As a visitor from Miami, my experience at Elixr Coffee in Philadelphia was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I stepped into the shop, I was captivated by its vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. The design is sleek and modern, with warm wooden accents and plants that make it feel like an urban oasis—perfect for relaxing or catching up on work. Now, the coffee? Next level. Miami has a strong coffee culture, but Elixr took it up a notch. Their pour-over was expertly brewed, highlighting the nuanced flavors of their single-origin beans, and their latte was silky smooth with perfectly textured milk. The baristas clearly know their craft and were happy to recommend drinks based on my preferences. I also tried a seasonal special, and it was hands down one of the most creative and delicious coffee experiences I’ve ever had. The vibe at Elixr felt like the perfect mix of energy and chill, with a playlist that added to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger, savor your coffee, and take in the cool Philly scene. If you’re visiting from out of town, especially from Miami, Elixr Coffee is an absolute must-visit. Their passion for coffee and welcoming environment left a lasting impression on me, and I can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the iced strawberry oat milk latte and dare I say it’s my favorite flavored latte I’ve ever had?! I also LOVE how cozy and quaint it is; located on one of the side roads off of Walnut St, you have to know about this place to get there lol. But the interior is so nice and calming. I definitely recommend visiting Elixr!!

My absolute favorite coffee and matcha spot in Philly. Can’t believe I haven’t posted this review sooner, probably too busy gulping down my strawberry oat milk matchas. From their rotation of international coffees (hand poured), speciality lattes like the black salt or delicious limited time drinks like the butterfly pea lemonade, I am salivating just thinking my next order. It’s also my favorite coffee shop to sit, work or chat. The staff are always so kind and the playlists are always amazing! Love love Elixr and staff! Always the highlight of my day 💗

Got a strawberry oatmilk latte which was excellent! Got a vegan donut as well which they get from Dottie's Donuts. There was a good amount of seating as well. Highly recommend stopping by for a coffee.

Nice coffee shop with good seating and space. I got a strawberry oatmilk matcha and it was already vegan so no substitutions needed to be made ('m looking at you starbucks). It was a great addition to my walk back to my airbnb. They also had donuts and to my suprise they were vegan! So, I couldn't say no to a vegan donut. They were from Dottie's Donuts, it was lavender vanilla drizzle and it was so good (they've got great suppliers).

Nice coffee spot for whole beans. I like that you can get a free drink with your bag! I was a little disappointed they only have strawberry matcha option with oat milk, but the vanilla matcha was decent. I also tried the iced mocha and thought it was a perfect level of sweetness and had great chocolate flavor!

Cute hipster coffees shop near Rittenhouse Square. It's hidden in an alley, so you just might miss it! They roast their own beans and have blends from all around the world. My husband enjoyed his pour over and my tahitian sea salt mocha was absolutely delicious. Their pastry case was stacked with some of the best looking pastries I've seen in a long time, my daughters really enjoyed their doughnuts and the croissants were fat, flaky, and buttery. We got in around ten and found a nice little table to sit at, but the line got super long quickly after. This place is PRIME for people watching. It was like a little fashion show from my little seat and I loved every single minute of it.

Elixr strikes a really good balance between having good coffee and having a cozy sitting area. It's quite comfortable at Elixr, especially if you get here early, as I am wont to do, and snag the corner table. It delivers the optimal coffee experience, IMO. Was able to have my coffee and read my paper in good comfort. Coffee kinda hit. Really nice latte and drip. I'll absolutely return here in the future. Would probably even walk a couple blocks to have it. A little on the expensive side for a latte but nothing completely unexpected or anything, but maybe enough to keep it from the allusive 5*. 4.5 stars if I could give it.

I got two iced teas. One hibiscus and one green citrus. The hibiscus one was just okay. The green citrus one was basically water with a hint of tea and the tiniest bit of citrus. I prefer not to pay about $3.50 for barely flavored water... Service was fine. Dark inside but good amount of seating.

The foam on the cappuccino was not as smooth as I would like, but the espresso was strong and tasted great. The black salt caramel latte was a little too salty and sweet but the foam was smooth, thick, and great quality! The coffee taste was not as strong for the latte. The inside was cute but only had a few tables to sit at.

