El Pan De La Chola

Actually went there for good croissants but since I was hungry and read many good comments about their sandwiches I wanted to try one and ordered a Capresse sandwich. I it was good but a bit salty. Then ordered the almond croissant. It came a bit warm so I was very excited, but I must say I was disappointed again (why is it so hard to find proper croissants in Lima ??🥺). Anyway it was a little crispy on the outside and this gave me hope but it was not crispy enough and inside was not very fresh. When I went there it was around 4 o’clock so maybe thats the reason and the taste was good so maybe if I can I would like to go there in the morning and try a very fresh one to evaluate it better.

My husband and I love this place so much that we are there every weekend for Brunch. They have a great selection of breakfast food, fresh juices and great coffee. We absolutely love sitting on the second floor over the kitchen, watching chefs cook with such attention to detail!

So lucky to find this place with fantastic bread! It's not easy easy to find good bread in South America, but this is THE place. The croissants were to die for. A part of that, great coffee, great smoothies, friendly service, although quite slow, wonder how they handle it when they're full... Cool raw interior with a lot of attention to detail. You can watch the staff baking at the back of the café.

Incredible place! This bakery it's the best place for bread lovers, so many different types of bread with different flavours, and sandwiches that are amazing. They also have small sweets like brownies or cereal bars, and great juices and excellent coffee! A place that everyone should visit at least once.

What I ordered: capresse sandwich and Americano Quality: excellent. The flavors were perfectly balanced with the acidity of the tomato and heartiness of the bread and herbs. Would I get again? Maybe

They show true dedication to their art. Great coffee great bakery and they even include an ice cream cart. International hipster style decor. Ask for an avocado sandwich. They moved the restaurant one block over to 1081 La Mar. they still have the bakery for pick up only

(note: I ordered delivery via Rappi) I had the chia pudding, and the sandwich capresse. Both were VERY satisfying, vegetarian-friendly, and reasonably priced. Recommended!

Okay, I know every foodie can be over the top at times, but please visit this cafe and try their avocado toast. The house bread used is fantastic. Also, their “cromuffin” is one of the best kronut style treats I’ve ever tasted.
