either! It's proximity to high-end shopping is steps away.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever seen! The decor is phenomenal- especially since we are here for New Year's Eve. The Christmas trees and everything are Magical. The staff is fantastic- I feel like a queen!

My favorite place to stay in Paris. Service is impeccable. They make a point of remembering your name upon check in and pass the information along so that wherever you go they refer to you by name as if there was a sign above your head. Relatively small for a Four Seasons. Felt like a luxurious boutique hotel to me. 2 star Michelin restaurant Le Cinq is onsite. Great upscale shopping within walking distance. Located in the George V neighborhood very close to the Champs - Eysees and around the corner from the Plaza Athenee which I also like a great deal. The George V is classier and more elegant in my opinion. The Plaza Athenee hipper and sexier. Much more pricier than Four Seasons hotels in America or even other places throughout Europe. I guess since its Paris. I read somewhere that the wealthy Americans stay at the Four Seasons V (why they let me stay I have no idea), Actors, artists, and musicians stay at the Plaza Athenee, and dignitaries stay at the Hotel Crillon (probably because of the close proximity). The Four Seasons George V is my top choice. Saving up to go back there again.

This place was a complete disappointment. My friend and I were celebrating a birthday and the staff was completely rude and dismissive. I was appalled at the way we were treated. I've stayed in The Four Seasons around the world and Paris was just the worst expierence I've ever had.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a week! This is a very special hotel located in the heart of Paris. What stood out more than anything else was the service at this hotel. The staff members went out of their way on multiple occasions to make sure we had the best honeymoon experience. Request a room with a terrace and a view of the Eiffel Tower if you can. It really gives you a more Parisian experience. We had our small dog with us and they brought him a bed, a carton of food and gave him a bottle of water every night for turn down. It was kind of adorable. They had a box of the most incredible chocolates in our room when we arrived as well as roses, and a bottle of champagne. Really made us feel special. We really enjoyed the lobby lounge. We had tea and the best hot chocolate ever a few times during our stay. They have a lovely pianist during the day and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays a jazz trio. The high tea looked really impressive. We ate at their three michelin star restaurant Le Cinq and it was a very elegant and memorable experience and deserves it's own review. The flowers in the lobby are quite a spectacle and some of the most famous in the world. The outdoor courtyard is a lovely place for lunch or dinner on a warm day. Worth checking out, even if just for a drink!

You want old money creme de la creme of hotels in Paris? Your looking to spend silly money and make it rain? Then this is your spot. Let's be honest it's a Four Season's Hotel - they had me at the words "Four Seasons". I'm not uppity, but I'm a girl, and I love hotels with fine linen and feeling like I am being spoiled beyond belief. Because that is what vacations are all about, but vacations in Paris should be just pure opulence ( in my ever so humble opinion). Rooms are insane, but so are the prices. Service was top notch as it should be and their bar/lounge was beautiful, dark rich woods, good mixed cocktails. At the Le Galerie Lounge they have a fantastic afternoon tea. And the most beautiful fresh flower displays upon entering the hotel. Even if your not staying at George V head here on a fancy night out for a cocktail or night cap!

This place is, as other yelpers have suggested,- the creme de la creme! The flowers in the lobby are spectacular but at the prices for rooms,- let's face it,- that's "chump change"! The bar area is a bit cramped and notorious for fabulous-looking escorts from all sorts of countries: Swedish, Russian, Asian...(American,- not so much!) I prefer the "casual" dining area if you can call it that: a (Louis IV style) "living-room" of over-stuffed sofa's, generously spaced tables and a soft ambiance setting piano being played in the background. If you're after the ultimate European luxury experience, you're going to have to pay for it: tea was $30+ (depends on the Euro)! Dinner will set you back a (high-end) car payment! The highest dress standards are assumed for patrons since you never know what dignitary or celebrity you'll run into: Tom Hanks was there promoting "Charlie Wilson's War" when I was there a couple of years ago (see pic @ profile).

I made arrangements for a huge reception during the Paris Air Show and the attention to detail and service was incredible. All of the planning was done over the phone and I heard nothing but great reviews from my clients, the highlight? They saw Oprah in the lobby! As for me, I was 38 weeks pregnant so could not make the flight-but the staff is so good, I didn't have to be there! Looking forward to staying there as a treat next time I'm in Paris!

