"Smack in the center of Miraflores, the Crowne Plaza opened in 2007, adding a floor to the building as it transitioned from a Holiday Inn Select to meet the growing needs of business travelers arriving in Lima. It underwent a major renovation in 2013, adding Italian marble everywhere it could in a move to keep it on par with newer competition. It’s an oasis of calm, tranquility, and comfort in an otherwise chaotic city, and the contemporary design is meant to bring a touch of home for the mostly international travelers who stay here. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and responsive to all my needs, including handling special requests swiftly. I would not recommend. I felt the service was very below par. it felt like the service expected at a motel. From check in to check out. Probably one of the worst hotel service i’ve experienced .The only people that was friendly and accommodating was the guys at the door . The bellman and the guy at the door service was top tier, they were the only ones who felt accommodating. i would not recommend, its a bunch of other hotels in the area to choose from. Other than that no issues with the room and great location , especially for walking

Julio is superb at what he does! A true example of an excellent host. He made the trip extra exciting to try new fruits. Every morning his hospitality was top notch. He anticipated needs and did everything to support and make my stay comfortable. Thank you!

This is a very nice hotel. You can tell it’s older by the elevators and worn carpet but overall it’s a very comfortable place. The staff was very kind and helpful. Everyone I spoke to knew at least some English and most were fluent. Really helpful for someone that speaks very little Spanish.

Hotel is located in nice area walking distance to many restaurants. We were recognized as IHG members with room upgrade. The staff very courteous and knowledgeable. The concierge Yomer made excellent sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The buffet breakfast was varied enough to enjoy.

Very courteous staff, extremely well mannered. The quality of breakfast and variety of vegetarian options is excellent. Haven't seen this variety of vegetarian breakfast in any other Crown hotels. Please keep it up.

This place was truly an experience. Everyone from each department did a fantastic job. It was incredible and the food was delicious. They made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Breakfast was also something I truly enjoyed there they had everything! I loved it! It was fresh and ready to eat.

********STAY AWAY STAY AWAY******** The service staff here has lost the ability to use common sense. I was able to check in with my wife's document and my own. However, I did not have my 3 YO'S document, which we left in our large luggage at the previous hotel. The staff would not wait for me to pick up my luggage the following morning to show my daughters ID. Clearly, I understand the law. However, earlier last week, I had stayed there with my family and was not given any problems. Unfortunately, I was forced to stay at a better hotel that would not give me any issues. These hotels like to make copies of your passports and keep it. The law states that you are required to show identification, and the hotel needs to verify your identity. They should not KEEP A COPY OF YOUR PASSPORT! COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR ABILITY TO USE COMMON SENSE TO TAKE CARE OF THE GUEST.
