"The waters surrounding Bequia beckon scuba divers with everything from brilliant sponges, colorful fish, and deep-water corals to shallow reefs, sheer walls, caverns, holes, and wrecks. While the area is home to 30 or so easily accessible diving sites, you should head to the designated marine park, which occupies seven miles along Bequia’s leeward coast. Family-run outfitter Dive Bequia (located on Belmont Walkway in Port Elizabeth) offers three dive trips to the park each day, along with instruction, certification, and rental gear. Divers must be at least 8 years old, but snorkelers of all ages are welcome as well."

I just wrapped up my AOW certification with Dive Bequia. I also did some fun dives with my entire family. Dive Bequia is super professional all the instructors are fantastic and the equipment is pristine. Chelle was my instructor, she is awesome, knowledgeable and patient. We also worked with Tristan and Max and I cannot say enough good things about all of them. Everyone loved their experience, highly recommend!

Amazing little company with lovely staff and knowledgeable guides. Tristan was my dive master and I cannot compliment him enough. He managed to spot every little creature, tailored the dives to meet our versatile groups need's, and allowed us to make the dive our own. Scheduling was super simple and Penny(I think that was her name!) was so kind at check in. 10/10 recommend!!!

I had a great diving experience with Dive Bequia, especially with Cathy, my instructor/guide for the day! I’m newly certified so she took care of me and guided me to have an amazing time! We got to see a lot of different varieties of fish, a sea turtle, different kinds of eels, and an eagle ray!! Thank you and I’ll definitely will dive with Dive Bequia again!

I did my SSI training and got certified with Chelle at Dive Bequia — it was fantastic. They are all so great to work with — a super team — and Chelle is a fantastic teacher. She took the time to explain things when I didn't understand, and she went above and beyond to just chat about questions I had beyond the scope of the class. Also, they were very cool about my husband having to drop out because of an injury and refunded part of the money for his training. Best is I just felt very safe with them. Very professional. And the reefs are amazing — so many fish. We saw a giant green moray eel, ray, barracuda, sea turtle, and a couple of fascinating wrecks.

Our group had a FABULOUS TIME SCUBA diving with Dive Bequia! We found them to be safety conscience as well as lots and lots of fun, no matter which dive master was with us. All the staff here are very knowledgeable and eager for guests to enjoy Bequia's beautiful waters! Dive Bequia is a well established dive shop and a good place for all levels of divers. They also train new divers too, in case you are considering getting certified, this is the place to do it! Their boats are extremely comfortable and spacious with an easy to climb ladder to get back aboard the boat. They have a large platform at the back of the boat so one can enter the water with a backroll or a giant stride entry. The ladder has handles on both sides all the way up, which is a great plus. They'll set up the gear, assist before and after the dives and even wash your gear for those who bring their own diving equipment. They have new top of the line rental equipment in all sizes. Can't say enough how wonderful it is to be diving with Dive Bequia. They are a terrific dive shop and really do a fine job on all counts. Oh, and the pricing is very reasonable too. Try them out, you will be delighted!

I highly recommend Dive Bequia. After a less than positive experience in St Lucia I tried again with these guys. They totally ‘get’ nervous divers and Chelle and Triston both gave me so much time and support to do all the exercises that I was able to achieve my open water qualification relatively easily. Chelle also really opened my eyes to the joy of diving and I can’t wait to do my next dive! Their equipment is new or in very good condition and the whole team are super-friendly.

We had a great experience with Dive Bequia. Kathy, Triston, and Max were all very nice, helpful, and a lot of fun. We did three great dives. Two were drift dives along reefs and a wreck dive with a reef & two wrecks. Highly recommend Dive Bequia!
