I booked a long overdue eye test at cubitts soho. I was greeted by Chel, who was extremely welcoming. She showed me the collection at cubitts including the bespoke options and explained what would suit my face and style. Before I had even had my eye exam I had picked out my favourite frames which are they best I’ve found for such a good price! Highly reccomend going to see Chel! I then had my eye exam with Jaz who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The exam was thorough and didn’t take too long and Jaz explained everything I needed to know. Again I couldn’t recommend Jaz more. Great job Cubitts Soho, wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

I went into the store to order some sunglasses just before the shop closed. I was served by Valeria, who was super friendly and and helped me a lot with picking new sunglasses. She went out of her way to find the right ones for me and made sure the fit was right. Thank you Valeria! Amazing customer service

We were assisted by Ally at Cubitts Soho store, and she gave such a great assistance to help us make decision. She gave relevant feedback about how the various glasses fit our faces, and she even spotted that my current glasses has a blue light filter and highlighted that Cubitts can do that as well on top of the normal prescription (which I took up). I’m a customer on this brand some years now, and I went to Soho store to have my new reading - working lenses. The first time I went to collect my glasses it was so wrong that I couldn’t see anything so the guy went downstairs to check the measurements and he confirmed it was wrong and he advised me to have a second test free, because he said the optometrist was not experienced so probably that’s why was so wrong. Not sure if it was the optometrist fault or whoever makes the lenses. I went for second time, I did the test with another optometrist, they apologised and they offered me £62 as a good will. I went AGAIN to collect my new glasses and now the lenses was different than the one I used to have!! Not only I don’t have for so many days glasses, but again it was not working again! I could see straight through the lenses, however around the lenses it was blur, and they advised me I will use them at some you point, it’s not verifocal as I wanted occupational as my previous prescription etc. Anyway after almost a month without glasses I went again today, and I said to the manager it’s not working for me and I requested a refund. I was very disappointed after all these inconvenience they caused me, they will refund me only the remaining amount from the initial payment. What I mean by that is that they took back the £62 they offered me for the inconvenience!!! Such a poor service….

Usually I love Cubitts. Both in Soho and in Borough the service is great. You can probably find a 5 star review from me in the past. However, today was quite different. Something has gone very wrong, with a very wrong hire. I returned today with a specific list of 3 frames I want to try. I entered and asked to bring them. Instead, I was given only 2 and asked to try these first. Either they thought I will run off with the frames, or the lady was too lazy to go downstairs and fetch the size I requested for the 3rd frame. I spend some time trying and then I ask if she can bring all 3 pairs but in darker colours, so so can compaire. Take a guess what I as the next question I got asked. Of course she asked me which frames do I want in darker colour, as if I didn't just state exactly what I want. Next she asks me to name specific colours I want. So I, the customer, have to review all the colours they have so she can make a list of 10-ish acceptable 'darker' colours. Instead of just bringing me something in dark. I gave her a few options and she returned with 2 frames instead of 3. Do you want to know what she said about this? NOTHING. She did not even mention the 3rd pair as if I didn't ask to bring it. And then I enquired and she explained that they do not have this in dark colours. 2 star communication skills I have to say. Finally made my choice and asked to measure the frames (on me) so I can place an order online. She asked if I have a prescription with Cubitts and explained that if I do, then they do not need to measure. Surprise surprise - even after checking my prescription she proceeded to measure despite just stating that it will not be required. Smart person. Finally when measuring I asked where should I be looking and the answer I got was: "If you give me a second I will tell you" in a very annoyed and entitled voice". I recommend management to focus on their hires better. Date of visit: 22nd September UPDATE: Changed rating to 1 star as they replied to my review pretending they want to chat, but not responding to my email for 2 weeks.
