It was impressive to see the personality of the honest owner. I realised that's why they're so popular and why people keep coming back to this falafel-centric place. Even with the crazy inflation in Lebanon, they seem to manage to keep the price as reasonable as possible. # Beirut # Lebanon

My visit was back in 2018 and this was a nice place with lovely falafels. Staff and service was 5/5

One of the two Sahyoun brothers and Beirut’s most popular falafel shops, his falafel is always fresh and crunchy, sandwiches are small so most probably you need two if you’re hungry. Prices are really good. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for authentic falafel at an unbeatable price, this place is a must-visit. The falafel is everything you could hope for—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, with just the right blend of spices. Each bite bursts with tradition, served alongside fresh pita, vibrant salads, and creamy tahini sauce. The generous portions and budget-friendly prices make it a fantastic option for anyone craving a taste of the Middle East without breaking the bank. Whether you're a long-time falafel fan or trying it for the first time, this spot won't disappoint.

I think this is like a Mecca stop whenever someone visits Lebanon Beirut because this is a must visit shop to try the Falafel. For me this is probably the shop that I have ever tried the best falafel the first bite you get a hot one it is hot, crispy and so flavourful and soft on the inside. Don't scrimp if you can just order the big one which is the sandwich extra it will leave you very satisfied. Hang around for a while to catch the falafel frying process and the making of the sandwich. Was honoured to have the famous owner doing hands on wrapping the sandwich and see how fast his hands are. Even singer Bryan Adams visited this place and enjoyed the falafel. Its a great combination on the fresh vegetables and the sauces used that till now makes my impression of the sandwich so memorable. Don't be mistaken cause there are 2 shops side by side selling the same thing. You know you are eating from the right shop when you feel so satisfied and happy.

One of the worst falafel in the country. I was craving a falafel, i opened google maps to check a falafel shop, saw this one with around 800 reviews. I said might as well to try it. One the worst ideas ever. The shop is so small, dirty. The falafel for 200 000 is over expensive. I ate the sandwich and it tasted like dead rodents so i threw half of it in the trash. I said i was going to get food poisoned which i did the next morning, so i started normix. I tried the second shop on the street with the blue light. 2 old guys are sitting probably no bathroom to wash their hands. Please do not try this shop, you will get sick and it is not even tasty at all. You are also guaranteed food poisoning 100% and prepare antibiotics.

Went to the red one on the left, generally I like my falafel crispier. Otherwise the vegtables were freshly sliced and I was given the option of how spicey. More expensive than I have paid elsewhere, but I am a tourist and do not know the local economy.
