Credo is a solid establishment in SF and nails 4-stars in every aspect. Everything - food, service, atmosphere, price - is above average and occasionally touches the 5th star but there is definitely something missing to hit that caliber. Unlike many SF restaurants, Credo has secured a large enough space where they definitely set their atmosphere to make a statement. Rustic yet modern interior design with big bold fonts on white definitely takes you away from the streets that wrap the joint. The restaurant feels airy and large windows enhances the mood. Food is solid too. The croquettes were crispy. The baked brie was well balanced and sweet. The fig jam was hearty. The bread was warm with delicious butter and salt. The presentation was also great. But none of the dishes were memorable. They all tasted good, but nothing registered in my mind as unique nor irreplaceable. Again, above average, down the middle, execution. Credo has a reasonable price for what they provide and for this, I do think the restaurant will be popular for the foreseeable future. And yes, I would return. But there's that part of me that wants more. I want to see Credo fully unleashing its potential. They need to take a bit more stance with their taste. Pick a path and commit to it.

Great food, family style. Mains were shared with the table - steak was tender (maybe a bit too undercooked for me), the salmon and chicken were a hit. Full of flavor and not dry at all. Wow. The roasted veggies were good - some broccoli had a good char, carrots and mushroom a bit greasy. Food was well plated and don't skip the freshly baked bread. It gets a bit crowded inside, but service was fast.

Ok. Found this place because it was close to hotel. We walked in and IMMEDIATELY I wanted to hate this place. There are quotes on the wall that could be seen as derogatory and political. I found several right next to me that I did not agree on. I was now giving this place a one star. Buuuut Our waiter Angel was very fast and extremely friendly. He lied to me about jalapeños but I let that slide (inside joke). He was genuine and checked on us often. I ordered the spicy margarita and I am from Texas so did not expect much. I was amazed at how good this was. I had to order a second to make sure and the second was amazing also. My wife had the old fashion which neither of us cared for. We both ordered the burger and it came out extremely fast and was delicious. My wife added avocado and I added an egg. They were both delicious. They came with Parmesan fries and they were cooked perfect. Crunchy on outside soft on inside. So this was one place that went from 1 star to a 5 because they have great service, awesome food and an angel making margaritas. Gave three stars because of decor. This may be some people’s thing but I found some of them offensive. Either way you really should try this place.

Been many times over the past 10y and loved every time I’ve been there. From a black ink risotto, to delicious carbonara and pizza, this place exceeds your expectations every time and they have a nice wine list. Delicious.

The Cobb Salad with chicken was large and the chicken was moist and flavorful. The salmon was good, a little dry for my taste but I asked for medium so that may have been their definition of medium. My husband and I loved the ambiance, the food and the amazing hospitality of the staff! They made his birthday special with a birthday card signed by the staff, and treated us to a yummy dessert! We had seafood, which they have great options for with the halibut, salmon and octopus.

Came here on a Monday at noon for reservations for 4 people. Service was great from start to finish and super friendly staff! Good place to come to with coworkers and a short walk from our office. I got the twenty-five layer lasagna: short rib ragu, bechamel, marinara, hand-pulled mozzarella. Perfect for mozzarella lovers but I wanted more lasagna than mozzarella so I would get something else next time. Came here back in 2022 during my 1st week at my current job so definitely fond memories of this spot!

Decent place for lunch in downtown. Meatball sandwich - 3.4/5, big meatballs with tomato sauce and cheese, comes with fries. Was alright, filling and tasty. The fries were super crispy.

Pretty lackluster. The Orecchiette was nothing special, the Arancini appetizer was extremely salty, and the Carbonara was very oily. The best item that I tried was the Garlic Parmesan Fries, which tasted freshly fried and crispy. We went for lunch on a weekday and the servers seemed very busy- it took a few asks to finally get some takeout boxes. I got the vibe that this would be a popular spot to come to for a corporate lunch, but that's about it.

I met a friend here for lunch on a weekday. The location was easy to get to; we walked from 555 California. The space was brightly lit and service was comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely and appropriately-paced lunch. Everything was good, and the kale ravioli was particularly interesting.

