Our last night in Iceland. What a perfect way to end our trip. The trio was incredible. And the lemon sole also excellent. Staff were great and answered my questions regarding the types of fish. The bread and granola .. how is it so good? We got 2 non alcoholic drinks, so glad they had these on the menu.

We ordered the Iceland Fish, Italy Garlic, and a 14-piece sushi set to share among three of us. The portions were generous, and every dish was delicious. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was lovely. That said, the prices were rather steep, but overall, it was still an enjoyable dining experience.

I am a seafood lover, and the dinner I had here was one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Absolutely incredible flavors, super fresh and high quality ingredients. We had the cod starter we had was perfectly prepared and the flavor bomb of pickled apples and cabbage surprised us. The scallop and slate dish was creative and very well balanced. Then we had the fish of the day trio, each fish had a clean taste clearly showcasing how very fresh the food was. They also gave us amuse bouche, house made bread with cultured butter and granola. It was actually less expensive than many not so great meals we had in Iceland. The service was on point, professional and thoughtful. I would recommend fish company to anyone going to Reykjavik.

An unforgettable dining experience! I had dinner at The Fish Company(Fiskfélagið), and it was absolutely amazing! The dishes are creative and full of delightful surprises, with ingredients and flavors from different parts of the world that blend beautifully together. My favourite dish was definitely the reindeer carpaccio. The combination of hazelnuts, Parmigiano, and blueberry compote was just extraordinary, each bite was an explosion of flavor! The main course, pan-fried lamb rib eye with pressed side lamb, was also fabulous, though the starter truly stole the show. A special shout-out to Eva, one of the waitresses, who made our evening even better. She was so sweet, attentive, and full of energy, always checking in on every table, clearing dishes promptly, and refilling our bottles without us needing to ask. She even surprised us with some cute little duckies and told us they were only for her favorite guests, such a lovely touch! We had a wonderful time at The Fish Company and will definitely come back the next time we visit Iceland. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

It was late, which one may not realize until it is too late because it stays daylight for so long. Hard to find a decent restaurant that would still be open, have space and provide a quality meal. The Fish Company – we almost did not find it as the map seemed to suggest the entry on the other side – was a wonderful jewel: Very personable staff, great menu choices and super-delicious food, beautifully presented and on point.

Absolute perfection! The best restaurant in Reykjavik, by far. The lobster soup is divine. Didn’t eat anything closer as good as this one in my life. The fish is perfect, the dessert crazy! Perfect served, ambiance was more than you think, 6 out of 5 stars!

Superb place for seafood lovers! The ingredients were so fresh and the food has been meticulously prepared. We loved all the dishes and thought they were packed full of flavour, yet had a nice balance. We ordered the Fish Festival 3-meal course, and had the Iceland Fish and Italy Garlic. They were so good that we devoured everything! The lobster soup was really delicious. It was very creamy, the broth was rich, and the wolffish was pan fried really well. One of the best soup I ever had! The Arctic Char was fascinating, and the slow-cooked nature was the first of its kind I ever tried in Iceland. Finally, the tiramisu was a perfect end to the 3-course meal. It was creamy, and the ladyfingers were well-soaked with espresso. The Lobster Salad (main) had a great mix of fresh vegetables and deep fried langoustine. The generous Parmigiano Reggiano really brought the dish together. Finally, the Fish Trio of the Day (Iceland Fish) had a nice serving of 3 fishes. The ling was very juicy and succulent and we loved it greatly. However, we found the smoked haddock too salty for our liking. There were also a few bones in the filet, though we understand that it is difficult to ensure the filet is free from bones. Overall, the experience here was wonderful. The staff were amazing and attentive, and we will definitely come again next time we are in Iceland.

Definitely worth visiting for the food as both taste and presentation were on point. This was the perfect first dinner here in Iceland! We got: - Mango Madness (mocktail) - Iceland LOVAGE (appetizer) - Iceland FISH (main) - Netherlands CHIVE (main) - Denmark PISTACHIO (dessert) Personally, the Iceland FISH main course was the highlight as there are three different fishes cooked three different ways. There was thoughtful preparation (in both pairing and sizing) to all the dishes. The choice of ingredients held true to the regional themes as well.
