Such a cool place to shop when In the area and they are even here late! Came here based on a drivers recommendation and so glad we did! Found some new jewelry, gifts and art items to buy! You can buy here and shop then venture down the street for good drinks, places, bars and hang outs!

Absolutely love the Frenchmen Street Market- it’s one of my favorite spots in NOLA and a place I keep coming back to! The vibe is lively and welcoming and I love the twinkling lights. Perfect place to find a unique gift or souvenir to take home. Big shout out to Bad Dog Books a frequent vendor and creative artist. Check out their one of a kind, hand made book earrings. So fun and totally original!

This is such a cool and chill place to stroll through when also catching great music. The variety of vendors and quality of items never disappoint. Especially since it all comes from local artists and craftspeople. Of particular note was Bad Dog Books, a vendor that sells hand crafted calendars and journals (really high end), as well as minirature book earrings (so cool). Everyone should put it on their list to stop by when in New Orleans.

In a little alleyway tucked into Frenchman Street, the Frenchmam Art Bazaar has some beautiful and authentic NOLA art! It's a great vibe with some of the friendliest vendors!

My favorite part of Frenchmen Street! Over a dozen local artisans displaying their craft every night of the week. Highly recommend stopping here if you're looking for quality gifts and souvenirs. I spent a few hours here over a couple of evenings during my recent trip to New Orleans. Got to enjoy live music from street musicians (don't forget to tip!), had a poem typed up for me while I waited (around the corner) and Hung out in the artist's market getting to know lots of kind, fun, and talented people.

The Frenchmen Art Bazaar is a lovely little pocket of creativity tucked just off the main drag — a small but charming collection of vendor-created art, jewelry, trinkets, and handmade goods. The vibe is warm, and the selection reflects New Orleans’ eclectic spirit. You’ll find everything from quirky prints to handcrafted pieces that make great gifts or souvenirs. I just wish there had been more to it — not a complaint, just an observation. A couple of vendors were engaging and made an effort to connect, which was appreciated. It’s definitely worth a walk-through if you’re nearby, but it’s more of a quick stop than a full outing.

Yelp
A variety of local artists vend here many weeknights, usually starting at 7 pm and ending at midnight. They're also here most weekends. The space itself is perfect - sort of a long alley - and artists line both sides. Handmade jewelry (be sure to check out Deadly Dapper's butterfly creations), paintings, sculpture, soaps, funny caps...I even had a mini makeover here with a makeup artist who offers glitter lipsticks and eyeshadows for a donation to a local women's shelter. I felt so glam and bought a tube to bring home - a great memory and souvenir! You might find something you didn't know you needed - like the Glittershitter toilet seats, featuring Elvis, the Golden Girls, many musicians & celebrities. Hilarious! A perfect New Orleans experience.

Yelp
Love walking around this area. Always inspired by art and artists around me. Can't help myself and buy a bunch of stuff to put in my place. The weirder the better.

Yelp
Short Review: Cute little section on Frenchmen Street dedicated to artists selling their wares. A nice reprieve from the jazz clubs, and something to do between sets. Long Review: We went walking down Frenchmen Street looking for another jazz club and stumbled across this art bazaar. It wasn't really that bizarre, though... it was amazing! Artists and vendors were from all categories and each was very personable too. It's open every night from 6pm-12am so it's great for those for whom this is their side hustle. Love the original paintings, skincare, accessories, stickers and installations. Please support the local artists!