Loved our meal at Credo and had the most fun and attentive servers! Credo is conveniently located in FiDi and an excellent choice for a nice lunch whether be with colleagues, clients, or friends For appetizer my crew enjoyed the wood oven gulf shrimp, braised beef short rib croquettes, and tuscan white bean hummus. For entrees I decided to get a burger with avocado and egg (yes! Do it!). And for the dessert you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I do recall a delicious chocolate cake (not pictured) that was absolutely delicious Thank you to our awesome server team for a fun and delicious lunch. You bet we'll be back!

TLDR: The vibe in here is more modern-Italian than traditional-Italian and the food was pretty good, with only a couple improvements that I'll mention below. It wasn't super busy when I went for dinner on a Friday, but they were able to accommodate a BIG group at that time, which I was impressed by. ------ FOOD: 1) [MUST TRY] Wood Oven Gulf Shrimp (5/5): An AWESOME app perfect for 2 people. The rosemary butter adds so much flavor to this and it's a really nice complex dish with different flavor elements. Not that much shrimp in this but I didn't mind because it was so tasty 2) Pine Street Salad (4.5/5): A pretty good cob salad! I added chicken breast to it, though it ended up being chicken thigh. The chicken was very tender and not dry at all. The salad itself was filling and had a lot of components and not too much blue cheese, which is better for me personally. The vinaigrette was acidic and coated everything nicely. I'd definitely get this again. 3) Steak Frites (4/5): Honestly a pretty good NY Strip but parts of it were VERY salty. My bf usually adds extra salt to his food and even he thought this steak was a little salty. Maybe it got salted twice by accident? Gave this an extra 0.5 because they were flexible in swapping out the potatoes with veggies. ------ SERVICE: * I thought service was a tiny bit coarse in that the server came over after we finished apps and kind of grabbed the plates and cutlery from between us without indicating he was going to do that or asking if we were ready. He ended up dropping a fork on me so I was so glad that I wasn't dressed up, but I wouldn't have loved it if he got sauce on nice clothing * Otherwise, since we sat at the bar, we interacted with the bartender quite a bit and I thought she was very nice ------ AMBIANCE / ENVIRONMENT: * High ceilings, nice view into a part of the kitchen * If you're looking for "cozy Italian" that's not here, but if you're looking for big open spaces and a more modern take on Italian, then come here

I had the Salmon for lunch. The portion was pretty small for one of the most expensive lunch items.(maybe like 4-5 bites with not much veggie side. It was good though, both in taste and texture. From a service standpoint, I'd say I expected more given our size of group. I never was wonce asked if I wanted another drink, though my water was refilled a time or two. Inside it is pretty loud as the large table is seated right next to the kitchen. Restrooms are down stairs, it was a bit toasty in them. I'd like to try the burger next time.

My friend and I had appointment in this busy area and couldn't make a reservation because we were not sure what time we would be done so we stopped by to see if they could take us. The host was very nice and did his best to find us a spot at the bar. The restaurant was very nice and all staff was so friendly and polite. My lemon drop tasted good and Veeder House Cabernet was so smooth. Appetizer and entrees came quick and were so delicious. I peeked at others chicken on the salad and it looked so good I will be ordering that next time!

Credo was a fun experience. The ambience was relaxed and cheerful. Service was spot on. For a drink I had the Rose Spritz which had a flavor I didn't enjoy but that could get my fault as I didn't know the flavor of all ingredients in the drink. We ordered the gnocchi, radicchio salad and gulf shrimp appetizer. All three were delicious but the gulf shrimp with sausage, beans and veggies were amazing. I would go back there again and think you will enjoy it as well.

I arranged dinner with some colleagues here. I had never been here before and was excited about trying it. I arrived early and spent some time at the bar. The bartender was pretty cool and it was a great opportunity to start reading the multitude of quotes on the wall. For dinner I had the chance to try the Wood Oven Gulf Shrimp, Filet of Salmon and a few other dishes. Everything was fantastic and everyone really enjoyed themselves. There was this grilled peach and ice cream dessert that we had which was amazing. The staff was really attentive and took great care of us. Not only did everyone enjoy the food but the quotes on the wall were the source of many really fun conversations. I got so many compliments for picking this restaurant. This has become one of my favorite restaurants in SF.

