Probably the best restaurant in Mexico! Driving through the tunnel and stepping out of the SUV The view of the ocean and the resort built into the rock walls is amazing. Head down to the tequila bar and pick out something for the walk to the lower bar just off the pool. Sit listen to the awesome band and finish your tequila. Walk further down to the champagne bar and sit and watch the mist as the waves explode off the rocks. Great selection of champagne & wine Dinner was brilliant from the Sea bass - Amber Jack - Blue Fin or Totoaba that was served on top of sauerkraut & bacon. The Totoaba was the table favorite. The food staff & scenery made a great way to close out our Cabo stay If you get cold easily bring a wrap or light sweater as the ocean breeze can pick up at night.

Personally, from all restaurants we have tried in Cabo that are same style as this one, this one is our favorite in terms of food and experience. The food is extremely good and different. They have mocktails. The resort is nice. We were surprised the restaurant was full on a Monday night during low season in Cabo, so make a reservation early.

Beautiful restaurant! We had a great meal at El Farallon at the Waldorf Astoria. The views, food, service, atmosphere and vibe are all wonderful. They usually have live music and the setting in the early evening is perfect. They have a prix fixe menu but allow you to choose from various options. The prix fixe allows them to provide quicker service so that they can turn tables and accommodate more guests to meet their high demand. Reservations need to be made a few weeks in advance in order to get a table before 8:30pm. It is definitely a nice, romantic atmosphere with great food and service! (The pictures are from our pre-dinner drinks at the hotel bar because our dinner reservations were after dark as we could not get earlier reservations).

El Farallon was a unique dining experience. The restaurant is situated on the side of the mountain. The amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and the waves crashing on the rocks below was spectacular. The food and drinks were delicious. Most dishes were in the $125 range. Two sides and a dessert was included with that. The menu changes based on the seafood available. Mixed drinks were about $20-25. Wines varied in price range. The lowest price was about $30 a glass. Champagne at the Champagne Bar was on average $50 a glass. This restaurant is definitely an indulgence, but was well worth the experience.

There was great hospitality from all members of the staff, including the chauffer and check-in. The prices are expected to be $350 USD dinner for two, and there is live music. The menu is mostly seafood, and it does come with the appetizer and desserts of the chef's selection. They accommodated my allergies and it is worth a visit even just for drinks. Skip the oysters and amberjack.

This was an excellent dinner. We did the prefix menu to try a little bit of everything. We sat right on the edge of the cliff, which was gorgeous! The staff is very attentive and friendly. After the sun sets, it gets very chilly and the staff brought us out quilts to wrap up in while we finished our dinner. It was lovely!

Hands down the best dining experience I have ever had. They took us to our first table of the night for drinks and then escorted us to the most gorgeous table right by the cliff. We did a chefs sampler sort of dinner, everything on the dish was amazing.

The food is really good, even for vegetarians and vegans. If you are in Cabo, you should definitely come to this place at least once

This restaurant is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful in every single way possible. I will never stop raving about this place as it was me and my mom's favorite experience in Cabo. We made a reservation weeks before for 5:00pm. We arrived and we're seated in their waiting area, overlooking the ocean. It took a while to get us a table, even though we were one of the first ones there, but we didn't mind because we were too busy taking pictures lol. They even offer you a glass of wine or champagne while you wait. All the tables are outside on the edge of the cliff. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks while you're eating and listen to the live music they have at 7pm daily. For the dinner itself, they come and explain the menu to you. The menu revolves each day depending on the catch of the day. A lobster tail was about $250 USD but they were huge. We ended up deciding on the shrimp. Was it 4 pieces of shrimp for $100 USD each? Yes... but was it worth it? Also yes! The food included a 4 course meal, we had clam chowder, appetizers, main course, and dessert. All were amazing. Note that there is a 15% service charge and tip is not included. We ended up spending around $330 USD with tip for 2 people. If you have extra to spend on dinner, this place is a highly recommended!

