Another stellar boutique by DSM. Compared to NYC, this one is much more spacious and fun. It has a smoking room, a bar, and more designers. It even has a shrine on the roof!

I really love the Comme des Garçons store here. If you go upstairs, you will find a smoking room, a café, and a variety of unique items from different brands.

Extraordinary store with an exquisite selection of merchandise. Worst luxury shopping experience though. I bought 3 things on 3 different floors and was made to check out at 3 different registers with my passport to get the tax back each and every time. You couldn’t even hold product to run from one floor to the next to pay. The sales associates were so rigid, unaccommodating, and it was a real challenge to find sales associates who could communicate sufficiently in English. This was made especially challenging since sales associates can’t travel from one floor to another to accompany and support a customer in their native tongue. At the very least you should empower sales associates with pocketalk devices. Such a frustrating and disappointing “luxury” experience. Truly surprised given the reputation the store has.

If you’re into unique brands then definitely worth a visit. DSM is good but it’s mostly filled with overhyped brands

This place is the last word on the latest and hottest in fashion. They've selected some of the most trendiest labels and gathered them in one roof, 6 floors of wonders for anyone who loves fashion. The store designs and displays are some of the very best in Japan. They also threw in some huge names like Balenciaga, Gucci, etc. Tax-free shopping is available for tourists who brought along their passport and spent over the amount of 5,000 yen. This place is a must if you love shopping and high fashion.

The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because of the two lovely ladies (Loewe and CDG reps) I spoke to on the 4th floor on May 3, 2025 around 6pm; they were the only reason I continued to shop there. However the second floor staff needs to be reviewed. It was the second floor staff (same day and around the same time) that almost opened the door on me while I was changing and trying on clothes. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and rushed in my life when trying on clothes. He kept wanting to open the door to see me in the clothes and was rushing me. At first it was in a polite tone then after only about 2 mins of me being in the dressing room (I tried on two tops; one was rather difficult to get into so it took some time), did he switch his tone to a more “your getting on my nerves, please hurry the hell up” type tone and it just threw/turned me off. The tone and being rushed is one thing, but the need to constantly ask if he could open the door to check on me really bothered me and was incredibly unnecessary and almost made me leave the store entirely.

Wonderful property. Seems like endless floors of these well stocked boutiques. Lovely staff and everyone is very kind. Probably my favorite Dover Street Market. Also very central and easy to access, have to stop by if you are in the area.

I’ve visited the Dover Street Market in Ginza a few times, and unfortunately, the staff are consistently rude and unhelpful. They seem uninterested in assisting customers — some are even on their phones while people are clearly looking for help. It completely lacks the sense of omotenashi you’d expect in Japan.

Yelp
Dover Street Market is definitely an interesting place to check out. It is very high fashion and expensive. This one doesn't have as big art installations as the one in New York but nonetheless still beautiful. The workers here are actually very nice and greet you which I really appreciate. Although this place is expensive they're not snobby. They have a lot of brands and collabs like NikeLab, Adidas x Alexander Wang, BAPE. Their Supreme collection is pretty small though. This place has like 8 stories and a smoking room and cafe at the top.

Yelp
Super high-end fashion labels, each individually represented, in a multi-story department store. Everything from Comme des Garçons to Céline, to Balenciaga, to Nina Ricci and Calvin Klein **PLUS*** lots of REALLY awesome local Japanese designers's collections also featured here for truly exclusive looks you won't find anywhere else. Even with the larger houses--they often sell DSMG are often store-exclusive designs to be found! Just ask one of the sales people. Also, DUTY FREE rebates can be made on the spot in the lower floor---cash back from your purchase (do bring your passport!).

Yelp
Beautifully curated store that stocks must-have Japanese brands (e.g., CDG, Visvim, Yohji Yamamoto, BAPE, Sacai), global brands (e.g., Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Rick Owens, Valentino, Thom Browne), and some very special and exclusive collaborations. Even if you're just window shopping, the store houses some amazing and IG-worthy sculptures and wall art on display, that can be appreciated guilt free. The customer service here is superb as well, making the shopping experience all the more enjoyable.

Yelp
Even if you're just a tourist traveling around with no background knowledge in the fashion industry, DSM Ginza is still a place to visit. On the contrary, those with knowledge in the fashion industry will not hesitate to visit this store. Located behind the 12 stories tall Uniqlo Ginza, DSM Ginza is a pretty curated yet minimalistic store. They have brands that are most popular here in Japan, naming off some are A Bathing Ape, Visvim, Comme Des Garçons, Madison Margiela, Rick Owens, Gucci, and much more stores. It is a pretty tall building, with 6 different floors carrying the various sorts of brands. Their collection and presentation of the store is immaculate. I will not post pictures here, but you will have to see it for your own eyes. Each presentation and floor has an artsy type of feel. Customer service is just A-1. Even if you're just window-shopping here, they'll still treat you with the best service here. My favorite floor was the one that showcased all sorts of Visvim gears, from their Virgil boots to the wall of Shamans, there's just too much to say it here.

Yelp
This a review from the United States: this place was on my list of higher end streetwear shopping areas to visit while visiting Japan, and somehow ended up here after eating at the Tsukiji Market all morning. There are the typically Supreme, CDG, Undercover, Bape and etc areas to shop, but as a foreigner you can't help, but feel out of place while looking through the clothing racks. I did not buy anything in this store, but the selection was awesome and cheaper compared to buying overseas in the US.

Yelp
Really cute store. I was disappointed to see they didn't carry up and coming japanese brands. Instead it's all the stuff you can get in the states -- Saint Laurent, comme des garcons, Balenciaga, etc. the citation is great though and the space is beautiful.
