Yelp
This time I was craving for a burger so I looked through Yelp for a new burger place to try!
Restaurant
They have patio seating available, which would be good for hotter days, but for now, we stayed inside. There weren't too many tables, but they have two huge picnic tables, which they encourage for you to share. I'm not too sure if I'd be comfortable with that because of COVID, but luckily, there weren't too many people that night. There were condiments, utensils and hand sanitizer on the table. Aside from the tables, there is also a bar.
Staff
I only ever saw two of them, but they seemed friendly. The one who was at the counter was enthusiastic as he greeted us and handed us the menu. He also told us about their other shake flavors. They have seasonal flavors; the flavor for that time was Apple Pie. He also asked if we wanted additional toppings, since our burger only included cheese, caramelized onions and FB sauce. Which was a good thing, because I wanted mine with tomatoes and lettuce. When he saw that our table only had a few ketchup, he brought us more packets. Also, as we were leaving, he asked if we needed validation for the parking.
How to Order
You order from the counter, and you pay there, too. When your food is ready, they'll bring it to you. If you order the burger, they'll ask how you want it cooked. I think you can also order ahead of time since someone picked up their order while we were there.
Food
I ordered the Farm Burger with Fries while the hubby ordered the same with Onion Rings. We added tomatoes and lettuce. The serving was huge! The taste of the fries were just okay, but they were kinda crispy, which was how I liked them. There were so many, though, that I had to eat some fries first because I wasn't sure I'd be able to lift the burger without spilling some of them. The Onion Rings were good. They were crispy, but the taste was just okay, too.
The burgers, though. I think the FB sauce and aged Tillamook white cheddar really complemented the burgers, but when deciding what burgers I like, I mostly base on the patties themselves. We got them medium rare, and they were juicy and flavorful. It wasn't dry or tough, which was mostul my issue with other burgers. This easily became my favorite burger place here in Georgia. Only downside is, it was pretty difficult to eat. They do have plastic knives and forks on the table, which we noticed too late.
We also ordered their seasonal shake: Apple Pie. At first we were skeptical of the straw they gave us for it, because it was just a normal-sized straw, but it works. The taste, though... I think it's good but I think it had too much cinnamon. It did give me a cozy feeling, even if it was a cold drink.
By the way, they have different straws. The one they gave for the shake looked like a normal plastic straw, but the ones they gave for the water were different. They looked plastic but it's probably one of those biodegradable/compostable plastics. I'm not too sure but they looked and felt different.
Parking
Weekends are free. On weekdays, you'd need validation from the restaurant.
Burgers are one of my favorite things to eat, and this is now my favorite burger place so definitely, definitely coming back!
