"Endzior Zapiekanki for late-night food After a night of barhopping, it's only natural to develop an appetite. Visit Plac Nowy in Kazimierz for zapiekanki , a Polish pizza-style snack of baked bread with a topping of tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and garlic sauce. There are a few stalls in Plac Nowy serving zapiekanki late into the night, but only Endzior has a constant line of loyal customers. Another Krakow institution is the sausage stand outside Plac Targowy where men in white coats serve an eager line of customers with delicious sausages smoked over their wood-burning stove and delivered in a bread roll with mustard. This makeshift stall has been on this spot every day between 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. for longer than most of their customers care to remember."

The Zapiekanka we got was really good! The cheese was amazing and the cranberry with it just matched so well. The atmosphere may not be the best as you’re outside surrounded by birds waiting for you to drop something, but the food itself was super yummy!

The Zapiekanka is probably smaller than the other places but it has nice options like Bacon and Smoked Plums (although you couldn't taste the plums). I don't know if it's better than the othe 10 places around it but it was decent if you want to try this local food

Super tasty Zapiekanki. Many varieties. You can try even if you do not like mushrooms. There's no place to sit. Just take away. Must try local fast food!

Google
a cult place 📍 you have to eat zapiekanka here and as usual it is very tasty 🤤 the round cake in Krakow is an absolute must have

If you're in Krakow and craving an evening snack or some delectable street food, look no further than this highly recommended vendor. Their zapiekanki are absolutely delicious—easily 11/10! **Food:** We visited twice and tried both the vegetarian and spinach-only options. Each bite was packed with flavor, showcasing the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The toppings were generous, and the bread was perfectly toasted. **Overall Experience:** Our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we would definitely visit this place again when in Krakow. It’s the perfect spot for an evening treat or a quick street food fix

The logic of eating standing up is ridiculous, you can't enjoy it. It tasted good but not as much as it's made out to be. They do the same thing at the place just to the left and they give you a paper apron to prevent spilling. Totaly 50 pln.

Be aware that you have to wait a long time because of the quarter and it's one of the famous ones in Krakow . But it is worth it I tried the plum flavour and it was great 😸

The food? Sensational. I’ve been home for days and I’m still dreaming about those pizzas like they’re a long-lost lover. Whatever sorcery they’re doing in that kitchen, it’s working. Crispy, cheesy, absolute perfection. Service-wise… let’s just say I got the impression that asking for my pizza to be cut was a personal insult. No tissue offered either – perhaps part of a rustic charm I didn’t sign up for. A smile? Now that would’ve been the cherry on top (or maybe the basil leaf). Be warned: long queues – because clearly, everyone knows how good the food is. Just don’t expect warm hugs and jazz hands with your meal. Still, would I go back? In a heartbeat. Just maybe with my own napkins next time.

Yelp
So this is apparently a must-visit food stand in Kraków. As you walk around this ancient round brick building, you will notice that all the vendors are serving the same food (essentially a glorified flatbread). You will also notice that there are few people lined up at any of the vendors except this one. That's your cue that you are at the correct location. The line is very disorganized, so you need to be somewhat persistent in making your way towards the window to order. The flat bread is deliciously messy, but I did not find it to be anything particularly amazing. There are no places to sit, so you will need to enjoy it while standing or walking around taking in the scenery. ----------- from Google Translate: To najwyraźniej obowiązkowe stoisko z jedzeniem w Krakowie.

Yelp
I can absolutely recommend this really awesome place for some delicious Zapiekanka, which is a must have Krakow street-food... There are many places in Krakow that offer this Krakow speciality however I must say the ones offered at Bar Endzior are some of the best!!! We had the menu item #22, the Diabelsko Ostra, which is one of the most spiciest one...so if you are up for some really spicy food then I can highly recommend it!!!

Yelp
I love zapiekanka! The line for this one was really long though; I had to wait over half an hour for my bread. I got the zapiekanka with fried onion and corn, and it was delicious. I really enjoyed it. The bread was crunchy and the mushrooms were plentiful, and there wasn't too much ketchup. Toppings were abundant too, I really enjoyed this. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ok, by no means fine cuisine, but perfect cuisine for a night out. Basically, a zapiekanka is a toasted, polish baguette with various toppings. In my opinion, works best with ham or salami, cheese, spring onion and ketchup or garlic sauce. Endzior is the most popular of the "zapienka" vendors in the round building in the middle of the square. It's one of those rare places which seem to be offering the exact same product as the establishment next door, but somehow there's always a long line just in front of this place. In this case, the reason is simple, their zapienkas are just better. (However, if the line is really long, try "Na Maxxa", which is ok too.) It's also in the center of Plac Nowy (New Square), which in turn is the center of Kazimierz's pub district. So it's a great place and way to start, end or take a break from discovering this area's various pubs, bars and clubs. But mostly pubs and bars. Smacznego!

Yelp
Perfect Zapiekanka close to the bars. All different kinds & flavors. Helpful staff ready to help with all weird request. If you are drunk - then 5 stars, if you are sober, maybe 4.

Yelp
This place has the longest line out of all those around it, for good reason!! The local that took me here told me that this one is the best, so naturally I followed her lead and ordered from here. Bar Endzior makes a simple baguette-style bread with cheese and any other toppings your heart could desire! On mine, I got cheese, garlic sauce and chives. I kept mine simple and I loved it! My fried, on the other hand, probably got everything she possibly could get on hers, which was equally delicious! Definitely not gourmet food but simple is the way to go for lunch. Supposedly this is the place to go if you want late-night food (to soak up all your beer and vodka drinking!)

Yelp
Zapiekanki's aka 'Pizza Boats' are a perfect late night snack as you are stumbling out of the bars. Cant go wrong with any of the unique flavor combinations and they are huge! Think how large a french bread loaf is, split it with a friend ( if you can agree on a flavor ) or curl up in your hotel bed with a half eaten loaf next to your pillow waiting for brunch time. You'll be waiting in line with locals and tourists alike and be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes as they are made to order.

Yelp
Good not great! Many Locals say it's the best because they repeat what others say. It is good but not worth the long wait in line especially when there 4 other places selling "zapiekanka " which is Polish for "pizza bread" within 10 meters of the place with lines of only a few people.
