"Toruń Copernicus Hotel Named after astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who was born in Toruń in 1473, the Toruń Copernicus Hotel slightly resembles a spaceship. Rooms are modern yet comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, while daily breakfasts are excellent, with fresh, high-quality products and delicious coffee. Guests can also look forward to a range of amenities, from the gourmet Salt restaurant (open on weekends) to a swimming pool, spa, salon, and even bowling alley. Just outside the hotel, a waterfront path runs along the Vistula River, offering the perfect place to stroll or jog each morning. The hotel is also just a short walk across a park to the lovely Old Town, making it the ideal base for experiencing Toruń’s many charms."

Very good hotel. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Spacious and very well equipped rooms with a beautiful view of the Vistula. Wi-Fi works very well in the hotel. The pool may not be too big, but for me and my teenage daughter it was OK. Breakfasts were very good, a huge selection of dishes, I don't think there was anyone who wouldn't find something for themselves. Several coffee machines mean there are no lines for coffee. I recommend and I will definitely come back :)

The hotel itself is modern architecture and well located at the river bank with nice view but get old already. The room smells bed I had to sleep with open window all night. Gym is literally in the garage between parking cars and both treadmills very broken. Staff seem to be underpaid as they are not really engaged with customer satisfaction at any point. During the breakfast I asked waiter for coffee and I was told to help myself. Also the food was grab from my nose as the breakfasts time has ended. I had to pay for a parking even if my car wa parked on the side of the road and not on the parking.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I was assigned room 212 (15.03.25), which was located above the nightclub. The noise from the club was absolutely unbearable, running from Saturday night into morning. I could not sleep at all due to the loud music and traveling through vents.I tried to contact reception to request earplugs, my calls went unanswered all night, which was incredibly frustrating. The following morning, when I spoke to the reception, they showed no empathy or apology for the inconvenience. Instead, they simply stated that some guests are bothered by the noise while others are not. This response was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the price I paid for my stay. In high-end hotels, when something unacceptable like this occurs, I would expect at least a gesture such as a discount or a complimentary service like a spa, but nothing was offered here.I did ask if I could change rooms or even hotels if the noise continued on the next night, but I was assured that Sunday night would be quieter and thankfully, it was.||On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette on Sunday morning, but that’s about the only positive part of my stay. Given the noise on Saturday night, I honestly would not stay at this hotel again even for free. It’s a real shame because the hotel itself has great potential, but the lack of customer service and the noise completely ruined my experience.

Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for spa and restaurant. Excellent breakfast with normal sized glasses for juice (not those tiny ones that people first drink 2 or 3 of at the counter before taking the next one to their table). For the first time we had bath robes that actually fit instead of the sleeves barely covering your ellbows. Good value for money.

Hit and miss this place. Location is perfect, and our room overlooked the Wisła, and only a short walk into the centre of Toruń. We had a Spa package booked and the massages were exceptional, and frankly one of the best I've had anywhere in the world. The breakfast was excellent, with a varied selection of hot and cold foods. The only letdown for me was the hotel gym, for a start it's in the garage area so felt not very welcoming. The equipment all felt very tired, and in need of some upgrade and modernisation. No thought was given to a water cooler, towels, or anything to make the gym experience more pleasant. The staff were all courteous, professional, and efficient. Overall a great hotel, and with a better gym would be perfect.

All in all, the good things about this hotel outweigh the small suggestions I have to improve it. It’s a beautiful designed hotel, with very well trained and pleasant staff. The pool area with both indoor and outdoor pools is spectacular. . The indoor pool it’s comfortably heated and has water jets to massage various parts of the anatomy. The buffet breakfast is worth twice the price. It’s in a lovely, airy room with a beautiful view of the river. The choice is overwhelming, even for a jaded, New Yorker. And the food, every bit of it, is terrific. Now for the small suggestions. The room and bathroom are very tastefully designed and furnished, but the bathroom is minute. There’s not really enough light in the rooms or in the hallways. Elevator service though, is very good. I’m not sure why, but they seem to use a queen size quilt on a king size bed. That makes for a little dispute over coverage at night. Balcony, view and furnishings are excellent though starting to show their age.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The room was relatively large, well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the Vistula River. The room as well as the entire hotel were very clean. The service was outstanding and the food at breakfast was excellent. The old town of Torun is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

I really can’t understand why this hotel has such high scores while honestly it deserves to be rated as very mediocre, not to be too harsh. I have been to a number of 4 starts hotels and this one was literally the worst and also the worst value for the money. It was way too expensive for what it offers. The building itself already looks very outdated and nothing like on pictures, inside…well the reception desk looks fine, rooms are okeish, but the spa is ridiculously outdated. It gives you a feeling of a very old place. The swimming pool and spa in theory is quite rich in choice but the quality and cleanliness is far from good. Working hours - until 21, but you should leave at 20:45, but the employees turn off the saunas already at 20:30. The TV in the room is very old, really…in less star hotels they place newer ones. The hairdryer was a disaster - very weak and you have to push the button constantly so that it works. It reminded me of hostels. On Saturday there was a wedding and it was super loud at night - not a thing you would expect when go to SPA to relax. It was exactly on our side of the room! Luckily after I complained we were moved for the night to another room, but it meant we had to go to another place at night just to take a bit better sleep. Still far from perfect as the music could be heard as well, and we were just next to lifts which were loud and people used them the whole night. I got a much worse sleep than in any other hotel or at home. They tried - the room they gave us was the best one, I checked and its rate is 1700 PLN, however tbh I have been to hotels with such rates per night and the quality is incomparable. At this hotel they simply overcharge you. I would like to underline that if a hotel expects to hold a wedding, they shall accommodate other guests adequately from the very beggining and not just try to fix the mess later. The positive point is the location, which indeed is great - very close to the old town. The service at the reception desk was very kind and they really wanted to help us better sleep - we appreciate that. It is just that the management shall be better.

Yelp
The Copernicus hotel is a modern, if not one of the most modern hotels in Torun city. Situated right at the river it is though a bit of the main tourist tracks and thus very quite. The rooms are spacious and so luxery. We were greeted warmly at the reception and guided through the hotel spa and fitness as well as the bar and breakfast offer befor we went upstairs to inspect our rooms. The suit was by far one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever been with enough space for two people to actually waltz in there and equipped to with two TV's, a couch and a large bed. Unfortunately we didn't have time to check on the spa area but I am sure it is as good as the rooms and the breakfast. The latter not only provides fresh bread and all kind of salads, meat and cheese but has it's own coffee machine for the guest to chose their favourite coffee such as latte or cappucino as well as it's own chef for egg dishes. Just chose your ingredients such as veggies or meat and decide for the shape of the egg (fried, omlette, scrambled). All in all a very luxery stay and we will definately come back and use the pool and the gym.
