Noo Definitely not this location!
It’s too dangerous to wait on the stairs for a table. Almost fell down from the high stairs.
The waiters were not good either. A person spilled soup on the table while serving it to us! She just said Sorry without wiping the table! The soup was running on the table. I was so glad that I didn’t put my phone there!
Lettuce not fresh either. Had some red things on top…..
Try other locations, way better than here!

I’ve visited Daldongnae Korean BBQ multiple times, and it never disappoints! The meat is always fresh and high-quality, and the flavors are consistently amazing. The variety of banchan (side dishes) is impressive, and they’re all delicious and well-prepared.
The staff here are super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, they treat everyone with great hospitality.
If you’re looking for authentic Korean BBQ with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service, Daldongnae is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Probably the best Korean BBQ I have had so far in the Americas, which might mostly be because I don't have a lot of experience with it, but I thought everything was just so good! Among so many restaurants in Toronto, I believe that this is a very good one, especially since my friend, who is an expert in Korean food, took me here.
Of course, we went with the famous table BBQ, and right off the bat I enjoyed the format of corn cheese, egg, garlic, and kimchi around the grill, as they would be heated up by the grill itself. And of course, complimentary dishes were always a plus, and I finished all of them.
My friend and I picked boneless short rib beef and short plate beef, and both were amazing. We also had the green onion pancakes with seafood and the spicy soft tofu stew. I don't know what else to say other than that they tasted as good as I imagined it to be, because as long as they were authentic, they would be 5 stars in mind, and that fortunately did happen. My apologies for not being more descriptive. If you know what I mean, you know.
Of course, we waited for a bit before we could be seated, and the line extended on the staircase, and that was how popular they were. Highly recommended!

Love this place, always a great vibe! Wonderfully flavourful and fresh ingredients. Excellent à la carte menu items. Great attentive and uplifting service. The restaurant itself needs a makeover as it's getting pounded by so much business. Waiting area and seating can be crowded and uncomfortable. Lots of wear and tear.

The staff were very friendly and guidance was quick and good. If several people went, the side dishes served at the beginning were small, so we had to pay extra and order several times. The corn had a slightly sour smell. I didn't eat it because it didn't taste good.

NO WIFI. FOOD WAS AMAZING! 7 people. Awesome place to chill and eat talk. Beer was great. Grilled all the meats and we asked for refill of cheese corn and kimchi. Quick service! Nice servers. I wish they gave bigger portions but you can just order more. They even gave us dumplings on the house at the end! It was great! Would go again. Took some of it home!

A very cozy spot for Korean BBQ in the downtown core. The entrance is easy to miss especially during the evening. There is a full flight of steps upon enterinv the building and once you reach the top, you will need to wait for the host/hostess to seat you. I have been to the other location in Koreatown near Christie subway station and overall, I prefer it over this one. Service here was still fantastic and food was still tasty. The pros of this location would be it's a lot cleaner and newer looking. However, the seating here was a lot tighter and cramped for a party size of three and we were unable to switch to a larger table since those were reserved for larger groups. We dined in on an early Thursday evening and was surprised to learn that there was no time limit for our seats which was nice as we really got to enjoy our meal unrushed and over a nice long conversation. We ordered the beef boneless short rib and the beef hanging tender. I preferred the former. The latter was a bit chewy and not as tender. There were also complimentary side dishes and a steaming hot stew. We also ordered separately, their green onion pancake with seafood which I absolutely love and it's paired so well with their slightly spicy red dipping sauce.

The food is always good whichever location I came. Minimum 2 orders per BBQ table and side dishes are complimentary and refillable.
However, servers were not too friendly and helpful, maybe it was too busy then.