Credo offers a pleasant dining experience with its cozy atmosphere and traditional Italian fare. The salmon dish I tried was tasty and cooked to perfection, adding a flavorful option to their menu. If you're in the mood for Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting, Credo is worth a visit.

My cousin was in town for Dreamforce and we wanted a nice place for a leisurely dinner outside of the blast radius of the conference. The patio at Credo worked really, really well. Food was delicious. Had the filet of salmon in a basil aioli. It was fantastic. Tasted like the salmon was actually poached in the aioli. Both flavor and texture were just right. Also had the hummus appetizer. The hummus itself had sort of a sour undertone but everything with it was incredible, especially the crispy artichokes and the garlic focaccia on the side. And obviously the house crusty sourdough bread was irresistible. Service was attentive without being annoying. Everyone friendly and did not hurry us. If I had to point out one negative, it would be that the patio was a bit noisy. The traffic on the street was occasionally heavy and there were a few groups of loud rowdy people who insisted on standing right in front of the restaurant screaming about their plans. But otherwise, dinner was great and it's definitely on my short rotation when people visit the city.

Loved my meal here! Made a reservation for 5:30 and ordered a bunch to share and loved it all. They had very fresh veggies and their cacio e pepe was my favorite!

It's alright. Come for a business lunch but no reason to make a special trip. Have had a few meals here with colleagues and friends, the service is good but the menu doesn't really have anything excellent that I would keep coming back for. The pasta dishes tend to be fine. I had the winter truffle risotto recently that had zero taste of truffle whatsoever, and was very oily. That by itself is a one star for me but lucky for Credo, they placed what looks like a large piece of chicken thigh (rather than chicken breast, per the menu) on my plate, so that it was bumped to three stars. The salads look okay but not really my jam. Will probably be back but will learn to stick to pastas and soups.

Great spot for business lunch downtown. Staff is very courteous and friendly, service is fast and food is good with good selection of items and good ingredients.

It's been a while since I had dined here. And my first time dining here al fresco! It's a bit chilly these days; but fret not, they got umbrellas and heat lamp at the ready. I enjoyed my lunch of Arugula + Kale (small salad - thought it would be bigger) and Kauai Blue Prawns (appetizer). That garlic sauce with lemon zest!!! Wow! However, I feel that the portions are quite small (big eater here!) in commensurate with the price, so I was still a tad hungry after my meal. I do see they offer a Grab-and-Go deal of $15 + tax that comprised of sandwich, salad, and chips, so that looks promising if you are eating carbs. Menu changes weekly, so check their website.

Food 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Customer service 3/5 Speed 4/5 Price 3/5 Yummy Italian place in the financial district. I wouldn't recommend this place for vegans. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Portions are a bit on the small side for the price. Seems to be a very popular spot for business people on their lunch breaks. The customw service was a bit disappointing. I obviously stood out as a woman who was out of town I and was absolutely treated differently. I had a question or two about the menu which they did not answer and so I had to use google. They also did not automatically bring me bread and butter like the other customers. For this reason, I'm giving them a lower rating. The food was pretty good but the experience is just as valuable to me. My recommendation is to come here looking on the fancier side or you'll be treated less than the people who are dressed up. Nevertheless, I still left over a 50% tip to hopefully teach the staff to not judge a book by its cover.

Credo is very much so upscale Italian dining. So if you are expecting a fancier Olive Garden you might be disappointed. However the meal I had there was crafted to perfection. My waitress, Christina, made wonderful recommendations. I would definitely return.

This restaurant is a favorite near my office. I like coming here for lunch or an early dinner before I head out for the day. It's consistently delicious, authentic Italian food and the service is top notch. The other evening I brought some friends for dinner and we had the meatballs to start and then I had a risotto with peas, favas, and lemon that was SO incredible I wanted to lick the bowl. My friends both had the pasta with sausage. I think it was the orecchiette. They raved! Delicious food and wonderful restaurant. Thanks Credo!

