"This specialty shop carries quality products by some of the best undiscovered manufacturers in the world. Items found inside this gallery store on Baldwin St. hold significant cultural importance and tend to have a Japanese aesthetic. Whether it be office supplies, tech accessories or housewares, each item has been carefully selected to create a cultural mosaic of traditions and beliefs. As North America, Japan, and Europe further develop a taste for foreign products, Cubeshops opens its doors to those seeking alternative ideas." - Jacknife

A small and beautiful shop full of dedicated lifestyle products including Rhodia notebook, stationery, comprehensive Hario coffee products and much more. Love it.

What a gorgeous little store. Cute, and useful products for home and office, including Rhodia notebooks, some fun reusable bags, brightly-coloured corrugated-look plastic storage and clever wildflower vases. We could have spent much more time here. Will have to come back!

You will find well designed practical items here for the home. Perfectly merchandised too.

They have a really good selection of Rhodia notebooks which can be hard to find (most stores just have moleskine or leuchtturm). There's some pretty interesting products to check out

The best prices I've seen downtown for Rhodia notebooks. Lots of cute stationery and office supplies too!

Great selection of curated, imported Japanese goods that are so nicely designed. It’s really hard to leave this teeny tiny store with only one thing.

Sells some Hario coffee products, niche inventions, and some notebooks. It's a nice change from other stores at least, but this place is really expensive.

Yelp
This Japanese shop is painfully adorable. As you might expect, they have so many perfectly designed trinkets that you never knew you always needed, such as: +Ladles that stand up on their own +Rows and rows of colourful ties +Little silicon men to keep the lid down on your Cup O Soup while it steeps +Beautiful glass ways to make at-home pour over coffees +Endless, perfect journals +Umbrella holders

Yelp
I have only bought one thing at this place. but I always visit this place when I am in the area. It's one of the most unique shops, selling things you won't see anywhere else. Some of the things you won't even know what they are. You have to see it for yourself.

Yelp
This cute shop tucked in a swarm of restaurants on Baldwin. It's like Bergo Designs meets the ingenuity and cuteness of Japan. Some of the stuff is extremely practical, like reuseable book covers with attached book mark, or a cool grass like stand for photos. Then there is the design stuff, like the evolution eraser. I also have this obsession with pens and tempted to buy the fancy $20 pens, but will save it for a trip to Japan. It's a nice gift store for that person that has everything.

Yelp
This cutesy shop is tucked away on Baldwin and definitely very different from the surrounding restaurants. It's the perfect place to get little trinket gifts but do keep in mind they're usually pretty expensive for the item though. Like others have said though, their stock doesn't seem to change too much over the years. If you're a fan of Rhodia stationery, this is the perfect place for that - pens and notebooks of all sizes and colours! Most of the items here are things you wouldn't see in a typical store, for example weights to keep the cover of an instant noodle cup closed or a page of miniature things (people, flowers) to build a small model out of.

Yelp
This little Japanese design shop looks more like something you would find on King East than in the middle of a bunch of restaurants on Baldwin. As a result, I don't think they do as well, business-wise, as they could. It's one of those places you wouldn't really come across unless you were specifically looking for it. Anyways, it is small and fun to browse for quirky gift items. What can you find at Cubeshops you ask? - A door stopper that looks like a banana peel - Animal-shaped rubber bands - Hanger-shaped paperclips that won't mark your photos and let you hang them from pins (instead of making holes in your photos when you put them on a corkboard) - All kinds of mugs - Stationary - Reusable shopping bags Items are on the expensive-end, but so aesthetically pleasing, and many items come with a sticker with a profile of the designer. My only complaint is that I have been shopping here every now and then for the past couple years since it opened, and the stock has changed very little. Otherwise, great place and polite, friendly service. I like how they use one of those staple-less staplers to attach your receipts!
