Constructed in the early 18th century, it’s a remarkable feat of Baroque architecture, with richly decorated altars, beautiful paintings, a marble sarcophagus with relics of Saint Euphemia, and a Venetian-style facade that was added in the late 19th century."

Climbing the tower requires walking up a narrow stairway with steps that are essentially uneven rungs of a ladder. There are nice views from the sidewalk in front of the church. And it's an interesting old church to walk thru.

The church of St. Euphemia is Rovinj is a somewhat less interesting place to visit compared to the old town of Rovinj itself, with its small alleys, small local shops and views over the Adriatic. It's a nice church thought which is still in use. And then walk to it will reward you with a breathtaking view over the area and sea. Please like this review if found useful. Thank you.

A lovely church with an easy walk throughout the center of the city to access it. Loved that we could climb to the top of the bell tower for 4 euros since it's something you can rarely do at other churches and that the view was absolutely gorgeous!

To climb to the top of the tower you need topay 4 euros per person and climb up 186 stairs. They are shabby and narrow, not sitable for elderly or small kids (they were scared and crying). But the view is absolutely stunning!

The famous church in Rovinj, a beautiful view of it from various locations around Rovinj. The church is located on a hill, and various beautiful paved paths lead to it. Entrance to the church is free. For a minimal fee, you can climb to the bell tower, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the sea. Also sarcophagus is located in the church. The interior of the church is beautiful. It is very crowded here.

Church at the top of the hill in Rovinj old town. Story goes this is the final burial place of a girl who believed in Christianity but was tortured by the Romans. Cost 7 Euros to climb the bell tower, all 180 plus steps up wooden staircases where you will be rewarded with a great view.