I have enjoyed making coffee with Elixr coffee beans, so I was pretty excited to come across this cafe. The interior is spacious, there is plenty of seating options, accommodating to 2 people at a table or more at the side bench. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud, making it difficult to focus or take meetings. Other times, the music is at an appropriate level so you can focus with noise cancelling headphones for a meeting or vibe with the music playing. The staff are fast and attentive to your questions. I ordered the Berry Hibiscus tea and it was delicious and refreshing.

Elixr has slowly, but surely become one of my regular coffee haunts. This particular store is on a quietish street off Walnut and 16th, and if you didn't know it was there, it would be easy to miss, which would be a shame. One of my favorite things about Elixr is the atmosphere. The coffee shop is quite large, by city standards, with plenty of options for various types of seating, from standard tables and chairs to a window countertop and a nice, big U-shaped couch. I've tried several drink options off of their menu, including chai lattes and various types of iced coffees, and they're all good, but I've recently found a new favorite: strawberry espresso, which is delicious hot or iced. Yum! Part of the appeal of any business is the service, and I've aleays received awesome service at Elixr. Every worker I've encountered has been both friendly and helpful. Highly tecommended!

Not to sound like a coffee snob, but this is the ONLY great coffee I've come across in several days in Philly. Black salt caramel latte -- YUM -- rare to surprise these tastebuds anymore, but that was GOOD. Tasty -- even decadent -- with all the right underlying coffee kick.

Great place to get coffee beans and drinks, especially the seasonal lattes, with a spacious interior and excellent service. This is my favorite spot in Philadelphia to buy coffee beans because racy bag comes with a free drink of any cost. A bag of coffee beans costs $20, and this time I got their salted caramel latte ($6) for free. The coffee itself is really delicious, and they have some unique flavors if you are into that. The interior is spacious with six two-person tables and a bunch of extra benches and chairs around. The service is always excellent.

The place I stayed in Philadelphia provided it's guests with a sample bag of Elixir. I loved it. So the next morning, when I headed out for coffee, Elixir it was. The ambiance was pretty low key. Lots of people rolling through on their way to work. Some people hanging out in seats but not as many as I would've thought. Menu wise, something called a Strawberry and Beetroot Oat Milk Latte caught my eye. I'm normally not a latte guy (try and pry that Cold Brew from my hands) but if a place is doing intriguing work with their lattes, well, I can be sucked into that. I got the Strawberry Beet Oatmilk Latte with espresso (you can also get it with matcha). I'm only slightly exaggerating when I say this is the best latte I've ever had. It was like a warm, vegan, strawberry milk with a hint of coffee. I was riding high the rest of the day with thoughts of this drink on my mind. I returned later and grabbed a cold brew with oatmilk. It was a fine cold brew, but I just kept drinking and regretting that I hadn't ordered another latte. When I roll through Philly, Elixir is on my must go places. For me, it's all because of that Strawberry Beet Oatmilk Latte.

This is my 3rd time to Elixr (twice in nashville) and finally in Philadelphia. Bag of coffee beans are around $17+/- based on the variety you choose. When you purchase a bag of coffee beans, you get a free beverage which mine was strawberry latte with ceremonial matcha. You can also get it with espresso if you prefer. Not too sweet but have good beetroot strawberry oatmilk flavor with smooth matcha finish. Definitely pretty to look at before mixed and delicious to enjoy after.

Echoing another review--- the strawberry oat milk latte is a 6/5. You should order it. My tummy and tastebuds are happy. Chocolate cake donut with glaze is a 4.5/5, also rated pretty high. Moreso for you all with a sugar tooth or those wanting to indulge with your caffeinated beverages. Maybe just a tad too sweet for me, but still good! Ambiance is a 4.5/5, lots of peeps were in chatting, socializing, studying, working-- good music playing. Maybe I wished there were more plants? Also more bathrooms? But I mean, overall, I still rate it all high. I will need to try out the other locations!

