"Ffiona's serves traditional, rustic staples, like steak and kidney pie and an amazing sticky toffee pudding, but the raison d'être is Ffiona herself, the ever-present owner who makes every customer feel like a personal guest in her small, wooden, candlelit restaurant. Ffiona has recently added an excellent brunch every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with everything from the a English breakfast to fluffy pancakes (and a free cocktail on Saturday). Her traditional Sunday roast is not to be missed."

Fiona’s is exceptional. I am extremely impressed with the food at Fiona’s, I am hard to please! The steak was decadent, the chicken Kiev is the best in the word for sure, crispy crunchy but soft in the middle chips. The sweet potato fries were not soggy or oily like most, the veg was fresh, seasoned lightly and cooked to perfection. Last but not least the apple and blueberry crumble and custard is to die for highly recommend, perfect ratio of crumble to fruit and a silky creamy homemade custard to compliment. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant any more. Ffiona is a lovely very welcoming host, warm and kind and will cater to all your needs.

Fffiona takes the time to engage with her guests, works the room so seamlessly - you feel like an old friend. Amazing drinks, comfort food, nice ambience - cannot wait to return! Update: Returned and had a fantastic breakfast again. I’ve developed a severe lactose intolerance in the last year and I really appreciate that Ffiona’s inquired as to allergies and was able to accommodate cooking my breakfast without dairy. Everything was fantastic, just as last time. I was able to have oat milk with my coffee, and vegan butter with my sourdough. Thank you so much. Definitely still my favourite breakfast in London! :) ***** Excellent full English breakfast. Queen’s scramble also very very good. Highly recommend the side of Wiltshire bacon. Would happily return.

You MUST stop by to see Ffiona if you are in town. We first ate there over 15 years ago and we had such a great time that we just went back recently. Ffiona takes the time to read the menu and hang out with you. She is a true gem. And the food is simply amazing. Give it a try if you are in town!

Food was great and the service even better! Kind and attentive. We had the Lamb and the steak, delicious. And for dessert we shared a cheesecake! Gluten free too. Plenty of gluten free options ( must not be fried, as there is cross contamination) No picture of the mains as we were super hungry🤣.

Fantastic, honest and tasty food with a very warm welcome. Clearly popular and well deserved excellent reviews and recent award. Great to meet Ffiona who greeted us when we arrived. Impressive that this restaurant has been going strong since 1993.

Utterly divine. Food mouth watering good. We had shrimp, cod, lamb and steak, veg and apple crumble and custard. Very filling and sumptuous. Ffiona was a diamond and the atmosphere was really lovely with a mixture of locals and visitors which gives a homely feel - unusual in London. Visit, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a quick lunch at that restaurant and felt really welcomed. Service is very nice and kind. We were just disappointed by the quantity in the plates. For almost 16 pounds an omelet, one at least expects a bit of salad on the side.. Otherwise the food remains very good.