JUST OK. The reason this rating is so low is because we were charged almost double the cost of our dinner to the room. BEWARE AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CHARGES if you stay at the Waldorf. Initially, I had the scallops (which has included appetizers) and a mocktail, my husband had the sea bass. In the end the bill came out to about $250. But on the room charges, we were charged $237.00 TWICE and charged for 2 drinks at $21.00 each. Meaning they charged us $500 when we had signed the check for $250. How insane is that?! Anyways- they refunded us the money so it's fine but I'm very curious as to how many guests don't look over their charges and are being up-charged like this! Back to the food: overall I'd say the seafood was the best choice to get here, the appetizers were all just ok, but the scallops and sea bass were so fresh and tender I think it was actually worth the cost with the beautiful views. Overall, this was definitely a more upscale restaurant in Cabo, the waiters and waitresses are very accommodating and attentive, and service was great. I do think that LA is on a different level in terms of fine dining, but El Farallon did a great job. The views and ambiance are really what you pay for. Not sure if we'd come back but it was a memorable experience for sure.

What an extremely disappointing experience. To guarantee a cliff side table, diners are require to order a pre-fixe Baja Bounty menu at around $225 pp without beverages. Comprised of 4 courses (Soup, Appetizer, Mix Grill, and Dessert with some sides to share), the meal was utterly unremarkable. Cocktails were average and par for the course, not cheap. I would give the food an overall C with some items even lower. Uninspired dishes, lacking of seasoning, nothing to highlight the true bounty that the menu advertises. Yes, we were seated cliffside but almost any other table would have sufficed. Perhaps, the Ala carte menu would have been better? Will never know. Service was slow and clunky. Nowhere close to the level you expect at an a) Waldorf Astoria and b) a $500 meal. There are some incredible restaurants in the area that blow this out of the water (ie. Manta) I would make this a hard pass.

Beautiful views located on the cliff at the Wardolf Astoria resort in los Cabos. Beautiful restaurant and a must do experience when visiting Cabo! We ordered the 4 course meal which was very good. All the fish dishes were amazing. One of the best meals I ate in Cabo. The wait staff was also very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, drinks, food, refills etc. They were very attentive

The architecture it self is a work of art. The restaurant is built into a rock mountain so to speak. Going through the tunnel to arrive to the restaurant/resort is really cool. We had a drink at the bar over looking the ocean prior to our meal. You can walk or be driven in a golf cart to the restaurant. The ceviche, the egg roll, the salad was all exceptional. I was not blown away by the fish I ordered but the service was amazing and the sounds of the waves from the ocean pushed it over the top. They sung happy birthday to me in Spanish and English. It was a really cool dining experience.

The ambiance is spectacular, among the best I've experienced. I don't mind paying 5 star prices, but with it comes expectations. One expectation is that when a party of 15 sit down behind me, that my servers do not disappear for the duration of my meal. Another is that you do not 'forget" to serve one of the courses. In summary, the servers were not friendly, they were not well-trained, and did not seem to enjoy their job. Finally, the food was "fine", but if you are going to leave me with a butter knife to use on the Waygu streak, then you need to be confident that said knife will actually perform its intended purpose. It failed to do so, but in fairness to the butter knife,, I'm not sure an actual steak knife would have either. Again, 5 star prices require 5 star service and 5 star food preparation. On this night neither occurred.

The place is beautiful and romantic however, the wait time just to get a table was over 40 minutes (with reservation). Our reservation was for 8:15pm and didn't get our first course until 9:30pm. The food was flavorless. My husband ordered the lobster ($160) and it was over cooked and impossible to chew. We had to send it back. You're basically paying for the view and experience. If you're looking for good food this is NOT the place to go.

This restaurant resides within the Waldorf Astoria. El Farallon sits on the side of a cliff with breathtaking ocean views. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. We were able to watch the sunset which was beautiful. We went on an extremely windy day and the waves were crashing at the top. It was so amazing to see. The staff offered blankets to keep the wind and spray off. I guarantee this will be one of the most memorable experiences you've ever had if you are able to go. My favorite course was the sea bass, lobster tail and wagyu strip. You must go if in Cabo!

The view, the sounds of the ocean and the music make it a great place for a date. There was a live band playing. The food was tasty but I would have expected a bit more flavor or creativity from the dishes. They all seemed pretty basic for the price. They checked so many boxes with the environment, presentation, service and just slightly missed the mark on flavor. Nothing stood out as a must have if I were to return. Caution: sitting close to the edge, you may get a splash or some mist from the waves.