My favourite place to stay while in Paris. This is where the Queen always stays while travelling in France and I think she knows something about luxury, would you agree? The most famous flower arrangements in the world were created here, Ill add some photos in a moment. Customer service beyond belief. Le Cinq is a Michelin starred restaurant and probably the most famous in the city. When I ate there the BEST sommelier in the world chose my wine for me. A huge honour. Thank you George V!!!!!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We had an awesome stay on the tail end of our trip to France this past June. Everyone has said it, but I'll say it again. Staff is unbelievable, from the check-in, to the restaurant, room service, even the electricians (yeah we blew a a fuse), just incredibly nice and accommodating. The flowers are amazing. Huge colorful arrangements in the lobby. The restaurant just off the lobby has a tasteful waterfall with strings of purple orchids overhead and in the fountain. It was really lovely. Perfect location. Quiet street, yet close to the Champs Elysees and the Seine (went for an easy morning run over the Seine to the Eiffel Tower.) Stay here If you can afford it, you will love it!

Upscale choice offering elegant rooms and suites, an acclaimed restaurant and a wellness spa. Security is organized and well selected. Documents and delivery assistance were provided on schedule and secure. Concierge recommendations were incredible, miraculously provided reservations not available elsewhere.

I've stayed at about 50 different Four Seasons hotels around the world and for a very long time this was definitely my favourite city hotel (eventually I changed my mind when I stayed at the Florence four seasons location. I highly recommend.). That does not mean my favourite resort, resorts would be a tossup between Costa Rica, Bali, any of the four locations in Hawaii, or Santa Monica. The staff and restaurants and location and history at Paris are all above and beyond and out of this world. They will absolutely make you feel like a king or queen, and by the way you might be meeting both when you stay at the hotel; frequently when I was waiting to talk to the concierge and there was somebody ahead of me in line,When they were leaving the concierge would say to them "thank you have a good day your highness". Literally this is where the king of Saudi Arabia and the queen of England stay when they are in Paris, even PuffDiddy was staying w us. I even shared an elevator with the movie star Tobey Maguire who plays Spiderman. Even though I knew from many interviews with him that he is extremely prickly and hates talking to the general public I guess the hotel buttered him up and put him in a good mood because I made a point of telling him I was a big fan and we chatted about Paris for a while..... at one point I happened to mention to the concierge that I love the smell of the bed sheets and when we returned to our room there was a free large bottle of expensive Parisian linen water which is what they spray on the pillows and sheets before the weary tourists rest their heads. I've used linen water almost every day since that day and I honestly believe it actually helps me sleep, all thanks to the fabulous concierge and staff at this hotel! The concierge was also nice enough to frequently call us the hotel car for free which was a half $1 million Maybach. I've never even been in a Maybach before and it was unbelievable. Such luxury! The location is right on the Champs Dalliser within walking distance of the best retail shopping in Paris and the Arc de Triomphe and best of all our gorgeous hotel room had a great view of the Eiffel tower which twinkles every hour all night. It was probably the most romantic time in my entire life other than my honeymoon which was also a two week stay at a different four seasons. The restaurant Le Cinq has two Michelin stars which as everybody knows is almost impossible to achieve. We treated ourselves to a dinner there and it took over three hours and it was worth every penny ($1400) and every second. The staff even give the ladies a little beautiful bench to rest their purses so their purses don't have to sit on the ground God forbid. The meal was outstanding and my husband chose a five course prize fix but I wanted only a small appetizer and an entrée. Rather than have me sit around with nothing to eat and just watch him eat, each time they brought him an additional course they served me a smaller portion of the same food for free. Is thatCustomer service or what? The Sommelier who served our wine literally is the number one sommelier in the world. After the meal the staff printed out a copy of the menu of the food Including a detailed list of the spectacular wines that we sampled as we had mentioned that we appreciated them so much and wanted to purchase some before we left so we could always remember what a blissful beautiful evening we had...... I will include photos here.....Afterwards we just walked hand-in-hand up and down the Champs Dellisier try to work off some of those calories and drink in the view and the beautiful weather and mild temperatures. I felt like we were in the woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris.......My only teeny tiny criticism would be for the first evening we asked the concierge to recommend a good restaurant in Montmartre and we ended up in a dingy dark hole with no other customers- a terrible restaurant it was the worst meal of the trip by far. Therefore I am pretty sure there was some kickback happening there are perhaps his family owned it? But other than that everything was perfect perfect perfect.

