Pollito Chicken y Empanadas Monumental

Food was solid and the employees were very friendly and helpful. They gave me a sample of their yummy soup. I got two empanadas and a Yuca ball. I asked for hot sauce but it wasn’t very hot. Next time I’ll try their coffee and maybe a mango smoothie. There are a lot of drink options. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

First time here and let me just say that I'm 50/50 liking this place. We spent $38 dollars on 1whole chicken, a side of fries and a side of yuca. It's a lot of money and the serving portions and minimal. The chicken comes with a coleslaw tiny container look at the picture and a big order of plantains just 6 look at the picture. Just come prepare to spend a lot of money to feed your family. 1 whole chicken should NOT cost $24 dollars.

The food was perfect and freshly made. I've never been here before and I loved it. I had a really nice time reading my book and the pizza empanada was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Just wow. I really loved it and wish I'd ordered one to bring home. I can't wait to bring my husband here to try other empanadas. I really want to try their breakfast options.

I ordered the whole chicken and fries here. I liked it a lot, their sauce was also very good. It smelled good the second it came out of the kitchen and it did not disappoint. They did give us a macaroni salad with the food, and that came out a bit salty. The service was great. I waited inside for my order, and the place was clean and organized, but my problem was the heat. It seemed like there was no AC on, or fans, and I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed myself eating there for a long period of time. Other than that, I am definitely going back for more.

we just recently found this gem and we are caught !!☺️ Delicious Venezuelan food, fresh and well prepared, hearty portions enough for my wife and I. We even took some home! Very, very reasonable prices and the place is very clean and well decorated. We will be regular customers!!☺️ Try the great arepas and empanadas and a great treat prepared with sweet plantains..with great coffee...mmm..delicious! You will not go wrong!

I’ve had the legit empanadas monumental from NYC 207 st and honestly these empanadas disnt even compare. The chicken and cheese was a blob ( huge circle of frozen chicken slapped on ) I was expecting shredded chicken and cheese. Also tried the res one and it was decent but overall the protein to empanada ratio wasn’t the greatest mainly flour. The cheese sticks a believe are called tequenos were really good but once you bit into it you’ll be suprised by a burst of hot oil or just liquid still inside of the cheese stick. I’m far from a Karen but this place wasn’t it.

I placed an order for food, but after nearly an hour passed without it arriving, I was compelled to cancel. While I received a refund, no further accommodations were extended, resulting in the loss of my lunch hour without a meal.

Finally found some memorable Empanadas!! Absolutely satisfied with the service and the food. Don't miss out if you are around the area!
