Frenchmen Art Bazaar

Such a cool place to shop when In the area and they are even here late! Came here based on a drivers recommendation and so glad we did! Found some new jewelry, gifts and art items to buy! You can buy here and shop then venture down the street for good drinks, places, bars and hang outs!

So glad we went here! Took a 20 minute walk from bourbon street and it was worth it. The local artists work the booths and we bought lots of gorgeous art. Very glad we fought the bear and did this. They also have some instagram scenes to post. Such a cool venue!

The art market was pretty small compared to others I've seen, but it was cute (lots of pretty hanging lights above) and all the vendors were so nice.

Great art market with many local artists. There is variety in types of artwork being sold. It was amazing to see NOLA inspired artwork!

We had a great time perusing artist's booths between music clubs, and even found a few things we couldn't live without. I love that it's open all night and part of the whole scene on Frenchmen Street.

GO HERE AND BUY ART! You won’t regret it, so much variety and talent. It’s a feast for the eyes as well as an opportunity to pick up really cool originals, prints, jewelry, books, and more!

I spent way too much money here but love every purchase

We were happy to learn that the art bazaar night market is open daily. So many great local artists and a variety of crafts. We went two evenings and some booths were there one evening and not the other, so it’s worth checking out more than once.

A variety of local artists vend here many weeknights, usually starting at 7 pm and ending at midnight. They're also here most weekends. The space itself is perfect - sort of a long alley - and artists line both sides. Handmade jewelry (be sure to check out Deadly Dapper's butterfly creations), paintings, sculpture, soaps, funny caps...I even had a mini makeover here with a makeup artist who offers glitter lipsticks and eyeshadows for a donation to a local women's shelter. I felt so glam and bought a tube to bring home - a great memory and souvenir! You might find something you didn't know you needed - like the Glittershitter toilet seats, featuring Elvis, the Golden Girls, many musicians & celebrities. Hilarious! A perfect New Orleans experience.

Love walking around this area. Always inspired by art and artists around me. Can't help myself and buy a bunch of stuff to put in my place. The weirder the better.

Short Review: Cute little section on Frenchmen Street dedicated to artists selling their wares. A nice reprieve from the jazz clubs, and something to do between sets. Long Review: We went walking down Frenchmen Street looking for another jazz club and stumbled across this art bazaar. It wasn't really that bizarre, though... it was amazing! Artists and vendors were from all categories and each was very personable too. It's open every night from 6pm-12am so it's great for those for whom this is their side hustle. Love the original paintings, skincare, accessories, stickers and installations. Please support the local artists!
