"The city has lots of under-an-hour museums to explore between meals, but our favorite is the immersive Fly Over Iceland, which simulates air travel over the entire country (fun for all ages if you don't get carsick)."

Our experience at FlyOver Iceland was amazing and definitely was a higlight of my trip. To be honest I didn't know what to expect at the beginning. They take your picture as later you can buy it when exiting museum. First part is introduction and legends "come to life". After that is done you go to the simulation flight over Iceland most iconic landscapes and places. It is full experience with motion and sound as well as water splashing when needed. I really do recommend it as it is worth it. Maybe better to visit at the end of your trip as you can recognize most of the places you already visited. At least for me it was better that way. Truly unique experience 👌 that I would do again.

This is a fly over the beautiful landscapes of Iceland through the seasons. Before the actual ride, there are 2 additional segments of large screens where we get a look of Icelandic life style and an introduction to Trolls. While the rise is much like the Disney fly over ride, there is a grand finale of fireworks. We had a good experience.

FlyOver Iceland is one of my best experiences so far. I visited the place not knowing what to expect as it was a surprise planned by my partner. Oh boy! What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. I loved the 5D, motion seating that gives you the feeling of flight. Virtually it takes you for a tour of iceland. I had goosebumps and I screamed with joy like a kid. It was fun! I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing experience at FlyOver Iceland—it’s truly a must-do if you’re visiting Reykjavík. From the very beginning, you’re immersed in a breathtaking journey across Iceland’s most stunning landscapes. The feeling of flying, combined with special effects like wind, mist, and natural scents, makes the whole experience feel incredibly real. It’s like soaring over glaciers, waterfalls, and black sand beaches… a truly unforgettable, multi-sensory adventure. I also want to give special recognition to Maria, whose outstanding customer service made everything even better. She was incredibly professional, well-educated, polite, and genuinely kind. You could tell she knew the attraction inside and out, and she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her attention to detail and warm attitude really stood out. FlyOver Iceland perfectly blends cutting-edge technology with the natural magic of Iceland. Highly recommended!

Good activity for a rainy day if you have younger kids. They don't tell you that the FlyOver Iceland ticket also includes two pre-shows which I found to be uninformative and uninteresting. The actual ride itself was enjoyable and showed parts of Iceland that I've never seen after living here for two years. There were some beautiful shots but the transitions were jarring and you got spray with mist too much. Of the similarly priced tourist attractions this was my least favorite, but if you have time and money to kill and don't want to leave the city then it's not a bad option.

A « must do » while you are in Iceland and in Reykjavik. The show is very nice. The video of the country during the show is mind blowing! The show after the show is nice too. I recommend this attraction > good weather to fly above Iceland guarantee > cheaper than a real helicopter flight (even an helicopter flight has fantastic sensations too!)

A wonderful experience. I advise everyone to visit it. You feel as if you are flying over Iceland and seeing its beauty, rivers and seas. It deserves more than five stars.

My brother and I had this recommended to us by our hotel. It was fantastic. There are a few walk through sets with a unique 3d presentation as an intro to the ride. The rude itself is like a 4dx movie, except you are suspended in front of the wrap around screen for full immersion. The fly over footage was incredible and exhilarating!
