The patties here are great! I had the classic. It was crispy and felt fresh from the oven. I ordered with hot sauce which the person serving kindly added for me by cutting the patty open. I highly recommend. It smelled so good I took a few bites before remembering take a picture.

This is hands down my favourite Jamaican patty spot in Toronto.
The owner is so chill and kind. Best of all, the patties are simply the best. The spices in the beef filling are perfect and the pastry is flaky. The stuffed beef patty is so tasty (you need to add a slice of cheese)! Love this spot and highly recommend it!

I came across Crumbs Gourmet Patties while walking through Kensington Market. I had initially passed by it, but the smell of the freshly made patties drew me back! Beef patties are one of my favorites. I got the classic beef pattie, and it didn't disappoint! It was hot, crispy, tasty, and delicious! 😋 The owner, Pierre, was friendly and helpful in recommending the varieties of patties to suit you cravings with "remixed and stuffed patties." It's a must try for either a meal or a quick snack!

I’ve had these folks patties twice. Chicken curry and beef. Once at a ROM dance event in Feb 2025 and a second time at the Car Show also in Feb 2025. Wow! Absolutely delicious. Dough is amazing, flaky and stuffed with perfectly spiced filling! The guys serving these patties have excellent us timer service and attention to details. Thanks Crumbs Patties! I’ll be visiting your restaurant soon enough.

The best patties I’ve ever had! Growing up I got tired of its dryness, but Crumbs’ juicy, crunchy, and soft patties were SO GOOD. We got the remixed patty and the stuffed patty. The remixed (which was my favourite) and the standard are so delicious! The worker at the front is always so welcoming and friendly. The best part is the flavourful meat and the patty’s shell. Will come here every chance that I get!

Crumbs has really stepped up the patty game! I've tried the curry chicken as well as the deluxe (veggie) and they were freshly made and DELICIOUS. I was so satisfied once I was finished. Getting a patty at Kensington Market is an easy decision. 👌🏽

Crumbs Patties is a short walk from China Town in Kensington Market .
Crumbs Patties is not a traditional store and more of a stand. There is two chairs at the front of the stand for seating. When you are ready to order you can ask the person at the front of the stand and they will take your order.
I went to Crumbs Patties on a Sunday around 1:00 PM. There was about 3 other people there waiting for patties as well so it wasn't too busy.
Ordering: There is a menu on top of the stand you can look at. There is also a menu online you can look at. Essentially they have single patties, patty with coco-bread, patty with cheese + coco-bread and hot sauce, dressed patty with cheese coco-bread and hot sauce.
Cost: I paid around $8.32 including tax for one chicken patty with cheese and coco-bread. Overall pretty expensive for the average patty place.
Wait Time: There is one person working the register and making the food so it can take a little while to get your food. There was about 3 people ahead of me so it took like 20ish minutes to get my patty with coco-bread.
The Food: One chicken patty with cheese and coco-bread. I also got scotch bonnet sauce on it.
The chicken patty itself was not too tasty. There was a little bit of meat filling and the patty at the top looked burnt. The cheese did help a bit with the scotch bonnet sauce but overall I was not impressed with the patty itself. The coco-bread was really good, it was warm, almost buttery and was just really tasty. But it really didn't complement the patty
Overall: The atmosphere of the stand is alright, its in Kensington market where there are lots of food places, so it doesn't really matter if there's limited seating at the stand. The server was extremely nice and attentive. The food was okay but the price is not justified given that there is another patty place nearby selling for way less (and Chinatown is right there plenty of ways to spend less money).