DRINKS I came in in the early afternoon and ordered their signature strawberry milk latte with espresso (the alternative is with matcha). The drink wasn't too sweet, and the strawberry flavor is present, but not too strong. The espresso didn't blend very well with the milk upon mixing, and I ended up drinking milk, blend, and then espresso separately. It's something I would try once, but I wouldn't prioritize it on your list of cafes to check out. The often have seasonal drinks available and classic ones as well, from drip coffees, cold brews, cortados, lattes (matcha, chai, espresso), iced teas, etc. Smoothies (coffee or green) are available as well. FOOD Assorted pastries are available for purchase daily, including croissants, bagels, donuts (from Dottie's), and more. Yogurt/granola are also available. SERVICE Service was standard; nothing of note. AMBIANCE The shop is a nice place to work/study. The place isn't loud, but there are enough conversations that give the place the "hum" of a workplace. Seats fill up quickly throughout the day, so expect to wait for a table or sit on the open sofas. PARKING There is no immediate parking nearby, but paid street parking is available on the Walnut Street at a limited capacity. The store is also located in an alley, so I would be careful when stopping by after dark.

Bro I don't know what they put in the coffee or pastries but it is so ELITE !!! For what reason?? Idk! I came here the first time by chance and then the other times I went back on purpose because their coffee is actually just good. I get the vanilla latte which comes out actually so creamy and the perfect sweetness. Their cinnamon bun is also so delicious and not too sweet either. I want to try their almond croissant but they're always sold out by the time I get there. The staff is also really accommodating too. One time they forgot the vanilla in my drinks but they just re added it. Although this is a place you could potentially do work at since I see a few others with their laptops, the place actually gets quite busy and loud and very crowded. There is an adequate amount of tables but there's always a bunch of people so getting a seat may take a while. However I would still come back because their coffee and pastries are just that good.

This spot is located on a busy street in the same building as PNC Bank so ambiance is quick, light bc it's usually the office workers who swing by this area. Tried their strawberry oat milk matcha with a shot of expresso and I was in love! They sell their expresso shots in 2s so I had split an order with a friend. Service was friendly and upbeat. The line was long but it moves quick and gave me the confirmation that this was going to be worth the wait. The Iced Strawberry & Matcha Oatmilk Latte is perfect for those who aren't coffee drinkers yet want a drink with caffeine that also tastes delicious. It was light and creamy, and the blend of strawberry and matcha flavors went so well together. Highly recommend!

Grabbed some Elixr on a hot day while en route to my hotel room and it was clutch! First thing's first--this is a roomier coffee shop and lots of people were on laptops working. The environment was a bit loud musically for my taste but with earbuds in, no big deal! They have easily accessible free cups of water which is great, and I strongly recommend you try the lemonade on a hot day... hits the spot. The iced mocha was also delightful. And I love their cups, which is neither here nor there but worth mentioning!

First of all the croissant was perfect, I got the one with 2 types of cheese and I loved it. I was blown away by what I tried next, the Strawberry Oat Milk Latte. It tasted like nostalgia if you were ever a fan of Strawberry Milk as a kid. Overall I highly recommend!

The line moves super fast if there is one, and you can catch all kinds of Philly residents grabbing their caffeine fix here. Students, remote workers, musicians, and tourists alike can find pastries and a cold brew and a comfy spot to sit. I went with a cold brew myself and it got me through tons of apartment tours and very long day. Shoutout to the awesome staff here that exudes community love and also make a mean hand pour over, it looks like. Looking forward to making this a regular haunt for meetings and work very soon!

We got - Cold Brew (5/5) - strawberry oat milk latte (6/5) (wow, it was a very strong drink and I can tell their espresso is very good!) - strawberry matcha latte (5/5) (we ordered this accidentally because the menu has strawberry matcha and regular latte on the same line. Make sure you specify whether matcha or regular latte....) Really good drinks and I loved the inside as well! Good ambience to read, hang out, or get work done! Atmosphere: Came in Sunday morning and it wasn't too loud, though I've been closer to noon time on weekends and it feels louder. A few folks working on laptops or meeting up with friends. Generally has seating for ~20 or so. Drinks: I've had their espresso drinks before and love the taste! I tried the matcha butterfly lemonade recently and loved the blend of lemonade and the slightly more bitter matcha. It's great they offer chai and matcha as specialty drinks! Overall: 5/5 - love the chill, warm atmosphere and great coffee. A solid spot for meeting up with friends or doing work on your own!

