"Mylopotas Beach, Íos Mylopotas Beach is one of the most popular destinations on Íos island, but since it stretches over one kilometre long, you'll rarely find it overcrowded. Cafes and restaurants stretch the length of the beach, but the Far Out Beach Club reigns supreme. It's part hotel, hostel, and campsite, and you'll be surprised by how fabulous the food is."

This resort is IMO not suitable for families or people seeking peace and quiet, and it would be helpful if thst was made clear in the marketing. The main issue is that it's next to the beach club, which has regular events on (there were 2 in our 4 night stay), with booming music which it would be impossible to sleep thru (stops at 11). 75% of the guests are 18-25 ish, and this feels like their target market. The other end of the bay is much quieter. The rooms themselves are clean, breakfast decent and staff pleasant. And a great position on the beach.

I had a very negative experience at this place, mainly due to the poor service at the beach area. When we arrived, the waitress immediately asked us to pay upfront for the sunbeds, which we did in cash. She took the money but never gave us a receipt. Later, when we ordered food and drinks, we asked for the bill, but it never came in writing—she simply announced an amount. The total was clearly inaccurate, as she had charged us for the sunbeds again. When I questioned it, she blamed “a mistake by the staff inside,” which was not convincing at all. On top of that, the waitress was extremely unprofessional. Service was very slow because she was busy chatting with people she knew at the next table and even drinking shots with them, while we and other customers were left waiting. For a place that presents itself as a well-known beach bar, this kind of service is unacceptable. Charging customers incorrectly, refusing to provide receipts, and showing favoritism to friends instead of serving paying guests is simply unprofessional. I would strongly advise management to review their staff training and ethics, because experiences like this make guests feel cheated rather than welcomed

Well this hotel is solely for partying 18-19 year olds. If your over age 25 and on, you won’t like it. If your handicapped or back or leg problems, skip this place because everything is uphill steep or downhill deep. I think the staff weren’t welcoming at all to a point where I stopped asking them questions. You could ask them where the bathroom is and they’d answer like it’s the dumbest question they’ve ever had ever heard. If you a couple it wanting a quiet time, check another place. Now, it’s a very beautiful place though. Great beach spots and nice restaurants along the strip. They do pick you up from the airport which is great and you can easily take the bus back to the ferry port. It is super clean. The club is extremely loud but it’s not all night which is great. If you a high school kid ages 18-21, this is heaven but for anyone else, they’re are much better relaxing places. But, the hotel isn’t lying, they tell you this hotel is for partying with music and djs. So, overall I give it a 4 if the staff weren’t just more welcoming and happy to help all week.

The pool area is stunning, the club is great fun, and the bar staff were all genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the bungalow accommodation completely lets it down — mine was dirty, poorly maintained, and not worth the price. I’m sure the proper hotel rooms are much nicer, but as a queer guest staying in a bungalow, I did not feel safe. I had multiple men call me slurs under their breath, and the overall environment was far from inclusive. On top of that, my bungalow had only one barely operable light, air conditioning that would only turn on and off, and a single charging port for the whole room. For similar money in Chora you can get a private bathroom, clean facilities, and actually feel comfortable while still enjoying the beach and nightlife.

Far out beach resort was amazing! I really enjoyed staying here! The rooms were very clean slightly cramped but they were very nice! I found the bathroom was very hygienic - my only issue was how close everything was in there it was quite hard to move around but that’s fine, it was a very minor issue. Overall the room was pretty much perfect. We had included breakfast, there wasn’t a wide range of choice but it was okay. The bar, beach and pool area was amazing! Very clean and had a great vibe about it. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything was reasonably priced. The beach was perfect - there was lots of places to sit and sunbathe - they had water sports activities available! The staff were really helpful, polite and kind! The hotel is located in a perfect place! The bus stop was just outside and is only €2 to get into town (cash) there was also a mini market and a gym just next door to the resort! I have no negatives about this resort! It was perfect! I would highly recommend!

expensive huts with holes at the bottom...i got spider bites twice.|dirty toilets, dirty showers, very expensive and tasteless food, rude staff. |the pool area is sealed off for electronic music parties, so even though you are a guest, the security tell you to either pay or leave the premises (pool, bar, restaurant etc).

If you come early it’s also a good place with kids because the sand is great and the water shallow. They keep the beach clean and tidy, there is a guy whose sole job is to make sure it looks nice. Service is good. Professional run business.
