Su Su Waterfall Fried Chicken

They have air conditioned seating area! The service was not the best, but the food made up for it. The chicken skin was super crispy, tomato rice was cooked well, not mushy. But the sauce. The brown sauce in the bottle, is like, a garlic fish sauce and it was so good. I’d 100% come back here. 55k for a plate of rice with the chicken thigh

A restaurant recommended by some local guides, and famous for their fried chicken. There are limited items on the menu, but ordered the Chicken Maryland and also the one with the Tomato Rice. The rice was a bit soggy and lacked the tomatoes flavour and wok air which I prefer. The chicken was cooked perfectly - very crispy skin. However, I found that it was a bit too skinny, so it wasn't as tender as it could be (if the chicken had more fat). It also lacked a bit of marinade/salt. The staff though were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Overall it was okay. A gentle reminder, if you ever visit, please be careful about the use of the wet towel - as each towel cost you extra. 😅

I am never impressed or disappointed by the food They use a cool oil dripping machine the owner invented on the chicken- it is supposed to make the chicken really crispy… The chicken is crispy and juicy —- everything on the menu is fairly priced The rice is usually nice and flavorful - vibrant orange/yellowish tint

I heard about this place from a friend. The chicken is good. However, for me personally, I think it tastes like many other V-chicken places. The same tasting/quality chicken may be cheaper elsewhere (Bình Thạnh, Thủ Đức, & D9 are all places I've had such chicken). This was still good, 55K/$2.15 for a hindquarter & rice. Not particularly the biggest piece of chicken. 10K/$0.40 for a medium-sized cup of sugarcane juice (nước mía), which I believe they order from the beverage stand across the alley, which I noticed on the way to the restaurant. *2K/$0.1 for the wet tissue they give you.

We bought the rice with chicken breast and wing. Unfortunately we were unable to get the thigh as it was sold out by the time we reached there. The skin was amazing and especially the dipping sauce on the side.

This is the ultimate in Vietnamese fried chicken and a must when visiting Saigon! Hidden down an unassuming alleyway, it promises the best in an innovative and one of a kind way in delivering the tastiest fried chicken I think I've ever had. The meat is pre-broiled then flash fried on order in a waterfall of boiling hot oil resulting in fried chicken with a juicy and tender inside and a golden and crispy outside - made on a contraption invented by the owner. It was a true masterpiece of perfectly fried chicken. Add unlimited amounts of their homemade secret sauce which was as good as the chicken, I promise! And you have yourself and elite combo of com ga!

The chicken was crispy and prepared in a unique way. If you are in the area, give it a try. The shop has limited seating.

Really enjoyed the food and it is cooked in such a cool way. I like that there is only 3 things on the menu for a main meal. Would highly recommend the Tam Hoang Chicken with Rice - Thigh. Very reasonable prices, I paid just over £2 for a main meal and a beer.