We were so excited for this restaurant and it was by far one of the most disappointing and expensive meals of our lives. We booked this months in advance and paid for the "baha bounty" menu which guarantees you a "table of the edge" and was a little over $350 usd for the two of us. Do NOT book this if it's still available. Every party practically gets a table on the cliff regardless of whether you book this or not which is extremely deceptive. The restaurant itself is shadowed by the cliff it sits on so for the sunset you are actually facing east. At the host stand we were asked if we were staying on the property. It's a weird question because that's something the restaurant should already know. It is at the Waldorf after all. We said no and were brought to one of the least desirable tables in my opinion at the beginning of the restaurant. They clearly save the better tables for hotel guests. We tried to be positive and were still excited for the food. Looking back at the menu they emailed us prior I realize we actually did not receive a soup. On our printed menu our meal actually started which the saddest excuse for a salad I have experienced in my life. This was followed by three more courses of lukewarm and inedible food. The wagyu strip loin and tiny amount of octopus were the only savory parts we enjoyed. Everything else was practically untouched. The palette cleanser was peach juice and finally the brownie dessert was good but tiny like all the other portions we received. The complimentary dessert for our anniversary was the driest sponge cake they obviously bring in from a vendor because no way a pastry chef at a resort of this caliber would make and serve that. The a la carte menu they write on huge chalkboards to bring to tables who did not book our experience actually sounded pretty good and was MUCH cheaper! The service itself was good and the manager ended up refunding half of what we paid but I still wish we never went. It really put a damper on the second to last day of our trip. People obviously go here for the experience and the view which we found pretty lackluster since you are actually not even facing the sunset. If you want a delicious meal with the best views on a cliff go the 20 minutes to Cocina Del Mar and you will truly be blown away.

It's one of the restaurants at Waldorf Astoria (see separate review on hotel bar). The restaurant offers a romantic and scenic ambiance, making it perfect for special occasions. Chef Miriam Jimenez expertly prepares the freshest catch of the day, sourced directly from local fishermen, essentially sea-to-table. Sitting close to the ocean, guests enjoy breathtaking views as the waves crash against the ancient rock formations. Watching the sunset from this vantage point is truly magical. The staff at El Farallón is attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience and they pay attention to details, as do I. Nothing was missed. We arrived after walking along a corridor where we were able to take in the hotels beauty. note: Must find a way to stay there once... We were greeted with the Champagne bar which was the perfect start to this amazing evening. Once our table was ready, which was shortly after we enjoyed a glass of champagne, we were met with what I would say is the most gorgeous view I have ever had dinner at. Every bite we had and the wein pairings were on point and the highlight was when we were even given a tequila tasting and some history to go along with the evening. This evening was one of the most memorable moments in my life and I have my best friend to thank who spoiled me on this very special milestone trip.

Visiting Cabo with some friends and decided to take a look at this popular restaurant that over looks the water. You can literally see the waves coming in at full force during your meal. The ambiance is phenomenal... everything is beautiful and romantic. Wonderful for a date/anniversary or birthday. The service is great everyone is very attentive and respectful. The food portions are just enough but unfortunately I would have liked to be able to take some home. I personally got the red snapper. It was soft and full of flavor! The lettuce with bacon and balsamic reduction was very top tier. Definitely would highly recommend this restaurant! I will definitely come back to see the sunset. Price wise: We had a party of 6 and the bill came out to $1100.

There are a few times in one's life that they get to have both their heart and belly full at the same time . El Farallon is one such special place. Everything from the ambience, the views of the Pacific Ocean to the hospitality and the food, it was all overwhelmingly great. We got the lobster and the seabass. Both were impeccable and I loved every moment of being there, we ended up spending 4 hours there

You can choose a restaurant for the food or the experience. Fortunately you get both here. The service is an A+, the ambience is an A+++, and the food was outstanding. They also had some excellent music playing during dinner. Sitting on the cliff with the ocean next you was a great experience. The resort where the restaurant is located, Waldorf, is something to see as well. We took our guests with us and they loved it. It is $$$ but well worth it.

