A wonderful local coffee shop with great ambience and options - on John St. I went in for a black decaff and couldn't resist trying the Lavender Latte - mmmm - it was a spa in a mug! Also a gluten free option with the brownie! Did I mention that the Lavender Latte was gluten free and dairy free!? I had a great coffee chat in a cozy setting iwth an old friend!

This place is a gem! We were just visiting Toronto to get to know the city and we went into this cafe. We loved it. They let my little dog in and even gave him a treat! The atmosphere is very cozy. I recommend it 100%.

Super cute hidden gem, located on a lower floor on John St. I’ve passed this cafe so many times but never went in as its outside look is quite unassuming and not as attractive as the inside when one makes the effort to go in.. I was delighted and happy with this cafe discovery. I believe they were Dark Horse many years ago. They have a wide variety of basic and complex offerings on the menu both for drink and eats. I tried their chocolate almond croissant and it was excellent. Freshly baked, flaky and soft inside. Service was patient and friendly. This has now become one of my favourite cafes!

In the hustling bustling city street of Toronto's entertainment district, down the alley is a a cute little coffee cafe that has been serving the best brewed coffee I have tasted in the GTA. Over the course of summer, autumn and winter, thie cafe will beat the heat, relax you and provide warmth respectively. A hidden gem of a place and the staff and service is top notch. Do try if you are near and new to the area and a sip of their coffee and the atmosphere inside will elate you and make your day!

This cute cafe is a hidden gem that is easy to miss because it's downstairs below street level. I love the calm and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the matcha lattes! The roasted matcha latte was very flavourful and the matcha coconut superfood latte was tasty too. I also liked the turkey and bacon sandwich which was surprisingly filling. Love the empanadas, the scones, and the almond croissant! Counter service only. Limited seating is available inside the cafe or on a small patio. This is a great place to catch up with a friend, but not the best spot to work remotely because there's a 90-minute time limit on your table.

Love this cafe! It was my first time hearing about this spot and was very pleased with my experience here. I really like how diverse the menu is and how there’s a great amount of pastries to choose from too. The matcha choco latte was amazing - not too overwhelming and right amount of sweetness. The almond croissant was amazing and lots of filling inside. Great quality drinks and pastries. Only downside there’s a bit of limited amt of seats and not much of a place to work here it’s more of a short quick bite place or a to-go spot.

A coffee shop I frequent because it has interesting specialty drinks that rotate seasonally. Servers are very friendly and quick with making drinks. Highly recommend the pulled pork empanada.
