"Dry Cocktails at Hotel María Cristina One of San Sebastián’s only luxe cocktail bars, Dry, is hidden away in a corner of the five-star Hotel María Cristina. Here you have a cocktail list by the master, Javier de las Muellas, that features cocktails with specialty ingredients and daring presentations. You’ll also find riffs on classics, such as an Irish coffee with pink peppercorns, and cinema-themed cocktails that pay homage to the city’s film festival. And if you visit during the festival, the luxury surroundings included rubbing elbows with the stars."

Incredibly elegant bar in the Hotel Maria Cristina that attracts both hotel guests and locals. Choose from a vast menu of cocktails and wines. Excellent service and comfortable seating makes you never want to leave! Excellent menu with burgers, pizza, pintxos and more, too.

Beautiful, classy bar inside Hotel Maria Christina. The cocktail menu was extensive and looked amazing. At 16 Euros the cocktails were a treat. They also had a very nice 2015 Muga crianza by the glass. The pintxos were delightful. We had a sampler, a croquette assortment and a cheese plate. Definitely recommend!

Popped in for a cocktail. Efficient service, although disappointed with my cocktail (The Last Cocktail). It sounded great in the description, but it lacked any specific flavour, and was overall very bland. My partner had the Bette Davis which again was 'just ok'. I recognise that different people have different tastes, but we were overall disappointed by the cocktails. The setting was however very nice, and the staff friendly and efficient.

Absolutely delicious Cocktails prepared by a masted mixologist. What a great place to enjoy a great Cocktail 🍸 or two 🍸🍸. I highly recommend this place.

We are frequent visitors (a fans of) to the Luxury Collections and always visit the bar for a drink either before or after dinner. On Thursday, the 16th of May at around 22:30 there were three Bartenders for a total of six guests. The service was very inattentive and uninterested in providing any kind of service to any of the guests. The initial contact was unfriendly (like we were disturbing them), no one asked how our drink was, if we wanted another one, and after waiting 20 minutes for someone to bring us the check, we had to track down the bartenders (they were taking turns hiding in the back room) ourselves. No "thank you", no concern for the service - totally unacceptable at that location and in that price category. I expressed my displeasure to the on-duty concierge who was very attentive and apologized for the sub-standard experience. This was by far the worst service experience we have had in San Sebastián and in any Luxury Collection we have visited thus far. What a disappointment, Your hotel is beautiful, but can only be as good as the team working there. I hope this review can help you improve the level of service for future guests.

A cocktail bar? Elegant and classy, no more than that! Is Bombay Sapphire sponsoring? Too many cocktail with it! A nice “ back in Time” experience but doesn’t deserve the best bars place!

Maria Cristina's bar is definitely on my top 5 list of bars to visit while in San Sebastián. Now, we are talking about a high-end bar, so expect prices to be above 15-16 euros for each drink. So if you're willing to spend a couple extra euros, I would highly suggest coming here. Not only for the cocktails, though, but for the experience overall. The bar itself has an amazing deco, and you feel like being teleported to a 50-60s bar, with a huge bar, covered with glass, and round crystal tables. For every cocktail, the bartender will come and explain you the story behind it; he/she will give you some fun facts and will tell you how to correctly drink it, in order to enjoy it at its fullest (especially with the Gin Tonic, which trust me, is amazing) My go-to drinks are the gin tonic (specialty of the house) and the amazing Lost in Translation. This drink is inspired in the movie of the same name (starting Bill Murray, if you haven’t seen it) and it’s hands down one of the best cocktails of the house. Nice place to go on a date, or a special occasion.

We really enjoyed the drinks on our first and our last day - actually one of the best cocktails we had. On the second day, though, we either had a bad bartender or they just had a bad day ;-(