Came here for a team dinner. We ordered a ton of appetizers and our own entrees. We ordered: Meatballs Olives Burrata Kauai blue prawns Caesar salad Arugula salad My entree was the rib eye steak. My fav item were the meatballs. They come w polenta and a tomato sauce. The balls were super flavorful, and tender. The polenta was cooked well. I could just eat 2 meat ball appetizers for my entree. I ordered the rib eye steak for the entree and it was just ok imo. The meat was a bit tough and "gritty". The salmon was better imo. I had high expectations for the Kauai prawns but they were just ok. Like a standard prawn in a buttery sauce. Other than that, the food was on the higher end of standard imo. Id come back for the meatballs!

I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant for a business dinner. The ambiance was great. The service was excellent, but one of the food items could have been better prepared. As an appetizer, we were served undercooked Brussels Sprouts. It was a nightmare trying to consume one of my favorite foods. Outside of that one mishap, the rest of the food items were delicious. I will definitely return when I am back in San Francisco again.

Came here when the pandemic had subsided and limited dining indoors was allowed. Service was quick and the decor was inviting and entertaining. Ironically it was restaurant week. But because of the pandemic last minute reservations were easy in this FiDi location. We had a small specialized meal with salad, pasta and meatballs that we shared. They have a bar for drinks as well. They had a small sidewalk seating area that was heated but with the winds that whip between the buildings, we didnt want to risk it as we were meeting some friends who were new to SF and the area. We caught the restaurant at a good time because it temporarily closed after the pandemic picked up in November 2020 and haven't seen it re-open

I have been here twice and have order the Dungeness Crab Sandwich and Chips twice! It is the best crab sandwich I have ever had in the Bay Area. Now that either means that it is objectively delicious or I need to try more crab sandwiches in the Bay. What I love about it is that it is not over the top nor overwhelming, and manages to be very flavorful. The crab with the avocado and the sauce is a perfect blend. I could honestly eat the Dungeness Crab Sandwich at Credo every day and am certainly tempted to do so. In addition to this wonderful sandwich is the wonderful service provided by the waiters and waitresses at Credo. During my visits I felt well taken care of and had no complaints. Further, when our food seemed like it was taking long to prepare, they took the initiative of providing us an explanation and reassurance. I will certainly be back soon and recommend to all who have never been.

I am a long term customer and fan of Credo but I have witnessed the food go downhill for the past several months. Today's lunch was extraordinarily bad and its time for Credo to turn the ship around or close shop in SF. The pappardelle was way overcooked and served as a blob unable to absorb any sauce. The Bolognese was tasteless except for the addition of Kale (why ?) that was not blanched, overpowered the dish and making for chewy stems. I noticed the place was 1/2 empty at peak lunch so maybe I am not the only one noticing the change. Sorry at $40.00 per lunch, Credo will have to do much much better moving forward.

I got a salad with salmon. It was small for $30, and I left still hungry. The flavors were fine, but not standout.

Solid SF Restaurant Week lunch spot! 2 course Lunch Menu $25.25 per person 1st Course: crostini butternut squash, brussels sprouts, pickled ramps, parmigiano reggiano * Yum! I really liked the butternut squash. I thought it was cheddar cheese at first, but then I read the menu again :) Overall, it was a healthy and enjoyable dish. OR mixed greens herbs and flowers, sunflower seeds, red wine vinaigrette 2nd Course: seared flat iron steak salad baby spinach, shaved root vegetables, fried shallots, parmigiano reggiano, balsamic vinaigrette * This was great! Refreshing, light, and juicy. There was a nice crunch from the root vegetables and fried shallots. The steak was cooked as recommended. OR butternut squash and kale ravioli roasted brussels sprouts, apples, pomegranate seeds, sage brown butter OR roasted chicken breast thigh involtino, winter root vegetables, natural jus A bit noisy, so you should probably not sit in the center of the restaurant. Service is slightly lacking because they're really busy, but they're doing the best that they can!