I was here for coffee in the afternoon. After a little shock because of the price (15€, and this was the first day in this area , so I didn't know that was average) I was pleasantly surprised. The waiter took care of our coats, brought 2 Madeleines, 2 chocolates and Evian and also explained us something about the history of the beautiful room we were in. I would totally come again, coffee was only ok, but our waiter was so friendly and communicative, the sweets were great and the location is just stunning. Definitely worth it:)

You say you have more money than you can count? That time stands still at your command? That you are free to move from country to country, realm to realm, experience to experience? Okay, get a pen and write this down: Once, in your sweet, short life, you must stay at the George V. You will never forget, regret or stop talking about that one perfect decision. It was Eisenhower's headquarters during the liberation. The Beatles were photographed having their pillow fight here. For a few thousand dollars you can make your own memories here. How many ways do they corner the market in hospitality? Is it that, once you've arrived everyone (and I really do mean every last single staff member) addresses you by name? Is it the volcanic displays of fresh cut flowers that greet you in the lobby every morning? (I'm getting kinda misty just remembering those flowers; I nearly rubbed my eyes, as you would if witnessing something that is not quite possible.) For a "landmark" birthday, I took my wife here as a surprise. She knew we were going to Paris (that's a bit hard to conceal) but not that we were staying at the Four Seasons. I was asked during booking if we would like a car from the airport. Sure, I guess. Yeah, go ahead, pick us up. Well. A hotel representative met us at the door of the plane. Not at the curb. Not at baggage claim. On. The. Jetway. As the door opened, she greeted us (by name) and asked for our passports. We waltzed past the serpentine of arriving passengers waiting to clear customs; she handed our passports to the guard and we were at the car. (The first of several times rubbing my eyes in amazement...) I had booked a room on the lower floors, as the upper floors are a mortgage payment per night; when the host took us in the elevator up, up, up, I panicked. I can't AFFORD the upper floors... "Oh, no, when we found we'd missed your wife's birthday by two days, we upgraded you to a suite." Okay, sure. That makes sense. And, sure, that cake you made for her? And the champagne? That's just common decency. Miss HER birthday? I think NOT. Heaven. It is as close to living as a king or head of state, having a staff of hundreds at my beck and call as I'll ever get. I chose the George V over the Ritz, over Crillon, over everything. You should too.

Kate: Do you speak English? Concierge: Of course, Madam. This is the George V, not some backpacker's hovel. If you are a woman who was born in the late 70s or early 80s, I don't need to tell you that this was an amazing scene from the seminal classic "French Kiss". This is pretty much all you need to know about the George V. Also, you should know, unless you have like a ridiculous sum of money, you probably won't be staying here in Grand ol' Paris. I stayed here once, when one of my more decadent friends got married here. It was fan-bloody-tastic. Here is a tip, though. They have the most gorgeous flower arrangements in the world. It is perfectly OK to go through the lobby of the George V, every tourist does it. They also offer a great tea service, which goes without saying, is incredibly expensive, but if you want one little taste of the George V that has made it famous, I would experience it. The bar is also beautiful and international. It is certainly a must-see in Paris, and, if you get a HUGE bonus, by all means stay here.

I have had the good fortune of staying here a few times and always with the same result - magnificent. The attention to detail, elegance, service and refinement are really hard to explain or justify in a Yelp review. The flower arrangements in the lobby are amazing, done by a true artiste! My favorite story about this hotel was when I was a kid, staying with my family. It was early morning and we were all getting ready. Now, before I proceed with this story, there is one thing to help you understand, in Paris the chamber service who clean your rooms will knock on the door, while at the same time inserting their key to unlock your door. This results in little to no time to let them know you don't want to be disturbed, if you happen to be in your room. This particular morning my brother was changing into his clothes when we heard a knock upon the door literally as it was being opened. Both the maid and my brother were shocked as he stood their in his tightie whities. She immediately said in a rushed voice, "Excusez-moi" and quickly shut the door. My brother, incensed said, "How rude!" He thought she was being smart, as if she was saying " well, excuuuuuuuseeeee meeeeee." We tease him about that to this day. It is one of my father's favorite stories...

