Flora Chiado Apartments

I’m convinced this is the best place to stay in Lisbon! The front desk is super helpful in setting up excursions, and making the stay as comfortable as possible. It was so quiet for being in the central part of the city. We loved the bread delivery placed on our door every morning, and the goodies that are put in the fridge. We would definitely stay here again! One of our favorite places we have stayed in all of our travels.

What a spectacular hotel/VRBO/Residence. |Not sure exactly what category it fell under but the location and loft like two bedroom we had were perfect. Plus a specacular kitchen, near all the fun stuff. If you're looking for a spot in Lisbon and traveling with another family or have kids this is the spot. |No pool, no parking, no restaurant, no matter. We loved it.

The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We had the two story unit which gave everyone some much needed privacy (and so helpful to have an extra toilet on the first floor of the unit). The breakfast foods were delicious, and we loved having a huge quantity and variety of fruit for fresh squeezed juice daily. We were there over the holidays, and the unit was decorated and they brought an amazing king cake for the family, The real selling point is the amazing staff who had recommendations for everything from shopping and touring to dining (so many amazing vegetarian restaurants nearby). It's an understandably very popular place so book it if at all possible! You won't regret staying here!!

We had a very stressful trip to Lisbon. Our passports and luggage were stolen just before we arrived at the hotel, and the staff at Flora Chiado (especially Liliana and Marco) we’re absolutely incredible. They were so kind, welcoming, and helpful during a really stressful time. They ensured we had everything we needed, and generously held our apartment for the entire week while we figured out our passport situation with the embassy. The apartment was lovely but the service was the real reason I would highly recommend staying here.

We just enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay at the Flora Chiado Apartments. As a family of four with two adult kids we try to give ourselves some space when we travel together, and given generally smaller rooms—even suites, in Europe, I was planning to book two hotel rooms for each night until I came across the Flora Chiado Apartments. We were fortunate to be able to stay in 3D, the T2 Duplex - a 2 story unit with 2 bedrooms each with its own full bathroom up, and on the main floor of the unit a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, an extra half bath and outdoor terrace. The unit was extremely nice, very comfortable, and well decorated. I do not need to stay in the nicest, most expensive hotels when I travel but I also travel frequently for work and am very picky about the places I stay in and frankly keep very high standard (20 years ago I stopped believing in the “hey its ok Im only in there when I sleep”). The refrigerator was also partially stocked—fruits, cheese, meats, milk, water (morning bread service was great), plus additional charge minibar items. The cost was much less than two rooms at a nice hotel in the same area for much more space and an overall better experience with high quality hotel service benefits — luggage storage, front desk service and concierge capability, daily unit cleaning and restocking, airport transfer bookings, etc. Location was great - right in the middle of everything - we walked everywhere (except to Sintra and Cascais) and there are plenty of great restaurants, cafes, shops, squares, etc. right outside the door or just a few minutes away. But as nice and well located as the Flora Chiado Apartments are, the very best part is the staff - Rita and Liliana were so warm, welcoming, helpful, eager to assist and just always an absolute delight. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lisbon for both the place itself and the people who make it so special.

About as good as it gets! The location is filled with restaurants and easy to hop on to public transportation. Even though the next street over was busy with people at night, the street where the apartments are were very quiet. The apartment was very clean, stylish and well kept. The kitchen was filled with all the items you need for cooking. Due to covid your breakfast/snack items were in the refrigerator which made it nice to snack on at any time. Every morning a bag of fresh baked breads hung from our door knob. The staff were incredible. So very nice and helpful. Arranging car service, answering questions, making our stay just so pleasant. If you want a place to relax in while seeing Lisbon, stay here. Having all the space to relax in, it was better than being in a hotel room. I highly recommend Flora Chiado Apartments, you won't go wrong with this choice.

We had the most wonderful stay here in a 3rd floor one bedroom with a view of the church and street below. As other reviewers have pointed out the Chiado location is incredible. Easy walking (5-20 minutes) to virtually all the neighborhood gems we wanted to check out in the City. But the service is what makes this place a stand out. From freshly baked goods on the door at 8 a.m., the well stocked fridge, delicious wine and cheese platter waiting for us upon arrival, to their detailed care in helping us find great dinner locations each night. Honestly, I was sad to check out! But we'll be back. Obrigada Liliana, Rita, Pedro!
