D & A Binder - Antique Shop Cabinets & Bespoke Shopfittings for Hire or Purchase

I am beyond delighted with the 1930’s Haberdashery Counter I bought from D&A Binder to display my handbags in. It is so stunning that I can’t stop admiring it! I dealt with Josh Binder who was honestly so helpful and efficient, nothing was too much trouble for him. Josh made a few suggestions but wasn’t at all pushy, they lined the draws in my own fabric at my request and cleverly inserted lighting so if I want it lit up it can be. Delivery was never going to be easy as the cabinet was going upstairs and is big and heavy, but they took great care during the process so not to damage the counter or my home. All the staff in the shop were so helpful, I think it’s rare these days to get such good service, it was a brilliant and enjoyable experience, I would readily use them again and would highly recommend them. I’d give a 6 star review if I could!

We are delighted with our bespoke shoe cabinet. It looks absolutely fantastic. D&A Binder were happy to make the cabinet in a horizontal form (vs the vertical cabinets on display) and also altered the measurements further so it fitted perfectly in the space we needed it to. Communication with Reece throughout was great, he was really responsive to all our queries and the quality of the piece is second to none. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

D&A Binder had the most fantastic array of props and display elements with an antique feel. Everywhere you look it’s like finding a treasure, every single item has a story and the quality of the restoration is unparalleled. I found exactly what I needed and rented it for my event. Everything went very smooth, including delivery and pick up of the display unit and Renay was extremely helpful in the absence of Reece, my first point of contact. The items are not only beautiful, but the service is great too, will definitely work with them again and hopefully shop some more items very soon!

This place is amazing. Josh and his father are the best. We bought from them for several years while living in London and then half a shipping container full of stuff when we moved back home. One of their haberdasheries is featured in the design of this flat we did in London

Just bought this Aviation Dome chair from this shop which is probably my most extravagant buy this year but as the shop suggests the item is bespoke and so unique. googling similar chairs on websites such as amazon and ebay nothing comes close to the real leather upcycled plane engine cover . The leather is honey mustard with a rich shine and others searched the leather is Pu and colours are dull. I paid more than i would for the ones online but as this shop definilty looks for pieces which are unique it was moeny well spent. Manager very friendy and the removal guys were very respectful and careful on delivery.

Library steps bought online, matched description precisely, and were packed impeccably! Reece could not have been more helpful in dealing with delivery to Channel Islands, despite being let down by original shippers, and absorbed additional shipping costs without trying to pass these on. Super service alround!

Looks like a browsing place, it isnt. It's better. If I ever open a shop? Become a set dresser? I'll come here. Good junk, very good. Be aware, some stuff is really old, some stuff are great remakes.

Have been looking for a store like this for years. Filled with amazing store fixtures and able to custom make the most beautiful fixtures. A pleasure to deal with and an amazing resource for any shop owner or collector.

Binders' is actually a retailer of vintage and refurbished shopfittings, but you could easily find something interesting for your home too - especially if you're looking for storage. Upstairs is mainly more commercial large-scale shelving units and the refurbishing workshop, but downstairs had a few really interesting pieces that would easily fit into a living space - chests of drawers, wooden tables and cabinets, table lamps and seating. You won't find pristine antiques here, but the prices reflect that so if you're looking for something a bit more shabby than chic it's definitely worth a look.