I don't even know how to review a four seasons, much less the four seasons on George V in Paris. It has to be as good as it gets. I stayed hear for five nights. My motto for France in general but especially for this hotel is it is "wonderful, but over the top." If you like over the top...then its for you! From the people that greet you at the door, to the magnificent flower arrangements, the fountains outside, the rooms...its seriously one of the most beautiful places to stay. Though I don't have many four seasons experiences to compare it to, I think that it is uniquely parisian. I had the pleasure of arriving at night, when it was already dark outside, and the lobby was lit up with hundreds of candles and flowers. The room is done in french country...not that crazy King Louis style...it had soft colors and was amazing but not pretentious. Actually the entire hotel has that feel...over the top but not pretentious. The breakfast and room service are great here, though will cost you quadruple what you will spend by walking out your door...and honestly there are so many places within a few blocks that there isn't a whole lot of reasons to get all of your meals inside your hotel. The service is quick and efficient. The people that clean the room are attentive and detail oriented. And the spa was nice as well. Though I may be slightly allergic to fancy, because I got a rash from the nice bath products... My favorite thing, when I got back one afternoon the maid had put a cute little four seasons paris book mark in my book where I had folded the corner on the page. It does't get much better than that!

In Paris, it does not get better than this. The welcome, the flowers, the neighborhood and the food are simply sublime. The tapestry in the dining room is a beautiful work of art. I enjoy wandering the hotel and appreciating all of the art. They describe the special tapestries in their lobby menu. And the service is world class. When I was here earlier this year in May, it was during the Kanye-Kim wedding weekend and there were paparazzi in the streets and lined up across from the entrance to the hotel. It was crazy. Well - the team at the hotel still made our experience seem natural / making us feel special and cared for the same as the celebs - no different. When I come to Paris, I love being here to enjoy the ambiance and to people watch. The breakfast is delicious. Their afternoon tea is one of my favorites in the world. Their lychee martini is my special happy hour treat and I enjoy having it in the garden or in the luxurious bar area. It may be expensive, but somehow, it is worth it. One last note, the Concierge team is top notch too! They always manage to get me the best reservations around town and they prepare a nice signed letter for me to present so it is clear to take the very best care of me and my guests. I like their style! 5 star +++

You dont get better than the Georges V. From the moment you enter, you notice just how immaculate, beautiful and tasteful it is. The food is spectacular, the drinks strong and the bar, loaded with the clientele you would expect: Arab and Russian billionaires, actors and all their hangers on.

After a morning of shopping, we wanted to have lunch at George V, because we knew we would have not only a good meal but impeccable service, and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food fabulous, but the piano player played all of our favorite American songs. We felt right at home. At one point, I asked our server if we could request "The Way We Were". She asked the piano player, and it appeared he wasn't quite familiar with the tune, so he took a short break, Googled it, and came back and played it for us. Can you believe that? We also asked our server about a good pet boutique which he wasn't sure of, so he asked other hotel staff for recommendations and came back with the name of a fabulous place for us to visit. Oh...yes...the food was absolutely the best. I would say the best lunch we had in Paris. Yes, it was the most expensive lunch we had in Paris, but worth every penny. And although tipping isn't required at Parisian restaurants, we left a hefty tip for the server and the piano player because they were worth it. And it was fashion week in Paris, so the Four Seasons had a beautiful display of dresses by Elie Saab in their lobby. Looking gorgeous and glamorous, as the Four Seasons should be, and always is. C'est Magnifique!

I stay here every time for the Couture shows as Riccardo Tischi is a friend and always helps me get a very good room. The result is always top notch and truly magnificent. The attention to every small detail, the conceriege service, elegance, I'll bet most reviewers on here never even stayed here, they just come for tea and dream. Ha ha. Really? As if this hotel cares or needs this service, but I thought I'd give them a review as a real paying guest over the last 20 years. Impeccable elegance.
