"Dolcezza’s gelato follows old recipes, but is filled with the freshest ingredients. The shop takes pride in sourcing its ingredients locally, and the flavor profile benefits greatly from it. Take a break from a hot day with one of their visually rich gelatos, or warm up in the winter with an earthy cup of joe from their partner, Stumptown Coffee Roasters." - Friendly Design Co.

Hot chocolate is like a warm hug in a cup! It's creamy, rich, and velvety, with a deep chocolate flavor that's both sweet and slightly bitter. When you take a sip, it feels like a cozy blanket, wrapping you in comfort. Perfect for chilly days or just when you need a little indulgence!

Dolcezza has many locations but this one is my favorite. Coffee shop Ang gelato shop is a great combo! I love the vibes in here. There are always people meeting or studying. They could have more seating but the lack of seating contributes to the ambience. Definitely come in between meals!

Will come back to try gelato / sorbet. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. I went when it was packed to the brim, but I had the quickest experience with ordering & getting my drinks. Service was A1. I ordered an iced tea with extra ice & an iced dolce de leche iced latte. Loved both. Photos could’ve been nicer. The artwork was amazing to look at.

Dessert and coffee shop in Dupont circle. Seats 15 ish people. One communal table in the center and four counter top high chair seats looking out the window. Espresso: strong, citrus taste, not bitter, smooth. Gelato: Unique flavours. Pistachio Sicilian was the best I've had, creamy and strong pistachio flavor. Minty chocolate was surprisingly strong, good to offset another creamy gelato. Cost: $7 for two flavours, espresso $4-$6 depending on milk level (cortado, flat white, latte). Overall: Good place for good gelato and a coffee.

Got a Meadow Tea and the Mascarpone & Berries scoop and a hazelnut scoop. The Mascapone & Berries were definitely left an impression. The cafe is small with communal seating with only 15 seats available. Some people were there reading, some there to catch up, others there for a tasty treat. It has good music for the cafe ambience however, it gets cold in the winter with the door opening & closing.

Joanna the barista made our first experience here unforgettable! She was so kind, friendly, and patient, going above and beyond in allowing us to sample nearly every flavor until we found the flavor combo of our dreams! She was also very knowledgeable about ingredients and graciously catered to allergies. We highly recommend you stopping in, and trying their gelato. (Psst Hazelnut Crackle, Pistachio Siciliano, and Dulce de Leche Chip are to die for!)

Cute gelato and coffee shop on the corner- I've always seen people go in and out but first time trying it on a Monday night. Parking on the street or in the garages nearby (all walking distance). No line when we went it. They kindly greeted us and asked us if we wanted samples. I went with the small size (you get 2 scoops), and I chose pistachio and the black and white cookie batter. The black and white cookie batter was a fave (my friends tried some of mine). Not much seating indoors or out but we were able to snag a bench right outside. But in the pricier side but it was good! Would I come again? If craving gelato or suggested by a friend, sure!

Just tried this gelato place, and wow! I had four flavors: Hazelnut, Lemon Ricotta, a banana one, and another I can’t remember. They were all super fresh and smooth. Not too sweet, not too much—just perfect! Definitely hit the spot on a hot day. Highly recommend checking it out!
