Yes, yes and Yes! If I could, I would give 6* for sure! 🏆 SERVICE is amazing! All my questions been answered in the most explanatory manner (and I did a lot of them). Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. SELECTION is great! Variety of salmon, trout, oysters, shrimps, etc. Frozen, fresh, smoked - all here. Check photos for detailed "menu" and prices. Also, you can buy canned fish, crab, tuna dips, different oils like walnut, spicy salsa, pickled varieties. You name it! STORE! Love the look of the store. Very nice, beautiful theme and kept clean. Question, why didn't I discovered this place before?

Great seafood but STAY AWAY FROM THE SOUP. Got a butternut squash soup that was literally drenched in cinnamon. Like, it was brown from how much cinnamon was in it and all you could taste was the spice. Everyone I served it to at my dinner found it inedible, which was a little embarrassing. Instead, stick to Hooked on danforth for soup.

Spectacular selection of fresh and smoked fish - in that regard tried two of their custom smoked varieties and both were amazing. Everyone loved the fish I served. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable and very very friendly. A pleasure to shop here.

This Danforth store is well located, very clean, aesthetically pleasing, with good selection of fresh fish, other seafood, cooked products and soup. We like their chowders, clam / crab & corn - not too creamy and very tasty. The fresh seafood very good, especially the wild BC black cod and scallops. Prices are reasonable. Service is good, in particular, Nolan is excellent, and makes our visits very pleasant. Thank you, Nolan!

Really impressed with the order of oysters. They came popped, easy to open, fresh. Will definitely come back.

Regularly get our sushi grade fish here to make our own sushi rolls at home. It's fun and the kids love making their own sushi rolls. If you've never tried it, do it. It is so much better than going to sushi restaurants. So fresh and delicious.

I've been here three times and have been surprised each time. They close at 6 and I get off work at 5, so I'm always rushing to get there... each time, I've arrived around 5:45 and am immediately greeted with a very rushed / annoyed server (usually a young girl.) The firs time I was there, I had gone online earlier in the day and tried to order ahead off their website, but their site said they were completely sold out of salmon. I called and they advised they had plenty of salmon, but I needed to come in to get it (it was too late for them to prepare it and put it aside.) When I got in, I saw lots of salmon and told the girl what I wanted (enough for a full week). She was really annoyed and told me I should go online next time and order ahead. I explained i tried and the site said they were sold out. She then mumbled "then just pick up the phone and call us!" and walked away to get my fish. She then came back to me once my salmon was ready and began ringing me up, but I wanted some white fish too. I may as well have been asking to borrow $1,000.00. She just stared out me and then stormed away to get my white fish. She then returned and demanded, "Anything ELSE?" like I was being crazy asking for fish at a fish store. I've been there twice since, including yesterday afternoon, and every time it's been the same. The fish is good, but the service is terrible. I shouldn't be made to feel like I'm imposing when I'm giving these people my business. They're not doing me some huge favor by selling me fish. If you don't like people, or don't want to sell fish, then don't sell fish to people! I think this place looks nice and has good fish, but they really need to review their customer service and website, or else just close earlier so your customers don't have to be rushed and treated poorly by staff who clearly would rather leave work than sell fish. I'm not going here every again as there are plenty of other fish mongers around who recognize that not everyone who wants to eat fish can be there to buy it well before closing.

The best fish store in Toronto I love there fresh salmon and they also have homemade salmon burgers they sell which are so good!!! All there products are great and excellent customer service. I wish I lived closer to visit more often