Credo is a very posh, trendy Italian restaurant. The food here was great! Their menu was a little overwhelming for someone who's not super familiar with Italian food names. I spent 10 min googling things like "orecchiette," LOL. I ended up getting the lamb pappardelle, which was soo tasty! The lamb was extremely tender and just melted in my mouth. The pappardelle noodles were nice and chewy. The sauce was a little too liquidy for my taste, though. The complimentary bread is also great. It was soft and fresh, and we didn't have to saw through the crust. The butter spread was at that perfect spreading temperature where it's still solid, but super easy to spread. We also ordered a caesar salad appetizer. The lettuce came in huge pieces, which I thought was sort of strange. We had to cut the lettuce with our forks and knives. Maybe this is a fancy restaurant thing? Or a typical Italian thing? Who knows. We didn't mind though, because the salad tasted great!

Sitting at the chef's table, I had a front row seat to all the action. The kitchen is where the magic happens at Credo. I truly loved everything I had the other night, but it was clearly many of my fellow diners did too. I witnessed several of them stop at the counter and thank the cooks for a wonderful meal. It's an open kitchen, so it is a lot easier to express your gratitude, but how often have you seen that happen? To me, it spoke volumes about the dining experience at this restaurant. People loved their food and they wanted to say thank you! Even though my reservation was on the later side, I was warmly greeted and quickly seated, which is always a treat. I had a choice between a table and the chef's counter and I happily chose the latter. I started off with the burrata di bufala, which was served with peaches, wildflower honey, and toasted levain. Burrata has become ubiquitous, but Credo's version is perfect with soft mozzarella enveloping a creamy center. I'm not always a fan of fruit in my savory dishes, but the peaches paired beautifully with the cheese. Place the two atop the bread and drizzle on the honey sauce and it's heaven! I saw the halibut dish being passed across the counter a few times and it looked amazing, so I chose that for my main dish. I was not disappointed. Wild Alaskan halibut was lightly crusted and complemented by sweet corn, chanterelles in a corn truffle emulsion. It was another winning combination, which I loved and something even a person who does not often order the fish would probably enjoy - the flavors come together wonderfully and the fish has a nice, fresh flavor. For dessert, I ordered the affogato. I have seen it on menus here and there, but I was a newbie to this treat. It's a tall glass filled with vanilla bean gelato, hazelnut croquant and chocolate rice crispies. Hot Graffeo espresso is poured over this concoction to create an Italian, grown-up version of an ice cream soda. I'm usually a cake guy, but I did enjoy the affogato for a change of pace. All the elements work well together and it's a bit lighter than a slice of cake. Plus, you get dessert and coffee all in one. My server was both friendly and inefficient. She offered excellent recommendations. I also enjoyed watching the cooks create the I was in San Francisco for six days and Credo was definitely the best meal I had during my stay. If you're in this part of the city (or even much further away), I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!

Food was good, though it is one of those places that adds Chilli flakes to food and not stated on the menu - not a fan of this for allergy reasons. Also tip is included. I had a quick scan of the receipt and was not obvious, so I tiped again, just a quick call out from the server would be nice, I would have tipped extra, but 40% was not my plan.

A great under-the-radar happy hour spot! Happy hour is offered Mon-Fri 3-6 pm and includes a good selection of food and cocktails. All of their cocktails, regularly priced at $13, are $9 during happy hour. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in. Our server started out by bringing us bread and complimentary garlic potato chips and spiced nuts. The bread is really soft, but the butter is pretty salty so use it sparsely. They had 3 daily pizzas available for happy hour. We went the margherita for $14. It's thin crust, probably 10-12 inches, and great for 2-3 people to share. We also ordered the brussel sprouts ($7). They were delicious with the pancetta, though I would've liked for sprouts to be more crispy and less soft. As far as drinks go, I started off with the Jamaican Breeze (rum, pressed pineapple, lime, vanilla), which tasted like pineapple juice, i.e. it was nice and sweet. I also ordered the Maryunez (yuzu infused gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino, bitters) as well, but I didn't like it as much because it was very strong on the gin and I couldn't taste any yuzu or cherry flavors which I was expecting. I had to slowly sip on this. The service here is great! Our server was very attentive in checking in with us occasionally, and my water glass was never empty for long. We were here for 3.5 hours slowly drinking and chatting and there was absolutely no pressure to leave. I really appreciated that.

