Review as a pilgrim: an amazing place to visit but also to stay, the prices are fair for accommodation and dinner and breakfast. Super clean and very nice welcome, definitely can recommend to a pilgrim. Check in is behind the church, you can see it on the picture, definitely come back as a visitor, thank you very much

Amazing Abbey, you immediately feel the presence of God from the first step. The monks are loving and inviting. It really a place of prayer and Spritual growth

Beautiful church with nice horse stables in the back. We enjoyed the church bells and petting the horses. we didn’t need tickets. Parking spots were available nearby (weekday)

Very nice place to visit. No photos or videos allowed inside the Church. It is very ornately decorated with wonderful murals on the ceiling.

Such a wonderful pilgrimage I had! The interior is quite detailed and just magnificent.

We have been planning this pilgrimage for over year and it didn't disappoint us. It was arduos trip for 2 seniors from the Philippines and having seen the Black Madonna and the Abbey/Cathedral it was well worth the trip. If you have the chance to visit this Catholic site stay two or more days and savor the grandeur of the Holy Site.

Beautiful monastery not to be missed. Great hikes all around and a lovely village with cafes and restaurants.

Visited on Zürich holiday. In my experience its always empty, no matter the time you visit. Also its free, you dont have to pay entry, however you can donate to the Abbey in little boxes or light a candle and pay 2CHF. Love the intricate designs and I wish modern architecture included them more. It snowed last time I went (24 April 2024), and it gets pretty chilly since its a pretty high altitude so I recommend to bring a jacket with you if you can.
