Famous Toastery

I love this place. Our waitress was so sweet and nice. The prices- what a great deal! They have a French vanilla creamer- yum! It was quiet for a Friday morning but quick service and nice staff!

I had been here before and loved it, I arrived at 10:25 am, was told to sit where I want, the place was empty except for two young ladies sitting across from me. They took my coffee and food order, got my coffee and then crickets, over 35 -40 minutes went by never refilled my coffee, I only saw 3 people in all in on staff, one person cooking and two doing something. I thought the young ladies were doing what young ladies do, talking and enjoying conversation, they got there before me, low and behold they had not been served yet. I looked at the server and she says mine will be up in a few minutes and it was, the food was delicious. This restaurant needs staff, can not contact Famous Toastary via email, looked everywhere, my expectations are never high when I eat out, we have been conditioned however please let patrons know that it will be a 35 to 45, 50 minute wait, or say you are under staffed, let us make the decision with our time. Again the place was empty.

Good stop for breakfast. Friendly staff. I get the breakfast bowl with sausage Gravy, scramble eggs and chorizo. The spicy from the chorizo with the creamy sausage Gravy is money.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! The staff was so kind; especially our server, Lamark. The food came very quickly and it was delicious! Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Really cute little place! The people were nice and the food was super tasty. Loved the potatoes. It was a bit spendy, but for the experience it made sense

Breakfast was wonderful! We had apple cinnamon pancakes with bacon and French Toast with poached eggs and bacon. Everything was fantastic! The service was solid. The place was kind of run down. It could use a spruce up for sure. If you can look past that and just enjoy the food you’ll have a great breakfast.

In Charlotte for concert / business trip and asked hotel front desk for recommendations, one was Famous Toastery. Well let me tell you they did not disappoint, food’s amazing and staff is awesome. Ordered the Country Benedict and fresh squeezed OJ and now ready to conquer the day ! Highly suggest if you’re in the area , may have to make this a regular stop when I visit or move here. Great food, attentive staff and chill vibe what more could you want.

I really enjoyed the healthy food options on the menu. I ordered the Runner’s Omelette and was happy with the veggie selection and Brie cheese. Something different than the normal breakfast. The server was friendly and the coffee was refilled while we waited for our food.