We were a party of seven during the holiday season dining for dinner at Credo. Made reservations ahead of time and were promptly seated. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the ambience was perfect for a holiday get together. The staff was very helpful and made our dining experience an exceptionally pleasant one. The burrata is a must have for appetizer, soft on the inside and firm on the outside, just full of magical flavors!! Must try the butternut squash Ravioli as it is one the best I have ever tried anywhere. Finish off with the chocolate ganache tart and you will not be disappointed!! What an amazing experience. Will definitely be back in future for celebrations!!

Credo and their staff and management team were extremely accommodating for our business dinner for 20 people. They went over and above to make sure we were good. They also created a special space for a large party within 2 days - super short notice with a major event gapping in San Francisco. A huge thank you to the manager - Adam, thank you so much! I don't know what we would have done without you! Great food amazing people at Credo! Highly recommended!!

Oh my goodness. I thought I had reviewed these guys already. Guess not... I come down from Marin because an investor group does a roadshow here regularly. So that's when I go. They provide lunch which is nice and what else is nice is that have excellent vegan options. Wow I really believe:) Just take a look at the butternut squash ravioli they made for me today. (See photo). I've had nice eggplant dishes here and other vegan creations. The staff is always superb - can't say enough there. And the place is clean and attractive. And at lunch it's always full. Note: the downstairs room where they do these functions has many neat quotes on the wall. I am simply lucky to get these lunches at no cost but if I'm in the area I would gladly play for what the chef made today. The bed of mashed butternut squash, with the BN ravioli, Brussels sprouts and pomegranate seeds on it with some greens. Today's dish really makes me want to drive 45 min again tomorrow for more! Great job Credo. Note: no lunchtime valet but there is a garage a couple hundred feet up Pine on the left.

Quiet atmosphere, dim lighting, sort of modern chic. A lot of quotes and text on the walls from important figures commenting on social issues. We were intrigued about that and found online that they contribute and are fighting for social justice. Service was good, attentive, they gave us recs for wine pairings. We shared risotto and cesar salad, risotto was good. The cesar salad came with a ton of chicken, with the bone still in a leg. The burrata was probably our favorite and the only thing that really stood out, it was dressed well and the bread was delicious. We had spicy margaritas that were delicious.

I enjoyed a nice dinner at Credo this past weekend (5/19/18). Four of us gathered for an early meal and found the restaurant to be very pleasant since it was quiet enough to hold a conversation. What I liked about Credo was the fact that there were a lot of food options for any appetite and craving. Bonus: the restaurant starts you off with delicious complimentary levain bread & butter. After reading other Yelp reviews I decided we should start off with the octopus plate as our shared appetizer. Gotta say that not only was the plate very pretty to look at but also incredibly tasty. Definitely I could have had this all to myself as an entree since the vegetables, potatoes and octopus together was delicious. My companions (who all seemed focused on carbo loading) ordered pastas: pappardelle with pork sugo, linguine & clams and cavatelli with chicken breast. They seemed happy with their dishes and gobbled up the pasta in record time. My choice of pork chop as entree, unfortunately, was the only disappoint. The meat was undercooked and was quite pink near the bone so I couldn't eat it. Otherwise the accompanying sides of sauteed red cabbage (somewhat sauerbraten-like) and disks of baked/ grilled sweet potato were yummy. Since one of our party was celebrating a birthday, we were about to order dessert but were pleasantly surprised when our server brought out a slice of cake with a lit candle on a plate. How thoughtful & what a nice surprise! The cake was a house-made cherry blossom essence sponge cake with whip cream on the side. Very light and was a good way to round out the meal. Overall, I liked Credo restaurant. The decor was very pretty; the quiet weekend ambiance relaxing for the group; and food was satisfying. Hope to return to try other dishes in the future. Btw: Credo in Italian means "I believe" and this is the start of all the quotes on the artfully designed wall space.