Do you want dinner with a fabulous view? Do you want to converse with the sea spraying across your table and the wind blowing your hair around in the summer sun? Are you a fan of champagne bars and stellar service? AND do you want to drop a cool grand on dinner for four? Then this is your restaurant and know that you are definitely paying for the view (and prob that tunnel the Waldorf made through the cliffside). El Farallon is the perfect place to celebrate an occasion in an extraordinary way! You have a beautiful walk through the bar area and can see the fresh fish and seafood that will be prepared. The whole experience is WOW. We ordered shrimp to start with since they were giant in the display and my brother in law got eager eyes and wanted to try them, lol. They were delicious! Were they 4 for $60 or so delicious? Probably not. But if you're going to splurge, do it right. Note that you get complimentary starters and little desserts with your meal. There were plenty of fresh fish options which are listed each night on the board. Choose two sides with each entree. The sides like the risotto and mac n cheese were creamy and buttery. I would have prefered steamed veggies and a cucumber salad with my albacore. We also got additional sauces with the fish making it a pretty rich and heavy meal. We finished our family dinner off with a delicious tres leches cake (we had pre-ordered for my sister's birthday). It was an absolute winner and nicely decorated with fresh berries. We even took it home to finish. The only bummer here were the cocktails. Skip them because they were weak and unimaginative. Wine would have been a better choice. Overall, it was quality seafood and great service. A spot to remember! I wouldn't just eat here because you're hungry and want to visit the Waldorf on a whim ;)

We had such an amazing dining experience here. We came for the views and left impressed with their amazing service and delicious food. The place also gets booked up, so I recommend make a reservation well in advance. Upon arrival, they sit you down in their champagne lounge, while they get your table ready. You get decent view of the ocean, but we were not interested in champagne. Quickly soon after they take you to your table with more fantastic views of the ocean. My wife and I both ordered a cocktail to start our night off. We both ordered their Chipotle and Peach. It came with Mezcal, orange liquor, maple and chipotle sauce, mango purée and a couple of peach slices. The drink was very delicious. I did want to order another one but the food came kind of quick so never got a chance to. They don't give out paper menus, instead they have a guy walk around with a chalk board stand with and English and Spanish menu. He literally goes through the entire menu and describes everything in fine detail. He really did a fantastic job. Although the prices seem a little high, I had to remind myself that the price also includes a soup, trio of appetizers, your main entree & two sides and a dessert. So essentially a four course meal for around $100 USD is really not bad at all. They started us off with their soup of the day. I honestly don't remember the name of it, but it tasted very similar to a clam chowder. Really nice presentation with them pouring the soup into the bowl for you. The trio of appetizers were a ceviche, a salad and a two fried balls. The ceviche was delicious and tasted very fresh. My wife ordered their Huachinango "Red Snapper" with a side of Penne Pasta. The red snapper was really good, but Penne Pasta with pesto sauce was nothing to rave about. I ordered their Cabrilla "Sea Bass" with a side of Rissoto and roasted tomato with blue cheese crust on top. Both sides were very delicious, and the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and very delicious. The dessert was also exceptional. I can definitely see myself returning next time I'm in Cabo.

Unfortunately, I was not too happy with my food experience here. It was too expensive for the mediocre food that my partner and I received. We basically spent that money on the view that we were able to have. The meal is full course and they have you select your main course with quite a few options and two side dishes. They revolve their side dishes and there were five that we could choose from. The appetizer, soup, and dessert are already set. The cauliflower soup was delicious, so we were off to a great start. However, the appetizers were pretty mediocre. Nothing special and overpowering in their flavors. Then for our main dish the steak was chewy and not cooked well. They also do not have an appropriate knife to cut the steak, so it was difficult to even get it into our mouths. The amberjack was also very average. I did not like a single side dish other than the asparagus, but it's very difficult to mess up grilled asparagus... lastly the desserts were way too sweet. The actual restaurant and view though were amazing! The atmosphere is quite and romantic~ the restaurant is on a cliff that overlooks the ocean and was absolutely beautiful. I realized that you are paying for the view and location more so than the food. Also be careful in heels, the floor is uneven and it was really hard to walk. You also do need to do some walking to get to the restaurant. Won't be coming back here

This was our second time to eat here. The first time was amazing. This time we waited for a hour and a half with a reservation and the food was not at all worth the price. My fish was over cooked and we sent it back. The view and presentation get an A+. We aren't planning on returning to eat any time soon. The bill was $670 USD for 4 people.

