"Our family was visiting Donuimun Museum Village, a full city block of traditional hanoks and more modern structures that is now a time capsule of Seoul history and culture from the 1890s to the 1990s. The free museum is named for the old western gate of the Seoul Fortress Wall, which stood nearby until the Japanese colonial government demolished it in 1915."

A free mesuem village to visit. We can go in and see the shops in 60-70s (I guess), so it is a fun experience. The key is, it is free entry. It seems there are some workshops to join with some affordable price.

It's a small but very cute Free place to visit. There are a lot of activities that are good for kids and adults who still are kids at heart. We went during Chuseok so some of the things were closed. Sadly, I would have loved to partake of some of the seminars teaching you how to do some traditional crafts

It's a small, interesting place where a lot of recent architectural and cultural history is combined in one place. Sometimes, you wish you could still use/buy the things on display.

Fun place to bring the kids. Its a preserved area to look like korea in the 80s. Next to some good museums and park so it's a great way to spend on a weekend.

Aww… I fell in love with this place and spent over 2 hours just walking around, inside out and took tons of photos. It had hanok concept houses and old generation houses’s concept as well. Although I’m not Korean but when I was here, it reminded me about my childhood too. It’s totally free so just feel free to come in. There were doing construction when I was here so a bit unconvenient to walk around.

Cute little place. A little escape from the busy Seoul, feels like you're in a different place. Don't get me wrong: it's véry little. So don't plan a day here, but a quick visit. While I was here there was a small market in second hand games. You can also grab a drink or get something to eat here.

The visit is free and absolutely a must for anyone visiting Seoul! In one day you can go through all steps of korean history (almost) walking in the streets that were conserved for decades. Bring a camera and enjoy. Great for families, kids, couples, solos and another category you might put yourself into😉
