UPDATED REVIEW:||This updated review reflects that I’ve finally been refunded, but it took far too long and everything else in my review still stands.||My experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. I stayed for seven nights, and every single day there was an issue.||Check-In and Security Deposit:|From the moment we arrived, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. They didn’t bother explaining anything—just asked me to insert my card, took $500 as a security deposit, and informed me it would be refunded after checkout. It’s now been almost a month since I checked out (4th November 2024), and I’ve only just received my money back after weeks of persistent calls and emails (29th November 2024).||Breakfast Experience:|The breakfast service was consistently disappointing. Every day there was a problem:||The eggs and potatoes were cold.|I requested well-done eggs but got runny eggs instead.|On multiple occasions, I found hair in my food. By the third time, there were also eggshells in my meal.|In addition to these issues, the breakfast seating area was far too small to accommodate guests. On multiple occasions, we couldn’t find a place to sit, leaving us awkwardly standing while waiting for tables. Even when a table was finally free, it would take ages for someone to clean it. The staff also seemed short-staffed, as it took far too long for our orders to be taken.||After repeated incidents, we decided to skip breakfast for the rest of our stay. On our last morning, we reluctantly gave it another try, only to face yet another issue. The staff initially refused us entry, claiming the clocks had gone forward and we’d missed breakfast. This was incorrect—the clocks had actually gone backward, as the news on the TV behind the staff member clearly showed. After some back-and-forth, they eventually let us in. To our surprise, the breakfast that day was decent. However, as we were leaving, the server yelled, “Six tables and nothing,” insinuating that we didn’t leave a tip—even though we were heading to our room to get cash for her.||Room Service Issues:|The room service was equally poor. They failed to:||Restock toilet paper.|Replenish hot drink supplies.|Replace towels.|When we asked for an iron and ironing board, they told us it was under the bed—but the bed was broken and couldn’t be opened.||Final Thoughts:|This stay was one frustration after another. I wasn’t planning to write this review initially, but the lack of response regarding my $500 security deposit forced me to. Even though I’ve finally received my deposit back, the delay and lack of communication were unacceptable.||Save yourself the trouble—choose another hotel. I am certain you will have a better experience elsewhere!
