"An aromatic treat for the senses When you enter the store, the combined aromas of all the scented soaps, candles and other products is a lovely surprise. You’ll also be surprised by some of the inventive soap “flavors” – salted caramel, for example, and Yard’s (a local brewery) Philadelphia Pale Ale. Besides the soaps and candles, there are enough hair, face and body/spa products to get you well on your way to aroma therapeutic bliss. I’m a fan of the delightfully scented soy candles named after Philadelphia locations. The selections change with the seasons, so there is always something new to sniff! This is a great place to shop for gifts and the themed gift sets come in categories suitable for men, women, and good doggies."

My whole family loves Steve; always have, always will. We supported his store in the early years, the barber years, and now with the new store. Though we moved out of the city, we still get our soap and have it shipped to us and our loved ones. The shipping cost is FAIR, so don't complain. You're welcome to walk to CVS and get your products there; no one is forcing you to support a wonderful small business that simply expects respect in return. Ignore the negative reviews; humanity is tough in general, so check out the new store and I promise you won't be disappointed :) I recommend revive, ocean, lemonade, cherry almond; eucalyptus bath salts are great for old aching bones!

This morning, I went past the store early — before opening. The store keeper (owner?) let me in to shop, which I found incredibly kind. The store was, as it has always been, filled with elegant delights. This is the absolute best place to get all soaps, bath goods, and self care products in Philly. I find that their selection easily rivals those of big retailers, but with the added benefit of supporting a local business (and the fact that their products aren’t made with the harsh fake scents you’ll find at places like Bath and Body Works). On top of that, you will get to meet some of the nicest and most knowledgeable owners during your visit. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great products and such nice people I remember going into the store on 12th and Locust Street when you were Philadelphia soap and Company in 2001 and loading up on products then you moved to 13th St. I came in with my friend Julie who worked at Philadelphia style. I love the skincare products, especially the Q 10 serum, and just buy a variety of soaps wonderful business
