Death Before Decaf

Quite literally the best cafe around. Open 24/7, easy to get to (it is worth the 40 minute drive for me), and it’s absolutely delicious - what more could you possibly want? I forgot to mention the music played in the shop is awesome!! Atmosphere is cool too! 10/10 ⚰️☕️

Hard to fault this place for its dedication to serving coffee to Brisbane 24-7. I only drink cold coffee so happily they have cold brew and it's decent. The cold brew flavour has more of a simple flavour that I would imagine appeals to people used to drinking black espresso. I'd buy it again although I prefer cold brew with more complex, naturally sweet flavours. I don’t know why most places insist on such large cups for cold coffee. This is quite strong cold brew so the large serving they gave was far more than I wanted, especially in the afternoon. On a hot day they could afford to put a lot more ice than the bit she gave me which had melted before I had drunk even a quarter of it. Cold brew with a strong flavour like this one needs the ice to take the edge off it and make it more palatable. More ice also means that if you do take a while to drink it, it becomes more watered down and the taste isn’t as harsh… but being cold is a nicer way to achieve this. If you don’t need such a hige serving I’d suggest asking them to fill the cup with ice. Less ice causes a false economy if you only end up drinking half of it anyway.

Amazing to see a 24/7 coffee joint here in Brisbane, with the greatest coffee! These guys were a life saver during Cyclone Alfred when all the other places were shutting down. Respect to the owner and the staff for keeping the place running during such a difficult time!

An iconic take away coffee venue with an alternative vibe. Not a sit down place, but one of the only places you can get a good (not mc-coffee/service station machine) espresso in Brisbane at all hours of day and night. The coffee is genuinely excellent.

An actual 5 star cafe. Their food is awesome, the chicken and Quac toastie is with out a doubt the BEST I’ve had. Their brownies hit the spot, And they have fresh take home coffees packaged in the fridge if you need a pick me up for later that day. Killer stuff ❤️

Our fave coffee haunt in Brisbane. Never leave Brisbane for the drive home without a takeaway, and always grab one when we stay down. 24/7, best coffee. Good toasties for the road too.
