"West Town’s big-game restaurant and bar features 10-pound, 15-pound, and even 20-pound smoked turkeys — cooked and hot — for to-go Thanksgiving, as well as sides portioned for ten people each, such as mac and cheese, sweet potato pie, string beans, and gravy by the quart. Place pre-orders via Tock for pickup on Wednesday, November 27, or Thanksgiving Day." - Eater Staff
"Ok, hear us out: Frontier is closed for dine-in on Thanksgiving. That said, they are available to host your Friendsgiving dinner all November long. The family-style menu includes smoked turkey, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato pie, and basically anything else that you love about actual Thanksgiving. The meal: Family-style, $39 per person (six-person minimum)" - adrian kane, veda kilaru
"Comfort food goes hogwild at this Noble Square restaurant and bar. Chef Brian Jupiter’s whole animal service is a must for larger parties and includes a selection of wild boar, alligator, free-range pig, and goat. A medley of crowd-pleasing sides accompanies the proteins, along with the option to add desserts and pitchers of cocktails. Make a reservation through OpenTable." - Samantha Nelson, Eater Staff
"Looking for something on the wild side? You've come to the right spot. With menu items like turtle bolognese, duck tacos, and alligator scallopini (all delicious), you're bound to try something you can tell all your friends about. Speaking of friends, if you have enough of them, you can hang out on their patio and order off their Whole Animal Service menu, which includes things like Free Range Pig, Alligator, Wild Boar, and Lollipop Short Ribs, just to name a few. The stylish lodge atmosphere here is great, with a patio that can be used in the summer or winter, thanks to a nice over-sized fireplace, as well as an outdoor beer garden, and plenty of tv's if you're looking to watch sports! TIP - If you like oysters, you can enjoy them for $1 on weekdays from 4-6pm, along with beer and cocktail specials." - Serafini Creative
"As the name suggests, this place has a theme—it’s decorated like a cabin from the 1800s, and there’s a lot of game on the menu. The all-weather outdoor area at Frontier in West Town will protect you from the elements, which is more than we can say about the poor pioneers who lived on the actual frontier. And while you will find things like antelope and elk on the menu, thankfully their commitment to the theme stops there since pioneers didn’t have hand sanitizer. Or air conditioning." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, john ringor