We walked here from a nearby office we were visiting so it was super easy for us to get here. The waiter was a bit on the snappy/rude side, but he did move fast. The food was good, I had the crab sandwich and it was super tasty. It was a bit pricey for what I received, but I suspect that is the norm for out here. The ambiance was nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy their lunch, and I think the company I was with helped with the rating because they helped with the experience since we were in a larger group. If we were in a smaller group, I think the waiter would have made this a 3 star experience.

Most of the food was good, best dishes, steak cooked perfectly, duck as well. Everyone enjoyed the paperdelle bolognese, lots of vegetables it was tasty, appetizer shrimp, the hummus dip, pork belly and salad was descent as well. My problem was the way overcooked super dry salmon, it was so dry it was hard! I was waiting for our waiter who was not very attentive to ask how are things, he never asked when he was around. We waited a long time to order drinks, then blown off by another guy who we asked if we can order drinks. Then we asked to move tables since we ordered so much food, there was no way it would have all fit on our tiny square table. This guy we asked just laughed and walked away!! Then we asked our waiter and he kindly moved us. I would not be complaining about the service if the place was slammed but it was more than half empty! Service for a $400 meal for four people should be better than it was.

WOW! That's the closest description I can arrive at to describe the amazing sensation my tastebuds went through as I ate my to-go order from Credo. My colleague's sister graciously purchased dinner for me from Credo as a thank you for hooking them up with my Hamilton tickets lottery win. She ordered the pan roasted chicken breast, which came with thigh involtino, roasted vegetables, and a side of delicious, thick, jus sauce. The chicken breast was boneless, aside from the tiny leg bone. It was really thick, juicy, with a crispy skin that was well seasoned. The thigh involtino looked and tasted like it was wrapped in a perfectly delicious and crispy duck skin, and was SO full of flavor in every bite. Despite the meal having gone cold by the time I brought it home, it was still lick-my-bowl-clean level of deliciousness! I can't wait to come try Credo during an actual sit-down experience!

The black cod was amazing - flavorful, moist & delicious! The truffle emulsion put it over the top! The chocolate ganache tart was a perfect way to end our meal. Want to return on a Sunday for the family style dinner.

Went for restaurant week with the girlfriend. Burrata was tasty, salad was awful, meatballs were pretty great, the fish was the worst I've ever tasted, and the pork chop was bad, but on the bright side the mustard was great. I definitely wont be coming back.

One of the best work lunch experiences in my September 2019. Credo fell into everything I was looking for in a small celebration lunch: relaxed upscale, spacious interior, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, friendly service, and delicious food. We left the place feeling energized and satisfied. We started with the Rose Strawberry drink which was beautifully presented. I was impressed! For appetizers, I strongly recommend getting the Burrata with Stone Fruits. It was so so delicious. The melty, soft, slightly salty burrata cheese paired perfectly with the soft, juicy, and sweet peaches on a crunchy piece of bread. It was like a elegant dance in my mouth. The octopus appetizer has great robust flavors, but just too much potatoes and other things and not enough octopus. For entrée, I got the carbonara, which was a well-cooked standard tasting carbonara with some crispy pork skin. Pasta cooked to al dente. The others loved their dishes as well. The burrata is delicious enough for me to come back! Great place for a sit down lunch with friends and coworkers. Not too busy during lunch which is always nice too.

