Everland

On 17 December 2024 our group arrived at 4pm and were fortunate not having to queue long for the pandas. However when we were done at 4.45 pm we discovered Zootopia was closed! That was enormously disappointing and we had to make do with whatever attractions that were open. When we tried to get dinner at 6.30pm all the restaurants were closed and we had no choice but to eat cup noodles at the convenience store outside the entrance. To avoid similar incidents I suggest that visitors should be advised the time when these areas are closed by staff when entering Everland. The highlight of our visit were the pandas!!

Had an amazing time here. The park is much bigger than expected, with many fun rides and yummy food choices that aren’t overpriced by theme park standards. We visited during winter and was rly pleasantly surprised to see sledding as a winter activity here! The zoo section was awesome too - the animals looked very well taken care of and had a huge space to stroll around. It was nice seeing them out and about without being confined to cages. The rollercoasters were so fun too, there are many available besides T-express, so plan your route well!

The experience here is really great, you should buy tickets through Klook to enter the gate with a group, which will be a bit less crowded. In addition, you should use the Everland app to be able to prioritize the queue for the games you like right from the entrance. The food in Everland is also very delicious. The park is always clean and cool.

Everland is located quite far from Seoul’s CBD, making it a bit of a journey to get there. Not all facilities were open during our visit, which was slightly disappointing. The park has very steep slopes, so extra caution is needed when visiting with kids or elderly family members, especially if you're using a trolley. The zoo area, particularly the sections featuring pandas and other wild animals, was a highlight and significantly enhanced our overall experience. The safari sessions provided an excellent opportunity to observe animals up close, which we really enjoyed. However, we were unable to find clear information on how to join the private tour section, which was frustrating. Overall, the park is not particularly foreigner-friendly for those who don’t understand Korean, which may lead to some challenges. Despite these drawbacks, Everland is still a place worth visiting for the unique experiences it offers.

Surprisingly large enclosures for the animals to roam around, esp. the carnivores. Of course it's not as good as the wild, but they look so healthy and some are also active. Enjoyed myself at Zootopia!

Must visit. Animal park and adventure park both are too good. Plan for complete day. Crowded on weekends but you get to enjoy each attraction by using smart advance booking when you are inside. Good for kids above 5 yrs.

Contrary to all the previous reviews, the queue timing for the rides depends on the type of rides. Most of the adult rides require more than 30mins wait time while the kiddy rides are mainly 20mins or less. For the popular ones requiring Q Pass like the amazon or the safari attraction, if you are not in the park before 10am, the pass will be snatched up within 5mins. They say normal queues will start at 2pm but when we reach the attractions at 1.30pm, the waiting time is already more than 2 hours. So you have to plan your time properly as there are not much instructions or directions on what to do if you miss out on the Q Pass for these attractions. Food is pretty affordable and the staff are always very friendly, so that's a plus. Overall we still enjoyed our visit because our kid really liked the kiddy rides, minus one star for the lack of direction on the popular attractions.
