This hidden gem specializes in dürüm that sets a new standard for Turkish street food. The magic starts with their incredibly flaky bread, which provides the perfect wrapper for their expertly prepared meats. Both their chicken and beef options are standout choices – each prepared fresh to order with a perfect blend of seasonings that enhance rather than overwhelm the meat's natural flavors.
What makes Dürümzade particularly special is their willingness to customize orders to your preferences. Whether you want to skip certain vegetables or adjust the ingredients to your taste, they're happy to accommodate, ensuring each wrap is exactly how you like it.
The freshness of their ingredients is evident in every bite, and their attention to detail shows in how they prepare each dürüm. The meat is consistently juicy and well-seasoned, while the bread achieves that perfect balance of crispy and chewy textures that great dürüm demands.
For anyone seeking authentic Turkish dürüm that doesn't compromise on quality or taste, this place delivers a memorable experience that will have you planning your next visit before you've finished your meal.

Good but very known among everyone. Quite touristy specially because Anthony Bourdian went there. The place is good and lives up to its hype but too popular for my opinion

We went to this solely because it featured in Anthony Bourdian's TV programme in Istanbul. We decided to order three wraps, the one Bourdain said was his favourite along with a liver and a lamb wrap.
We took them back to our apartment and ate them. They were well cooked and tasty, and we both preferred AB's favourite, which was the Adana a wrap of minced beef.
They were all tasty and slightly spicy.
The cost was 200 lira per wrap, which is about 50 lira more than the surrounding outlets.
Nearly all the street food we have had in Istanbul has been great.

I looooved the durum here. It was amazing. We arrived a bit late and the kind gentleman said that we had to change our dishes since they didn’t have that specific one anymore. But anyway we ended up eating a very decent kebab. The place is small and not really suitable to sit. It’s mostly like a takeaway place. U shouldn’t expect a restaurant vibe. But the people are so nice and welcoming, and if ur willing to sit, they will find a place for you. Loved the experience.

I recently visited a charming small restaurant next to the hotel I stayed in during my trip to Turkey, and I was thoroughly impressed. Despite its modest size, the food was exceptionally tasty.
My daughter has a gluten allergy, so I informed the worker that no bread should touch her kebab. He followed my instructions precisely. When I visited a second time, he remembered my order, which was a nice touch.
On my third visit, I accidentally handed him 600 LR instead of the correct amount. To my surprise, he promptly returned the excess money, highlighting the restaurant's honesty and integrity—a rarity in many places.
I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Everytime I go to Istanbul I make a point to stop by here. Sadly this time it was closed for renovations. But aside from that this place has one of the best Adana kebab I have ever tried. Hoping to stop by again next time when it’s opened.
