Steve is an encyclopedia of knowledge. Ask anything regarding improving your health - he's happy to share. And then there are all the organic, delicious smoothies and snacks, catered to your body's needs. Friendly service and great ambiance for a small space. Not cheap, but neither are the ingredients used.

I ordered: Tropical Treat Smoothie, Amazing Apple Pie Smoothie, Brain and Skin Elixir, Eyes and Ears Elixir, Goji Cream Dream Smoothie, Sanna Banana Smoothie for delivery via SkipTheDishes. I liked how the smoothies came in containers that were made of plants, not petroleum (ie-plastic) and that the straws were the same. This place definitely has it's own taste going! The use of Chinese herbs in the elixirs intrigued me, so I ordered 2 kinds to really check out the taste. Unfortunately, they mixed them all together in 3 bottles, so... Anyways, the elixirs seem like boiled Chinese herbs, strained and bottled. Being a tea, these are not one of those strong elixirs you get at some places -- they were a bit disappointing but ok if you want a shot of cold herbal tea. The smoothies are really interesting! I loved the goji Cream Dream (though there was a pile of sweetener in it). The tropical Treat was great, and seemed the healthiest of the bunch. The Amazing Apple Pie tastes like peanut butter, so I think I got sent the wrong thing there. I really wish that there were juices on order for delivery since smoothies don't do well sitting around. The gave me a free Jun Soda with Blue Majik which was very thoughtful. I'll definitely reorder.

I'd like to preface this review by stating that I am a complete smoothie/juice novice, and generally suspicious of any product that makes lofty health claims. However, I really like Farmacia, and here's why. I've been to Farmacia several times, tried the apple pie and vitality punch - both winners. The juices and smoothies are indeed very good, but the thing that keeps me going back is the owner, Stefano. He is a friendly and knowledgeable guy, and clearly very passionate about the business. A ten-second question about the juice-making process led to a 5-minute response whereby Stefano explained how he spends time off driving around Ontario, collecting water from natural springs in order to give the juices specific flavour profiles. Exotic spring water aside, the impression I got from talking with Stefano is that he is someone who believes very strongly in what he's doing. I respect that. The juices at Farmacia are a major cut above the $6 fare you find at chain retailers. The hard work and high quality ingredients that go into each drink are evident in the tasty results, and certainly warrant the $10 price tag. It's not something I can afford to indulge on a daily basis, but I look forward to it every couple of weeks. Whether you're a health food skeptic, a juice connoisseur, or just curious, you owe it to yourself to try the vitality punch, and give a unique local business a chance. You won't be disappointed!

The apple pie smoothie $10 is one of my favorite smoothies of all time and I've had a lot of smoothies! It's creamy and magically tastes like apple pie! Steve is very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in the smoothies, elixirs, and and healthy shots. This is a great spot for a healthy boost if you are in the Beaches!

Love it here! Steve is so friendly and really knows his stuff. For those of you that are complaining of the prices being too high, well, it's an ORGANIC juice bar. Lol... I really don't know how much more I can dumb it down. Buying organic ingredients is expensive already so how do you expect him to make any profit off of what he sells if everything is dirt cheap? Please, use common sense. Sorry but you can't put a price on good health. Any juice bar you go to will be expensive; so either realize this or go somewhere else for "fruit" and "vegetable" juices filled with chemicals, acids, GMOs, fertilizers, fillers, artificial sweeteners, etc. I love supporting my local business so I will continue to do so. As for what I purchased, I got the Tropical Treat which was really good! I'll definitely be going back to try more flavours.

Overpriced but that's typical of a juice bar (and The Beaches). I ordered some sort of green smoothie. After watching the gentleman behind the counter struggle for a solid 5 minutes cutting open a rock-hard unripened avocado, he suggested I order something else instead. He actually offered to make me a custom drink, inspired by the other ingredients in my original order. It was disgusting. Save your taste buds, save your money.

I really really really like their smoothies. I just want them to be bigger. They were really good. And I came back twice. So maybe I shouldn't be making that judgement. Like who am I to say it's not worth that much money? And clearly it was to me on those two days. I just walked away...a little unsatisfied. The quality of the smoothie and the heartiness of it would have been enough to fill me up, if only there had been just a bit more of it. Still better than booster juice by a long shot though. So is it worth it? You decide!

Tried the vitality punch and it was yummy. I do think their stuff is a little bit overpriced though.

I have been to Farmacia many times. I have only had a few things that are on the menu. The Amazing Apple Pie smoothie was just amazing. I don't think that it gets any better. They have a nice upstairs seating area, and it looks very welcoming on your first step in the door. Steve actually cares what he puts in his smoothies, and I think that is awesome. He doesn't just put random ingredients in the blender willy nilly. It seems to be worth every single penny. Especially if you order the Dreamsicle, it really seems worth every penny. In conclusion, Farmacia really energizes the body the right way.

Excellent juice and service- highly recommended! Steve and his team are very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to share health remedies. They carry the most affordable hemp seeds in bulk and DoTerra Essential oils, which are simply amazing. Also, very important to note, you absolutely have to try Steve's remedy for a sore throat: a drop of peppermint oil on a teaspoon of honey. It's pure heaven. Beats Halls lozenges every time!!!

Stopped in for a mid-morning pick-me-up: carrot, celery, kale, apple juice. Made to order out of fresh organic ingredients, no filler, just straight-up goodness. Great service too! Will be back to try other combinations.

Giving this place 1 star for false hours of operation on their website... I was looking forward to some green juice.

These people knew just the right stuff for optimizing my health... their knowledge and several amazing juices turned things around for me in a few days. Then, I did a full cleanse kit, and my system flushed out, leaving me feeling lighter and with way more energy and no more brain fog. They make great tasting juices... the healthiest veggie juice combos just taste amazing. I have found my favourite combo... the Golden Lemonade and the Sanna Flush... I grab it right from their fridge and mix in a glass... no waiting. I watched Steve unload pure spring water in glass bottles... he's such a purist... organic veggies and everything else organic... I'm turning my overall health around and Farmacia is now my local source for knowledge and key healing materials.
