"Endzior Zapiekanki for late-night food After a night of barhopping, it's only natural to develop an appetite. Visit Plac Nowy in Kazimierz for zapiekanki , a Polish pizza-style snack of baked bread with a topping of tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and garlic sauce. There are a few stalls in Plac Nowy serving zapiekanki late into the night, but only Endzior has a constant line of loyal customers. Another Krakow institution is the sausage stand outside Plac Targowy where men in white coats serve an eager line of customers with delicious sausages smoked over their wood-burning stove and delivered in a bread roll with mustard. This makeshift stall has been on this spot every day between 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. for longer than most of their customers care to remember."

If you're in Krakow and craving an evening snack or some delectable street food, look no further than this highly recommended vendor. Their zapiekanki are absolutely delicious—easily 11/10! **Food:** We visited twice and tried both the vegetarian and spinach-only options. Each bite was packed with flavor, showcasing the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The toppings were generous, and the bread was perfectly toasted. **Overall Experience:** Our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we would definitely visit this place again when in Krakow. It’s the perfect spot for an evening treat or a quick street food fix

Takeaway polish sandwich in a market square. Delicious options however you eat outside and when it's cold it's an issue!

My Baguette took half an hour to make, then it was burnt and I threw most of it away. The lady behind the counter took more and more Orders and totally forgot our food. Guess the people behind us will wait 2 hours A waste of money and food. Go one to the left to BarOko. They Look much much better!

Great traditional warm polish baguette, with your choise of toppings.

Experience Polish fast food pre-McDonalds & Pizza Hut. Surprisingly tasty despite its simplicity - possibly because it’s fresh from oven, & the breaded base is such a perfect balance of soft inside & lightly crispy crust. Expect to eat it outdoors & standing up.

We couldn't leave Krakow without tasting this big sandwich (or zapiekanki). It was very delicious and there were many options that we could choose. We tried the one with chicken and I added some ketchup, I wanted to know what else I can put on this sandwich, mayonnaise maybe.

We chose this place to eat zapikanki on the recommendation of a friend. First of all, I can say that the portions were too big. I didn't enjoy eating it at all because it was bigger than normal. Also, it took a long time to prepare the food. In addition, do not order the zapikanki with tuna. You might regret it like me. It wasn't very tasty but it wasn't inedible either. The prices were reasonable, but I've had better zapikankis. It didn't meet my expectations.

We went there after a visit in French restaurant. To be honest we were still hungry:) and eating famous ,,zapiekanka" was very good idea. Just serving could be faster. We were waiting too long.

Yelp
So this is apparently a must-visit food stand in Kraków. As you walk around this ancient round brick building, you will notice that all the vendors are serving the same food (essentially a glorified flatbread). You will also notice that there are few people lined up at any of the vendors except this one. That's your cue that you are at the correct location. The line is very disorganized, so you need to be somewhat persistent in making your way towards the window to order. The flat bread is deliciously messy, but I did not find it to be anything particularly amazing. There are no places to sit, so you will need to enjoy it while standing or walking around taking in the scenery. ----------- from Google Translate: To najwyraźniej obowiązkowe stoisko z jedzeniem w Krakowie.

Yelp
I can absolutely recommend this really awesome place for some delicious Zapiekanka, which is a must have Krakow street-food... There are many places in Krakow that offer this Krakow speciality however I must say the ones offered at Bar Endzior are some of the best!!! We had the menu item #22, the Diabelsko Ostra, which is one of the most spiciest one...so if you are up for some really spicy food then I can highly recommend it!!!

Yelp
I love zapiekanka! The line for this one was really long though; I had to wait over half an hour for my bread. I got the zapiekanka with fried onion and corn, and it was delicious. I really enjoyed it. The bread was crunchy and the mushrooms were plentiful, and there wasn't too much ketchup. Toppings were abundant too, I really enjoyed this. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ok, by no means fine cuisine, but perfect cuisine for a night out. Basically, a zapiekanka is a toasted, polish baguette with various toppings. In my opinion, works best with ham or salami, cheese, spring onion and ketchup or garlic sauce. Endzior is the most popular of the "zapienka" vendors in the round building in the middle of the square. It's one of those rare places which seem to be offering the exact same product as the establishment next door, but somehow there's always a long line just in front of this place. In this case, the reason is simple, their zapienkas are just better. (However, if the line is really long, try "Na Maxxa", which is ok too.) It's also in the center of Plac Nowy (New Square), which in turn is the center of Kazimierz's pub district. So it's a great place and way to start, end or take a break from discovering this area's various pubs, bars and clubs. But mostly pubs and bars. Smacznego!

Yelp
Perfect Zapiekanka close to the bars. All different kinds & flavors. Helpful staff ready to help with all weird request. If you are drunk - then 5 stars, if you are sober, maybe 4.

Yelp
This place has the longest line out of all those around it, for good reason!! The local that took me here told me that this one is the best, so naturally I followed her lead and ordered from here. Bar Endzior makes a simple baguette-style bread with cheese and any other toppings your heart could desire! On mine, I got cheese, garlic sauce and chives. I kept mine simple and I loved it! My fried, on the other hand, probably got everything she possibly could get on hers, which was equally delicious! Definitely not gourmet food but simple is the way to go for lunch. Supposedly this is the place to go if you want late-night food (to soak up all your beer and vodka drinking!)

Yelp
Zapiekanki's aka 'Pizza Boats' are a perfect late night snack as you are stumbling out of the bars. Cant go wrong with any of the unique flavor combinations and they are huge! Think how large a french bread loaf is, split it with a friend ( if you can agree on a flavor ) or curl up in your hotel bed with a half eaten loaf next to your pillow waiting for brunch time. You'll be waiting in line with locals and tourists alike and be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes as they are made to order.

Yelp
Good not great! Many Locals say it's the best because they repeat what others say. It is good but not worth the long wait in line especially when there 4 other places selling "zapiekanka " which is Polish for "pizza bread" within 10 meters of the place with lines of only a few people.
