"Frogmore Creek Overlooking the Coal River Valley, Barilla Bay, and the vineyards that produce the winery's award-winning rieslings, sauvignon blancs,and other cool-climate varietals, Frogmore Creek is also home to a restaurant you can write home about, open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Here you can pair the star of the most recent wine harvest with colorful dishes such as beef tataki with horseradish gnocchi or cured yellowtail kingfish sweetened by seaweed and soy caramel, apple, and pomegranate. Edible flowers and bright sauce droplets create art on the plate. But the real masterpieces are the desserts. If “chess mate” and “lemon basil legos” are on the menu, order both. In late 2017, Frogmore Creek opened a second restaurant inside theMACq 01 building on the Hobart waterfront."

Booked a wine tasting and lunch in this lovely winery . Really hard to get a table on weekends so better book in advance 🍷 Wonderful atmosphere , beautiful winery and friendly staff. My only regret was the cost and taste of the food. The food looked gorgeous in the photo however the taste was just ok. I would skip the restaurant and do the wine tasting if you feel strongly about going like I did Overall highly recommend this spectacular vineyard on your next outing to Richmond.

Nice environment, pretty crowded so reservation is a must. We had lamb (average) pork belly (good) and Arancini (average) the wine was good, but the price nearly doubled when you drink it in the restaurant.

Gorgeous setting along the Coal River amongst the vineyards, the restaurant is excellent. Local produce is showcased beautifully via small- medium tasting plates with the lamb backstrap a standout Honourable mention goes to the arancini (6 x small balls per serve) and the scallops ($8 each) which although tiny for the price were exquisite . Strong wine list from the vineyard with beautiful sparkling and good Pinot

Each time we visit Hobart, stopping by Frogmore Creek Cellar Door & Restaurant is a must. They never disappoint, and each time we dine there, we feel at our happiest with the food they serve, the impeccable hospitality by the staff, and the gorgeous scenery of their vineyard. We celebrated our anniversary here with stunning food, best meals for us that made the day even more memorable. I can tell you that whatever you choose from the menu, it is divine. So if you are coming in with a group of friends, I recommend get two of each (entree, land and sea) - it’s worth every penny, I promise. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone thinking of going to Hobart for holidays. We absolutely love Frogmore Creek Cellar Door and Restaurant. We are fans for life! 🥰

Delicious wine. The Riesling and pinot noir were my favourites. We had some lovely cheeses and accompanying snacks. Lovely views. A warm fireplace, and plenty of spaces to sit indoors to escape the cold. Gift shop with variety of options.

Lovely winery. Great service. Dan who was part of the restaurant team was great in attempting to manage some dietary requirements. Shame the menu can’t really accommodate many dietary requirements. Might be nice to have a simple (boring) fish like Salmon and greens for those can’t have some of the more sophisticated food. Highly recommend however 👌🏼