A little tucked away on a side street, this place has some great coffee blends! I tried the Qabballe blend from Ethiopia (Plum, Cherry, Sugar Cane) and it was hand poured on a Chemex. Flavorful and delicious! A little on the pricey side though and sadly my cup was not filled all the way. My friend got their famed strawberry matcha and said it was good, but she found a piece of the bamboo mixer in her drink after we had left :/ I'm sure it was an honest mistake and we were gone by the time we discovered it. I would probably go back for the coffee though!

There was a long line to order coffee and one drink made it worth it. The Strawberry Oatmilk Latte: 9.5/10 Can also add matcha or just have match** This latte tasted like a strawberry dream. It was so smooth and creamy. The latte honestly tasted like a melted strawberry milkshake. I would highly recommend this signature drink! It's very suit though and pretty heavy with the oat milk so just be prepared. Butterscotch Peppercorn Latte: 7/10 Although the espresso was good, the flavors here were not. The latte didn't taste anything like butterscotch. Despite the barista telling me it only had a sprinkle of peppercorn on the top, the latte was oddly savory. I have never tasted anything like this before but all in all I wouldn't get it again. The ambiance is nice. There are quite a few coaches and tables to sit at. To me, because of the long line and number of people, it felt a little too chaotic. I was happy to get in and out with my latte.

Cute little coffee shop! This coffee shop has a great ambience with wooden chairs and tables. I got the Matcha Oatmilk latte ($6), and it was soothing to have in the morning. I also tried the matcha donut, which tasted very homemade. There is a lot of seating available, but it does get busy around 10am on a Saturday morning. The only thing that was strange to me was the entrance was in an alleyway that looked like the type of alleyway you don't go through. Other than that, I have no complaints!

I spend a lot of time in Elixir studying. It's got a nice atmosphere, but get there early to secure a table especially if you want an outlet. I almost always get the strawberry oatmilk latte. Since I first had it, I've been addicted. The strawberry oatmilk on its own is amazing, not too sweet and weirdly nostalgic. Then it blends perfectly into the espresso once you mix it. An overall wonderful spot to check out!

The bottom tasted like Nesquik strawberry milk and the top tasted like a standard matcha drink. I swirled by funky straw and the concunction was immaculate! The matcha became sweeter and smoother. I was unable to finish it because of all the sugar as I typically drink drip or an Americano. Would definitely recommend for any matcha lover!

Went on a whim while shopping on walnut and it did not disappoint. Boyfriend ordered the strawberry matcha and I got the chocolate mocha. Both great but strawberry matcha was quite an interesting combo - in a good way. Their mocha has more chocolate than coffee and I love that. I have previously tried their hot chocolate and it was delicious and creamy! I could definitely tell they use high quality coffee and matcha and for the quality of their ingredients, they are quite reasonably priced.

This is located in a bit of a side street and easy to walk past! They've got a good amount of seating inside, with benches that make it a great place to catch up with friends. I loved all the interesting drinks on the menu and went with the strawberry oat milk latte, which you can get topped with espresso or matcha. On the first sip, it was a lot sweeter than I expected. I wanted more of the bitterness of the matcha to come through. The strawberry mixed with oat milk was divine though, and it was a really refreshing beverage for a very hot day!

My strawberry matcha oatlatte was amazing and the black guy behind the counter was very friendly and nice. He gave me the free mozzarella croissant on the house ( well.. he said that they're going to throw the pastries out anyway) but still.. grateful for it. Will definitely be back for the real latte.

My very last experience before lyfting to the airport. Cute place + excellent drinks... love the strawberry oat milk (one in a hot latte another in an iced match). And how sweet that a barista at Suprema Coffee (a tiny, cute neighborhood spot) recommended it ;)