I don't think I will ever have the words to describe enjoying a delicious meal, during a summer sunset while being serenaded by the ocean crashing along the cliffs and a Spanish guitar in the background. My goodness all of my senses were engaged! The food was good -- I'm certain we paid for the ambiance and exceptional wait staff. I would love to dine at the El Farallon again. It was an experience that was worth every penny.

One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. Been a few times, as a couple and with the kids. The food is amazing, the view, the entrance, the ambiance, the service. All is top notch. My kids still say they had the best soup they have ever had here - never mind the surf & turf. The entire experience is splendid. A MUST if you want an upscale experience in Cabo!

The views are absolutely breathtaking, some of the best we experienced in Cabo between the cliffs, water, beach and vicinity to the moon! There was even a fireworks show. The service staff is very attentive and reached out weeks in advance to ensure our experience was to our liking. They went above and beyond to ensure my boyfriend's birthday was special with a personalized note and champagne. The reason for my rating is the food, considering the price the food was lackluster and not the quality I would expect from the Waldorf. Our steak was tough, the food overall tasted bland and the platting was subpar. We had better food at our all inclusive...My total bill for the fixed menu and bottle of champagne was just over $1,000. I've had meals for far less than were significantly better. The following day our captain our our boat charter said it's well known that the food here is mid. Very disappointed in the restaurant and would not come back regardless of the views because it's north worth the value.

Yes the menu changes daily but the experience and price overall is perfect. The portions could actually be share by two people.

I had this restaurant saved for months and I was so excited when my husband had made a reservation for my birthday. Trying to get a reservation was a bit tricky because the reservations fill up fast especially during sunset hours. You do need a credit card to make a reservation. The views, music, and location are incredible and the service is great too. The only thing that is very disappointing is the food. We were so bummed because you are paying a hefty amount for food that lacks so much flavor. I get that they are emphasizing on the "experience" but you'd expect better quality food. Your dinner consists of bread, soup, appetizers, your entree and sides and dessert. You also get a cute treat for your birthday. I guess you are paying for the views and experience . Also, you might get soaked during your dinner because of the waves hitting against the rocks. You are warned about this as they sit you down at your table. I honestly wouldn't come back and don't think the amount we paid was worth it.

Such an amazing experience from the moment we enter the Gates until the moment we left. We got there a little early and have a cocktail at the hotel, which was overlooking the ocean. The cocktails are expensive, but fabulous! After drinks, they took us by golf cart through the resort to the restaurant, which is on a cliff... Hence the name... Overlooking the ocean, and from what I could see, every table has a spectacular view There is a champagne bar, which is pretty bougie and fun. The menu is a prix fixe menu. We ordered Sea bass, asparagus, potatoes, bluefin, tuna, risotto, and brussels sprouts. For dessert, we ordered profiteroles and churros. Everything was delicious, but I was especially blown away by the brussels sprouts and sashimi & octopus starter they brough. We also have the wine pairing which they said was small glasses, but they felt like full glasses. Not that I'm complaining, but I did leave a little drunk!!! :-P What I loved the most is that it was a really romantic restaurant. Normally, I don't think about restaurants as romantic, but this one truly is, and it felt like a very special occasion. I definitely look forward to going back every time I go to Cabo.

One of the most spectacular settings I have ever been at a restaurant. Much easier to get into this restaurant if staying at the hotel property. However for the price, the walk up cafeteria feel was not A vibe. Nearly $300 for basic service. The food was spectacular and fresh, the setting was ultra romantic, it's a completely outdoor restaurant, unparalleled experience.

This was our third visit to Los Cabos but our first visit to El Farallon - it will definitely not be our last! This restaurant was fantastic across the board - ambiance, food and service. To get there, you have to drive through a tunnel that ends with a view of the Pacific Ocean. You then get a guided tour along the side of the mountain to arrive at a dining spot with breathtaking views. Your adventure starts at an optional champagne bar while you wait for your table to be ready. Walking past the outdoor kitchen you end at a table above the rocks and surf. If you time it right, you get a spectacular sunset while you enjoy your meal. My tuna was the best I have ever had The apps and sides and desserts all added up to a great special occasion meal. Worth the splurge.

