Amazing food and staff very attentive..if only we lived nearer it would be my new favourite place to eat.

Good set lunch menu. Quite fancy food so not ideal if you're after a good feed. Food was imaginative and tasty and decent coffee. No syrups though. Was busy as soon as it opened so would book if possible, I imagine dinner would be busier also. Lovely staff :)

Beautiful food. Portion sizes were perfect. Catering for special diets was no problem and staff were really helpful and friendly.

Love this place! Amazing food! Great staff! It be nice if the toilets were upgraded to mach the dining hall decor though.

The service was excellent with all the staff being friendly, the food was fantastic with each course better then the last with the dining being unforgettable overall.

The food here was excellent. The starters were very tasty and the mains equally so. The dessert wasn't quite up to the same standard but still pretty decent. Unfortunately the service let the whole experience down. While seated quicky we had to ask for the bread that all other customers were served and the water which we had previously requested. All aspects of the service were very slow. Sometimes it is nice to be given some time between courses as in Edinburgh your often rushed. 3 hours before entering and leaving was just to much though. Would I go here again? Absolutely.

Had a lovely meal and staff were very friendly. Visited again this October and the food has improved. Impressed with the choice and standard. Quality offering. Staff still very friendly and such quick service. Definitely good value for money. Just a pity about the lack of wheelchair accessibility.

If you are looking for a special meal in Stornoway, look no further! This was by far the best meal I My partner and I had in 11 days of exploring Scotland. The menu was excellent and the chef had prepared a full menu of various vegan options for my wife to chose from. I enjoyed a scallop dish, steak, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Everything was well seasoned and delicious! Service was fantastic. I wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it again someday!

This is one of the few nicer places in Stornoway. Between 5:30 and 6:30 they offer a fixed price, three course menu for £24.50. The food was good, if a little under seasoned. I suggest making reservations, as we walked in at 5:35 and got the last available table.

Four of us had dinner at the Digby Chick. You do need to make reservations, we were unable to get in without them on a week day, and had to return on another night. Food, cocktails and whiskey were all excellent. The mackerel pate was a surprising and amazingly delicious appetizer! The only issue is that if you have 5:30 reservations, you must select from the 5:30 menu, if you have 7:30 reservations, then you must select from the 7:30 menu. We were unable to select an appetizer from one menu and an entre from a different menu even though we were willing to pay a la carte. Other than that inflexibility, the food, service and ambience were wonderful. Like another reviewer, we also had dinner at the Boatshed, which is larger and has similarly wonderful food and drink with an entirely flexible menu.

Quite a nice Restaurant. Especially the premises are wonderfull. I had some nice mussels as a starter. Sirloin Steak was alright. If I had the choice I would tend to the Boatshed or the HS-1. Just felt more comfortable there and the food is the same level.

Digby Chick is an ideal place to go for lunch or dinner. Located in the centre of town, it is easy to get to with 2 parking lots of either side. Booking in advance is always recommended as it can sometimes be quite difficult to get a table - especially at dinner. The menu is constantly changing with plenty of selection and everyone is bound to find something they like. The food is always great and they have a good selection of wines and other drinks. There are tables and booths for bigger parties in the restaurant which has been decorated in a modern manner. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Simply the best place to eat in Stornoway. Booking highly recommended. The ever changing menu (other places take note) offers a huge selection of game and fish as well as the expected content, but all cooked and presented in the most fabulous fashion. The wine list is tremendous, ranging from £70 reds through Bollinger at £50 and on to very decent house wine. We have been there perhaps 50 times, and have never had anything less than an excellent meal. Truly the place to take people you want to impress... Lunches are exquisite too, and I am told that the Early Bird dinner is fantastic.

The Digby Ckick in the town centre is a great place to go for lunch or high tea, or for an evening meal for a special occasion. They have a great set menu for lunch, which is full of great tasting local fayre and as a result is super reasonably priced. High-tea is also great value, ok, you have to eat a bit earlier than you may normally but the food is delicious. It gets quite pricey in the evenings, so is great for special occasion nights out. The food is always fantastic, as is the service. The decor is fairly modern, bright and airy but giving a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended

Good restaurant, one of the best. Food is excellent, good wine list and friendly staff. Compared to other restaurants in Stornoway I'd have to say it's slightly more expensive. Recommended, but make sure you book.

Tried this restaurant out for Dinner, really nice place, Ala carte menu was good but expensive!! We ate at the Boatshed restaurant the night before which is close by (the staff recommended Digbys to us when asking for other nice restaurants to try) Dont get me wrong the food was very good but rather expensive for what you got, portions were quite small. Good wine selection.

Awesome restaurant in Stornoway, probably the best at the moment. Friendly staff and well cooked food.
