Dog & Fox (Hotel)

The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon Village is situated in an ideal location. It is perfect for a walk around the village and Wimbledon Common or to walk down the hill to Wimbledon itself. Transport links are great too! The bedrooms are comfy & spacious with all the facilities needed for a few days away. It is also handy to have the restaurant and bar downstairs for a delicious meal or to sit at or near the bar for a few drinks! We will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable! 😊

We stayed to attend the wedding celebrations of our daughter and now son in law at the hotel. All of staff we interacted with were very professional, attentive and a delight to interact with. Great breakfast offering with plenty of choice and good quality. Room was gorgeous and very pleasantly quiet given the location. Highly recommend having an event there and mooching around the locale too.

'lovely welcoming pub-we stayed on a Sunday and had a room with small terrace. Room was great but probably need to sort Sky TV out as it hardly worked. I love that they serve Sunday roast all day and it was cracking. Morning fry up was incredibly tasty too. Will definitely return. Really great location.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay there. The location was great as we were surrounded by many quality restaurants and quaint little shops. The area was very nice and peaceful. The bed was soooo comfortable. Just a tiny thing was that I wish the shower was more waterproof. We also had one breakfast at the hotel and the food and service was amazing. Do try the pea and mushroom sausage… I still want more!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff-a shout out for Sophie for helping with our reservation . Busy and lively bar and restaurant but cheerful and welcoming. |Rooms are very comfortable and tasteful with masses of character. Food was good , particularly breakfast-served from 7am.

Spacious yet cosy rooms with all the facilities for relaxation and work. The pub downstairs has a wonderful atmosphere, nice food and pour a great ale. Will stay again for the excellent combination of village and big city experience.

We were staying up in Wimbledon Village for the weekend and went to the Dog 🐶 and Fox 🦊 for a meal on the Friday evening. Firstly ‘love’ the building itself … has true character. Had a drink in the bar prior to eating … it was buzzing and had a lovely atmosphere. Fortunate to sit in front of the fire 🔥. Decent food, limited main course menu, very attentive service from the main man in the restaurant.

Julia has really made our day special, amazing hostess throughout the day from the dining table to the pub table. She’s made everything a breeze without having to think about the day, and we’ve had the best day because of it. Thank you for having us
