Best gelato I’ve indulged in, mega generous portions and good value and quality. Obsessed with the molten chocolate and whip cream options, and the staff are kind enough to suggest flavor combinations and advise on choices. Will be back for the mug desserts!

An amazing gelato experience! Velvety and thick with a multitude of flavours to satisfy any palate. One of the few places in Rome where one can find a table to enjoy your gelato as well. The service was friendly and the server explained to us, in English, what some of the flavours were. La Romana has a few other branches in Rome but since this was away from the popular tourist spots it was a bit less crowded.

Amazing gelato, piccolo is €3 and you can get chocolate in the cone, 2 flavors and whipped cream on top. It's not piccolo at all. Gelato is creamy and not greasy, and they let you taste test before deciding. It's a must visit when in Rome.

Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend in every way possible. Best gelato by far and anyone that says otherwise, bring them and have them listen to who is standing in the line… all Italians because they know it is the best place in Rome. Do not miss out on this one

The ice cream is delicious, but this was the worst service we've ever had. We didn't know that we couldn't open the fridge and take it yourself, we are tourists, there was no warning about that. Nobody answered us either. When we went to pay, we were insulted and they were very rude. Tourists cannot guess certain things. I felt really bad, I wouldn’t recommend this place, it was a very bad experience.

Crema dal 1947 is a must to try (cream with custard and lemon zest). Classic that is not really available in other gelaterias. Croccante della nonna is a perfect combination of almond, cream and caramel. It was all heaven. Middle sized cone is 3 flavours and costs 3,5 euros which is very reasonable price for gelato this tasty.

One of my favorite ice cream in the city! For more than 3 years I’m going to Romana and it is always delicious 🤤 This is a new location for me and it’s very nice and quiet. They have new flavor which became my favorite: Salted Caramel. Super cool 😎

The pistachio pesto flavour was amazing. Really nice quality gelato and clean store.