Updating my review to 5 stars, because I absolutely love the food at Credo and they're now offering a "Soup and Salad Combo" option on the Ritual app, which is perfect if you're in a hurry and want quality food at an affordable price ($15 with the option to add-on if you want to). I ordered the chicken noodle soup and chopped salad. The soup had a generous amount of meat, noodles, and vegetables (squash, bell pepper, onions), and the broth was warm, comforting, and seasoned well. The salad was a good size with lots of salami, olives, marinated red peppers, artichokes, garbanzo beans, croutons and romaine with a light herb vinaigrette. I asked for no dairy and they were able to accommodate this request, which I appreciated! When I arrived, the hostess had stepped away, so the bartender greeted us and came over to help after he finished serving a customer. I let him know I ordered on Ritual and it was ready to go when promised (yay!). And what I really loved was that my lunch came in a neat carrier that made it easy to bring back to the office. A number of my colleagues wanted to know what I got and commented on how cute it was (and that the food looked good!). Hopefully, our office will be ordering from here soon. If not, I'll be back! Came here for dinner with a group of friends one Saturday night and our experience was very mixed. The appetizers (meatballs, crostini and Brussel sprouts) were really underwhelming. The pizza was quite good but a bit on the salty side. The main dish (Alaskan Cod) was solid. Food-wise, it was a 3 star experience. Service was good and very quick and the restaurant itself (location and space) was really beautiful. It was also on the pricey side. Service was enough to bring the overall rating to 3.5 stars. Probably won't recommend this restaurant since there are better Italian options in the city at the same price range.

Amazing service! We had some great suggestions on appetizers to start with. Drinks and wine were fab. Dinner was amazing. Our water glasses were always on pointe and drinks were easily replenished. Excellent!!!

Undercover Italian casual style wine setting tucked in the FiDi! It can easily be missed while walking by this dim place! The see through windows aren't open enough to see this lovely restaurant. Their Burrata marinated cherry tomatoes, toasted Levain was a great starter. I went wowzers on their Ricotta Gnocchi with Truffle in a creamy sauce! The colorful presentation, flavor and texture was all there! Their Squash Blossom Pizza with truffle oil was different and a good take on using squash blossom. The Sedanini was a baked pizza crust topping and inside was fresh penne, sausage bits with tomato sauce. It was entertaining on cutting it open. They have ample entrees to order as well as refined cocktail drinks! Excellent service and Timothy made me a virgin drink that I requested to be like a detox drink! It was refreshing! Basil, lemonade with a pinch of cayenne kick! Lovely! I didn't care too much on the trout with citrus flavor and arugula mixed up with the dish. To end on a sweet tone, petite desserts were provided. I like the fudge brownie-like one. Kudos to Credo! I had a pleasant time!

The concept of this restaurant is really cool... to start conversation! I love that the wall art engages the eyes as well as the mind while still maintaining a scrappy elegance with Piet Hein Eek's esthetic very much appreciated! The food is mouthwatering-ly yummy with a rustic presentation and excellent preparation. Check out their menus with great seafood & meat choices. My only aside would be to ask the chef to tone down the salt a little in the pasta prep. I love their curb appeal in FiDi as it stands out from the rest. I'm bookmarking this for a return visit in San Francisco!

Had dinner here a couple nights ago and was greeted by the nicest people. I definitely felt taken care of there. Upon sitting down, we ordered drinks and were offered chips and small bread squares (focaccia?) that were super delicious. The room is decorated with quotes from all around the world and from different times in history. They are political, inspirational, controversial, and everything in between. We were told that they wanted to start a conversation and create a discussion over great food at their restaurant. The food was amazing. We had this tomato and cucumber salad with varying species of each type of vegetable. I usually am not a huge fan of salad, but this was was bursting with flavors. The dressing was light and tangy - perfect for the summer. We also had this shrimp dish with sauce that makes you want to drink every last drop. You can use the bread they bring to the table to soak up every last bit. That was one of my favorites. We also had a pork, salmon and zucchini pappardelle dish. The pork had a type of risotto bed underneath that was a dream with fried pork rinds that were delicious. The salmon had a creamy sauce that I also loved. The zucchini pappardelle was good, but it didn't really stand out. The dessert was amazing. We had a sorbet with a biscotti and then a panna cotta that blew my mind. Absolutely loved this place. Extremely friendly with great food and cocktails thats also reasonably priced. How can you do better than that?? I've never been for lunch, but this seems like a great cute and trendy dinner spot that you could spend hours talking and eating.
