Was excited to visit this shop with my partner and went into the menswear section over the road before this where we had a lovely relaxed shopping experience. Sadly, we didn’t have the same experience in the woman’s section. It has a brilliant array of clothing from brands you don’t normally see in Scotland, but we were immediately met by a frosty reception from one of the shop attendants who asked if we needed any help (in the least helpful way). She stared us down the whole time we were in the shop (despite there being others in the shop) and blocked us from looking at racks of clothing by noticeably standing in the way of them. We felt very singled out. Despite this, I took a couple of photos of some items of clothing to send to my mum as my birthday is coming up and I thought I could ask for something in this shop, I was then asked very bluntly if I was taking photos and I said yes, not realising there was anything wrong with doing this. The shop lady angrily explained that they don’t let people take photos because sometimes they’ll go and search for the clothing for cheap somewhere else. I’d genuinely never thought of doing that until she said it and due to the uncomfortable and rude experience we had in the shop I now will be purchasing the items that I liked for much less, direct from the seller. I would suggest if you don’t want photos taken in the shop, then put some very evident signs up about this. I’m a small business myself and understand the frustrations of it but there’s a lot to be said for treating people with kindness and not assuming the worst of them. I had a voucher to spend from my husband and had a lovely shopping experience today. The two sales assistants were patient, friendly and happy to offer advice. I am delighted with my new Scottish Wool cardigan. I might have to go back for some other bits too.

It pains me to say that this used to be my favorite boutique in Edinburgh, and I was a loyal customer, spending a minimum of £400 over the past year. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. The platinum blonde middle-aged attendant’s rude behavior and the unfavorable changes in the shopping experience have tarnished what was once a cherished shopping destination for me. She abruptly took away the jumpsuit I tried before I had finished taking my own trousers on, making me feel quite offended. She did ask me if I was done trying them on, but didn't ask me if I wanted the jumpsuit. When I attempted to communicate that I wished to purchase the outfit despite some flaws, her attitude was condescending, implying a lack of respect for my purchasing capability. This shop is lovely, and the selection is great. Although a friendly lady greeted me warmly when I entered, encountering such a rude staff member saddened me, and I'm hesitant to visit again. I believe it's reasonable for staff to check on customers during the extended process of trying on clothes, but barging in before the customer is fully dressed is clearly unreasonable. It's offensive, and her attitude shows a complete lack of respect for a customer's right to try on clothes undisturbed. I respect that this store's pricing is not low, which aligns well with its selection, and I find it affordable. However, the condition is that the quality of the clothing matches the price, and the design and service are satisfactory. There are other customers in the reviews who share similar experiences with me, and I believe this is not baseless. My previous shopping experiences were positive, but today's was exceptionally poor. I hope you take this seriously; otherwise, you might lose potential customers.

The sale assistant with peach hair has set a new standard for awful customer service: she combines a lack of assistance, rudeness and cutting remarks. The shop is lovely, however, this obnoxious individual made it a truly terrible experience, making me feel like by visiting the shop she was a doing me massive favour, never offered help nor greeted me, left a degrading comment on my appearance and implied that I’m unable to afford the items in the shop. It felt like a scene from “Pretty Woman”. I wish that I could give this place zero starts.

My favourite store in Edinburgh. Stock hard to find brands. My latest purchase was a H-Unit fleece, which is fantastic, light and soft but super warm. Highly recommend! Owners are fab as well. Will be in for a LF Markey boilersuit next.

This shop is such a find! Wonderful collection of brands. Really friendly team on hand to help with sizing and styling advice. Thanks guys, I’m delighted with my purchases and will be back!

Extremely cool clothing shop! Very unique pieces with brands you can’t find elsewhere in Edinburgh. It’s very expensive but you get uniqueness. The shop assistant was lovely and very helpful.

Lovely clothing. My friend and I were, initially, really enjoying trying the clothes and deciding what to buy. Sadly, we decided to leave without buying as one of the staff was quite rude and made us feel unwelcome, as if we were being a nuisance for trying things on. I can understand being anxious around Covid and wanting to keep stock clean, but it made no sense to approach us 15 minutes into the visit and make a snarky comment about having to quarantine the clothes and imply we were wasting her time. If it is a problem for customers to try on clothes, this should be explained at the start and not mentioned later to make customers feel guilty or frivolous. The other sales assistant was very friendly and helpful, I am disappointed for her that the visit ended on a sour note and without a purchase.
