"Dornier’s modern cellar and production facility is quite different from the traditional 18th- and 19th-century buildings you’ll see in the winelands. For example, a pool above the cellar regulates the temperature of the wines in an eco-friendly way. Its reflective surface also helps keep the entire subterranean building cool. The cellar’s overall design pays homage to the Dornier family’s history in the aviation industry. Contact the winery in advance to arrange a tour of the facility, then enjoy a tasting of award-winning wines like the Dornier Donatus White (a blend of chenin blanc and rich sémillon), the Dornier Merlot (with hints of plum, mint, and roasted nuts), and the Cocoa Hill Sauvignon Blanc (featuring notes of mulberry, roasted oak, vanilla, and spice)."

What an amazing estate. We booked for a cellar tour which was very informative. Shout out to Jordan for going the extra mile. The cheese platter was fresh and tasty. Dornier leaves you feeling calm and perfect spot for a chill outing. We cannot wait for our next visit at this stunning farm.

An architectural vineyard definitely worth visiting, it has been our favourite wine experience so far in South Africa. The staff were very knowledgeable and passionate. The charcuterie platter was excellent! 👌

I wasn’t overall very impressed. The wine was average. Some nice, others not great. I thought the service was pathetic being left outside in 40 degree heat and basically forgotten about. After 35 min I only had two of my 6 wines for the tasting. The inside has limited seating so most people die outside in the heat and are forgotten about by the waiters. After I complained I was offered a seat inside at the bar which made it better. Was annoyed and left.

What a lovely experience. We enjoyed a wonderful cheese and meat platter. (The bread could have been fresh and warm) but everything was delicious. The wine is just as you expect from such a beautiful place, great quality which pairs well with the peaceful atmosphere. There is seating outside in the sun and indoors.

A close friend recommended this winery, highlighting its impressive selection of red wines for tasting. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the architecture of the tasting room building, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Inside, we were welcomed by Liné, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. Liné’s friendly demeanor and deep knowledge of the wines made our tasting not only enjoyable but truly memorable. The wine was also a highlight for us, we couldn’t resist taking a bottle home to savor the experience a bit longer. Highly recommended!
