Fritz Coffee Company, Dohwa

When we reached back at our hotel, all 3 kids had gone under the weather.. FML! Lucky for us, it was not that serious and we got some food for them to eat in the comfort of hotel room. Eventually both the adults became restless - so we decided to explore cafe scene nearby our hotel. After making sure that the kids were good, we took a stroll towards Fritz Coffee Company. To our delight, the cafe was located in a standalone house unit amidst skyscrapers around it. The exterior and interior were mixture of both old and new design and it was very cosy inside. Fresh pastries were replenished from time to time - and both of us took some time to relax our mind and soul with coffee and coffee bun, while taking photos at the same time. Walked back to our hotel happily after rejuvenating our mood.

This is a gem of a coffee shop that I’ve loved going back to again and again since its opening of this first location just over 10 years ago. 🥹 Amazing to see how it has blossomed by opening multiple branches in Seoul as well as leveling up their merchandises. However, their pastries and coffees have stayed ever delightful and scrumptious (their scones are my personal absolute favs). Note that it can be busy with a lot of tourists and visitors, but hopefully it won’t deter you as it is still worth a try for sure!

Great pastries. You smelled the butter in their baking as you enter and the coffee was a great complement. Fun surroundings and this place was one of our favorite stops in Seoul.

Two stories so lots of space and they have fresh pastries every thirty minutes with my favorite being the Nutella one. Their drinks are good and they have bathrooms.

Really nice place to grab a bite & coffee Scones, chocolate scones and blueberry pastry were good Pastries are made fresh in the basement, and change through the day/night Atmosphere and decor are excellent Service is the highlight - outstanding Will support you!

This cafe seemed promising with their coffee machine and selling of individual coffee beans packs. I was however slightly disappointed. The coffee was quite average, albeit with standards higher than other coffee shops in Seoul. We tried the long black, flat white and latte with oat milk. Long black was the best of the three. Flat white wasn’t great. They probably used the same beans as the black coffees, which are lighter roast and less bitter, which paired with milk isn’t really working.

The best coffee I visited during my last trip to South Korea. Went there like 4 times and every time had a different coffee. The bets for me was a coffee fro Nicaragua however other also were very nice. On the top of that tried some pastry with blueberries and cheese and well, heaven on earth. During my last visit got also some Nespresso capsules, coffee cup and espresso cup and coffee was great. Will definitely come back here next time I visit Korea.
