I went in today with a very difficult problem with my feet with my upcoming surgery and having difficulty walking, All I can say is Julie who dealt with me was outstanding, very patient and so understanding- literally the best assistant I have ever dealt with- there was no pressure to buy just a huge knowledge of the product to help me - Julie deserves a medal for putting up with me and my problem!! Thankyou so much Julie- I entered the store stressed and anxious and walked out a happier person

Just waited patiently for 25 mins of my 60 min lunch break to be helped with hiking boots to be ignored for a customer who just walked in the door. When asking if the person was available to help me I was told to wait as they were serving someone else first. Not impressed.

Felt compelled to write this review as the level of service in George Fisher yesterday was exceptional! Went in for a pair of walking boots, Chris measured my feet and foot arch. He suggested 3 options based on what my initial requirements were. His level of expertise was remarkable, he was really patient when I went back and forth with my decision making, spent lots of time with me even though the shop was rammed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

One of the best outdoor stores in the country with SUPERB customer service. Went in today to buy a pair of Altberg boots; they didn’t have them in stock but were happy to direct me to a competitor’s store 5 mins away who had them. This really is going beyond the call of duty — well done!

Ok, service, but here's the rub. We brought a waterproof jacket on there site but it was too small so there internet site said if this happens to just go back to there shop to change it, which we did but we expected a quick exchange but what they did was a refund then another new sale which meant we are out of pocket until we get the refund back...Very stange way of doing business.