El Farallón es el restaurante con la vista más espectacular que el resto de la costa. Situado en el Waldorf Astoria, se necesita una reservación en el restaurante antes de entrar en el resort. Cuando se entra, asegúrase de caminar por el terreno para explorar la arquitectura fantástica. El Farallón está sobre la playa pacífica, situado en un acantilado. El Farallón Restaurant is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind gem in San Jose Los Cabo. There's nothing negative to say about it--the food is great, the service is wonderful, and the prices reflect the exclusive nature of the place. Yes, I would definitely go again. It also offers the most wonderful sunset views in Cabo.

A stunning restaurant built along the edge of the Pacific Ocean against a backdrop of steep cliffs! Our villa was perched right about this restaurant and we could not wait to dine there. When you finally wind yourself through the resort to reach the check in you are lead to a champagne bar to await your seating ! Prices here are stupid expensive and they actually forced our group of 8 to order from a set menu even though half our group was vegan . The vegan food was ok but the meat and seafood were outstanding. Service was very good until grabbing the check. Water was actually misting on us from the waves crashing into the cliffs . It was glorious . The resort is spectacular with amazing fire walls along the ocean . I learn my lesson coming here with a group but would definitely bring my gorgeous wife here again with just us !

This place came highly recommended for our first ever visit in Cabo. The view itself is so incredible. The experience of driving through the tunnel to the Waldorf Astoria was amazing. It was particularly beautiful at Christmas time with all the lights. I loved how the hotel and the restaurant were built into the cliffs and hope to stay here one day. We found the food, service, and overall experience incredible. While this meal was very expensive, we were extremely happy with it from the soft, live music to the beautiful ambience to the incredible service. Be prepared to spend money, but this is a once in a lifetime restaurant worth experiencing.

The restaurant has moved to prix fixe ONLY and it's gone way downhill - as has the service. Gone is the "experience" of being able to view/choose your main and side dishes. You now have to accept the pairings they choose to put together for the entire restaurant for that evening (they will modify slightly in the case of allergies, etc., but caution if you request, as in the case of our table, the replacements were even worse/more boring). Most of the appetizer items I wasn't a fan of (I don't really like fried or shellfish). The main course had a huge sampling of fish that I also wouldn't have ordered (and the prawns were massively overdone and the tuna was so heavily seasoned that it overpowered the fish). To make matters worse, the service has gone down exponentially. We were hurried out of the champagne bar, only to sit at our table for over an hour before getting the soup course. It wasn't until we complained about the lack of attention to our large party that service started being more prompt. Unless they bring back a la carte, I don't think anyone in my group will be returning (which is a huge statement as all 8 of us would agree this used to be our favorite place in all of Cabo).

Extremely disappointed in the food . The only reason to eat here is for the view. Fish was served raw in middle. Flavors of food were lackluster.

OH MY... being a picky eater and rarely eating meat, sometimes it's hard to find things on the menu, but this place has a special vegetarian/vegan menu and it's delicious!!!! This was by far my favorite restaurant Visited in Cabo. Great service, great views, and great food!!! The bread was so soft and fluffy, I wanted to put some in my purse to take home.

Absolutely STUNNING! My only "regret" is not returning during sunset. However, dinner was amazing. Sitting on the coast, watching and listening to waves crash against the rocks while toasting a delicious bubbly is all I needed to make this one of the best birthdays! The food was good, not great. We had sea bass, asparagus and risotto. The chocolate birthday cake was yummy. Excellent service...and again...the VIEWS! And the ride to the restaurant was just as exciting when you turn the corner and see that view when you arrive. Can't wait to come back.

Five stars for the location and ambiance!!!! We've been here twice both times service has been impeccable!!! The meat and seafood is absolutely delicious! I'm not big On foods that taste "fishy" but I first tried parrotfish here and I got hooked!!! This is a great celebration location; think birthday, engagement, anniversary... I actually can't wait to return.

