Hands-down one of the best bubble teas you can get in Vancouver. Have been coming here for years and my favourite is their mango slush with milk and pearls. Pearls are cooked at the perfect temperature and still remain chewy in your drink. Great little place to hang out with friends despite the small seating area. Most just take to go. But if you’re planning on staying for a while, they have packs of cards you can play with. Make sure to bring cash as they are cash only. There’s a TD bank close by though. They are closed for a month during the winter time as well.
Apparently they serve food too? But I can’t speak on that personally.

Wow! The tapioca pearls here are very good! They're very chewy and soft, A step above the regular bubble tea restaurants that be frequent in Vancouver. I had the almond and coffee milk tea. My friend had the regular milk tea we found both to be excellent! My only critique would be that I wish this place were slightly larger as at times you are unable to find a seat.

Authentic bubble tea! Owners are OG Taiwanese and you get a honest, legit cup every time.
You can tell the quality of a place when you get the original milk tea flavour. The taste and aroma is unbeatable. They use actual TEA, and not sugared milk (like all the wanna-be places)
The pearls have a wonderful bite and taste. Truly a gem in the city. Vancouver is lucky to have this place 😊

The only place to go for bubble tea in Vancouver for us. We also always ordered the strawberry ones. The pearls here are the best, they’re fresh and soft and a bit sweet. Quality never changes. They’re busy all the time but the waiting time isn’t so long. Their price is a bit higher than other places but because they’re so good so we will just keep coming back 😆

Uhm. Is everyone okay or.. did I order the wrong thing? I literally received blended ice and canned lychee..... for $7. Absolutely not worth it. I told the lady that I’ve never been here before and asked for fresh fruit recommendations she recommended.. strawberry, watermelon, lychee... so that’s what I picked. What a regret! Literally canned lychee and blended ice! Do not get that flavour, nothing special here. However, the pearls are very sweet and delicious. They also do have washroom for customers (yay)

My dear beloved Dragon Ball, it’s been two years since you left, and I find myself still struggling to understand why. I reminisce daily about the countless afternoons spent waiting in line for your perfect blend of tea and tapioca pearls. Your bubble tea brought an unparalleled joy to my life, and I cherished every moment we spent together. But one day, without any warning or explanation, you were gone. If there was something I did, or didn't do, that drove you away, please know that I am truly sorry. I wish I could turn back time and fix whatever mistakes I might have made. Perhaps I didn't visit as often as I should have, or maybe I took your presence for granted. Whatever the reason, I find myself longing for your return and for the happiness you once brought into my life.
The sign posted on your door today still says you’ll reopen in September 2022. Perhaps that month will finally come one day :(

One of my biggest regrets for leaving Vancouver is missing BBT here. I started coming here when it was the original owner some 25+years ago, really nice guy, then I moved away, and he sold the business. After many years, the beverage is still pretty much the same. My favorite was fresh mango/strawberry, the only thing I ordered every single time. I’ve tasted lots of BBT in Vancouver, Taiwan,HK,Korea,China,S.E.Asia, Europe,U.S ,in my opinion it’s the best BBT shop in the world. It’s unique because it makes fresh fruit drinks with so many delicious options/flavors. A little sad it’s not the original owner whenever I visit but that’s life. Don’t know why it’s closed for so long, hopefully, the shop will reopen for my next visit to Vancouver.

Strawberry with pearls and Japanese green tea ice cream with pearls .
.
I thought the strawberry one would taste artificial but it was actually really delicious and not sweet at all. The pearls were chewy and sweet enough. Highly recommend this drink! The green tea one was rich and creamy. The owners were super friendly and really fun to chat with. We’ll definitely be back! .
