"FAM Grocery Market, Hampstead Heath. An amazing and exotic range of fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs delivered daily can be picked up here to add to your picnic bounty, along with other confectionery, grains, seeds, nuts and dried goods in the back. A firm favourite with the locals, it’s also very reasonably priced with friendly staff."

A glorious local business with reasonable pricing and an incredible range of fruits, vegetables, pulses, tinned foods and deli foods. The staff are always kind and friendly, and I don’t know what other reviews are talking about when they mention extreme unfriendliness. The staff may not be wearing masks or creating huge queues outside their shop by only letting a few people in at a time, but if you don’t like it, then just don’t come in. It has been a godsend that such a reliable shop can stay open during this hard time, and supply great quality food for all.

I found the most glorious strawberry basket at "Fam Green Grocery Market" during one of my morning strolls around Hampstead Heath! Incredibly sweet, juicy and big strawberries, a dream! 🍓🍓. These will be perfect for morning breakfasts, desserts or energising smoothies! Now that I have discovered this gem place, I will be back frequently!

Good selection of interesting supplies, I always pop in for something nice! You pay a little more than a big supermarket but as a small business owner myself, I live in reality — independent shops simply can’t be expected to charge a low as massive companies with thousands of branches that buy produce in gigantic quantities. Overall, a great little store! There were some issues when they opened (staff were a little rude and there was £7 limited on card) but now all this is smoothed out, they seemed to have responded positively to feedback. I go here all the time now. Running a business is difficult and people make mistakes. Support your local through the highs and the lows. I hope they continue to improve on customer service — a smile goes a long way! :-)

I‘ve been in here a few times as the produce looks really good and I like to support local grocers and family businesses. It’s expensive, fine, but what bothers me is the staff are so unfriendly! They never smile if you smile at them (now customers wear masks I still make a point of saying hi, and how was your day, yet the person behind the counter doesn’t even make eye contact - they always seem put out that I’m there). There’s usually staff members standing in the way and for some reason they don’t move unless you ask. The store has also put the minimum card amount to £7 which seems particularly unreasonable when we’re all encouraged to use contactless payments instead of cash. Every time I leave I think what a great local place this would be if the customer was only made to feel welcome.

I'm amazed by the poor reviews relating to this place. It has an exceptionally wide variety of high quality fruit and veg at really reasonable prices and the friendliness of the service seems fine to me. Its certainly the best green grocer I've ever visited. £7 minimum charge for credit card is, however a bit of a pain....

A serious rip off. Yes they have a good selection of fruits and vegetables, even though one side of the shop actually looks more like a very average middle eastern off license with a bunch of random products, you would be better off buying at Tesco next door. The shop is overpriced, staff are rude and the fact that you have a 7 pounds credit card minimum in 2020 with a pandemic around (nice way to force you to spend) is just beyond me. I will not go back for sure.

This is the worst local store ever! I have never ever seen an owner using a nail polish to remove the expired date and stick a new date on the product. I hope that the council visit this store to find the Out Of Date products before it gives someone from the local area some food-poisoning. I have never been more disgusted than finding out the truth about this local store and the tricks they use to sell out of date products to their local people. I’d say it’s more safe to buy your shopping from your local Tesco. Hopefully the council shut this place down before someone gets hurt by eating some out of date product.

I always pop by when I’m in the area. I love the smell of fresh veggies and fruits. Always great quality and variety. They also have quite a lot of grocery items and they fit a remarkable lot of stuff in there. The staff are always friendly. Only possible downside is that it has quite narrow isles so it can be difficult to navigate Covid wise sometimes.