Wow! This restaurant is so beautiful. My boyfriend & I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria and every worker recommended we try the place. The beautiful restaurant is located at the very edge of the resort, on the side of the mountain. The view is spectacular. Be sure to go right before sundown, so you can grab the beautiful view. Upon arriving, you check in with the hostess. The hostess then seats you to the Champagne Bar, where you can grab drinks prior to getting seated at your main table. Once your table is available, the hostess seats you to your table in the main restaurant. They provide blankets for everyone, since it does get breezy. Such a great touch! The menu has many options, with daily catches. The waiter presents you all of your options. Very detailed explanations! You can choose a main entree, usually a fish or some type of seafood and two sides They provide you with appetizers and dessert as well. All options change daily. One night, I chose sea bass which very flavorful. Another night I chose the blue fin tuna, which was to die for. For appetizers, we got soup, sashimi, ceviche and salad. For sides, we had seafood risotto, truffle cauliflower, gnocchi parmesan and macaroni & cheese. For dessert, we got churros and chocolate, as well as a Mexican style brownie inside a banana leaf. Loved that brownie! Overall, the everything was great. The staff were very kind. The waiters did a great job of explaining all the dishes and serving them in a timely manner. The ambiance was to die for. The sound of the rocks hitting the ocean, the breeze, the spray of salt water on your face & food, and beautiful sky with lots stars - amazing! I definitely recommend this restaurant. Very romantic and had an amazing experience celebrating my anniversary with my boyfriend.

Truly mediocre. Not worth the trip. Save your time and money. Everything was fine, excitement rivals the Olive Garden.

Visited El Farallon back in 2013 and hadn't been back since. I remember our first experience was great, but truth be told, I was not really into food back then. Fast forward 10 years later, all I live for is good food, good quality food. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two people who gave us a tour of the grounds and also took our photos. We then walked up to the restaurant. Man, what a beautiful view (see photos). There is nothing like it! Try to get an early reservation so you can see the sunset. On this visit, I discovered that I had missed out 10 years ago. My lack of appreciation was at its worst back in the day. Thank gawd I had a good reason to come back, as we were celebrating two friends' 40th bday. In a nutshell, we all agreed this was one of the Top 3 restaurants we have ever set foot in. The food was beyond delish, the drinks magical (one glass is like 1 1/2 servings) and the service? Say no more. The best we have ever experienced; thank you ERIC and BRIAN. The food is of really good quality, and they use the freshest ingredients. Us three girls love to eat, and we ended up sharing a 12oz filet and 6oz seabass. This came with two sides each for a total of four. The sides are not large, but you won't need much bc the dinner is a 4-course meal and they provide you with some apps, a salad and dessert. The dessert we received (see photo) were a part of the dinner, however the larger cake was the bday cake. We had LOTS to eat. Not bad for a $340 bill that included the 15% gratuity. We tipped a little more bc it was very worth it. I would def recommend a visit here regardless of whether you are celebrating a special occasion or not. It will have everything you are looking for.

This food was phenomenal!!! The atmosphere was fantastic! Amazing Service ! I can't wait to go back again!!! If you are ever in Cabo it's a must! Everything was soo fresh!

This was such a vibe, we arrived at the Waldorf and we were escorted to the restaurant and given a little history lesson on the homes and the resort. We were sat at the champagne bar and they took our drink orders. Menu: Pre Fixe. I wish could upload the videos. Everything was great and I was stuffed by time the entree came. Very reasonably priced. I believe my shrimp were $65. (Not including tax and gratuity.) Ambiance: very chill with live music in the background. I noticed all of the staff except the hostess were men. I found that interesting. I totally see why this place books up so fast. I definitely would return. Oh did I mention we got to see the moon rise.?! I highly suggest you GO!

All you need to know besides a list of 10 restaurants where there is better food for the money, is that I ordered a bottle of California Chardonnay "Flowers" 2022 off the menu for $250.00. The bill didn't include the service charge of 15%, or the $40 taxes, coming yo a grand total of $327.00. My wife ruined my meal by showing me after the bottle was opened that it sells for $54.99. But the food is totally average, the portions have become embarrassingly small and the value (quality of the food for the money) is at an all time low. Been there 10x in the last many years and each year I say "this is it", NOW IT IS FOr CERTAIN. No view is worth this bill. Now if you don't care about getting ripped off for average food, this is the place to go. My suggestion, try Comal, Picaro, Aberojites, Manta, Acre or even some of the tourist traps are better because their food is as good and their cost is literally "half". This restaurant has become the biggest rip off in Cabo, and I have no problem paying top dollar for a quality meal, they used to bring your side dishes family style for the table, now they come in these tiny, adorable skillets that have 3 mouthfuls per skillet. Our second time there. Wasn't a pleasant experience, but the service was good, not doubt. Just the food seemed to be not as wonderful as we remembered.

The service was excellent along with the food and the selections. Such a great atmosphere. Very relaxing. Would love to come back here again
